Absolutely terrible. Came out feeling very disappointed and underwhelmed. Don’t waste your money on it. Know more about Sam’s life than Elvis. Clearly didn’t have enough budget to get this right.... See more

Avoid Avoid Avoid

Attended 3rd December 2025. As a lifelong fan this was disappointing and definitely not worth the money. Cringed at the poor acting, accents and disjointed “story” - it actually felt like the actors knew this was a poor show and were embarrassed to be doing it.
The drinks at the bars were way over priced. It was a con to get you to sit in 3 different bars to get you to spend money. Very amateurish and not enough about Elvis and his singing - only about 20minutes of poorly spliced 68 Comeback footage…..the “lovingly restored” picture quality wasn’t even consistent. Stay home and watch the whole 68 Comeback on YouTube for free.
The “never seen before, behind the scenes footage of Elvis in the
dressing room before the ‘68 Special” was a very poor AI render! Definitely wouldn't recommend it, waste of money.
They have shown better programmes on TV for free! Not worth the time and cost for the travel (came from Scotland especially to see this).
It was an embarrassment and disrespect to Elvis and his family.

DON'T GO

This show is a complete rip off. From beginning to end it was worse than a junior school production All the film clips are ones that have been on TV, so nothing new. Food and drink is extortionate and is very poor quality. The young actors behave like school kids on crack and are poor singers and musicians. Cannot think of anything positive to say. Complete waste of money. The company churning this garbage out needs to be prosecuted.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. VERY VERY LOSELY BASED ON THE LIFE OF ELVIS, JUST A WHOLE LOAD OF STORY TELLING BUT NOTHING OF NOTE, AND HARDLY ANY MUSIC FROM ELVIS OR PHOTOGRAPHS OR ANYTHING ABOUT HIM. 9 OF US WENT AND IT COST £675 AND EVERYBODY WAS DISAPPOINTED. LAYERED REALITY REFUSE TO GIVE MONEY BACK AND ARE ALSO DELETING ALL NEGATIVE FEEDBACK ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Shockingly Bad - Waste of Money, Total Scam

If I could give it less than one I would! We paid 171 pounds each absolutely brutal. Don’t waste ur money! It’s a money making racket, vip got a horrible cocktail and second drink was a drink of choice, travelled from Ireland to see it and honestly I wouldn’t walk across the road to see it, I cannot emphasise how bad it actually is, I’m sorry I didn’t look at reviews first, it’s the worse show I’ve ever been to! It’s not worth the cheapest ticket never mind £171! Read the reviews it’s brutal a few actors talking about Elvis never again!!

Disappointed

So disappointed as a lifelong Elvis fan I was hoping for so much more. It should have been called the Sam Bell story as that’s all you heard about. Came out not quite sure what I had seen as apart from the last 15-20 minutes you never really saw anything of Elvis Today. I feel like I have been ripped off. £75 entrance fee £2 for the cloak room. Just to make sure they got more money out of you there were three stops on the way to buy food or drinks. Really should have looked at the reviews before we went really wouldn’t recommend you spend your money. God knows what you got for £300. Good point the actors/musicians were good 😡

This was absolutely dreadful

This was absolutely dreadful. Six of us went at a cost of £75.00 each and could not believe how bad it was. No hologram despite it being advertised as such when we purchased the tickets. It was cheap looking, boring and the band at the end were miming, not live and just with a video of Elvis being shown behind them. Don’t waste your money it really is shockingly bad

Money making scam

Nothing was as promised at time of purchase.

Sent to 3 bar areas at start middle and end.

Endless photo opportunities with cut outs and props to make more money.

The show was mostly 4 actors playing roles in front of video.

The first 45 mins there was no sign of Elvis apart from an inferred silhouette. So boring and loud.

The last 30 mins was good but there was no atmosphere because everyone was so upset by what led up to it.

Utter cringe and rip off.

The worst London experience I’ve had in 8 years and I include having my phone stolen in that. 2 hours I’ll never get back, never mind the £60. If you paid £300 for this, you’d probably cry for weeks. If you ya e to put these signs up everywhere, maybe that’s your queue to make the show better. As disappointing as finding out Lilly Savage was a man.

Sham of a show

Please don’t waste your hard earned money on this shambles of a show. It is totally misleading. Firstly it’s mostly about Sam Bell. Who? I hear you ask. He’s supposed to be a childhood friend of Elvis and the story is mainly about him. There is no Hologram where Elvis is supposed to appear and you feel like you are there with him at the 68 Special. Not one of us from a party of eight could hear what the actors were saying. The same 3 Elvis songs played over and over. There was no atmosphere at all. So disappointing. There’s a group on Facebook called Elvis Evolution dissatisfied customers. Read the reviews on there before booking and try for a refund.

Don’t waste your money

Don’t waste your money. Elvis was a legend and he’d turn in his grave seeing this. 15 mins of video clip of ‘68 concert, very good, other 2 hours and 10 mins absolute rubbish. The producers should be ashamed. Total Rip Off, especially as AI is available now, it could have been great if it was a concert of Elvis ONLY, forget the crappy acting and story line (which had barely nothing to do with Elvis) that no one’s interested in, schrill American voices, loud and boring. Exceptionally over priced.

A total rip off

I purchased Elvis Evolution tickets on the first day they were on sale when the experience was publicised as a hologram and the CEO of Layered Reality was comparing it to Abba Voyage. Despite multiple attempts to secure a refund the company have disrespected their previously loyal customers and gaslit us about how they represented the event. So, we went along with low expectations which were met!

It reminded me of a sixth form college production with bad production values, a bad script and terrible sound quality. The whole thing was done on the cheap, despite the ticket price, with 3 actors playing multiple parts (like a local am dram production in a very small town) and lazily thought through themed rooms.

One of the actors shouted all of her lines rendering them unintelligible - where is the director to point her in the right direction? Was there ever a director? They've definitely left the building if there was! It seems that the team got caught up in the angle of this being told from the point of view of Elvis's childhood friend but it was irrelevant and uninteresting and just served as boring filler.

There were far more security staff than actors which tells you a lot. One even loudly commented that the audience looked like we were all going to a funeral and not having fun - it was because we paid £65+ each and were feeling decidedly ripped off! I understand that the company producing the hologram went under but, come up with something else like a VR experience which has been done so successfully elsewhere or partly refund your customers. Don't show a complete disregard for your audience by cutting costs everywhere you can and creating an experience clearly done on the cheap.
