Very poor company, customer experience and request handeling
So what to say about this company whose intentions are not to make the customer happy, but quite the opposite. On 01/04/2022 I placed an order for a product on the site (I have the order and all the confirmations in my box) which costs me an amount X which was changed shortly after my order to an amount Y on their website. I contacted them on facebook the same date when I saw that the price of the producut was raised to make sure that I will receive my order at the original price and they confirmed. Happy to hear that I began to patiently wait for the day when I would be delivered to my door (since I never order to pick up any product in the store). I waited 6 days and decided to contact them again to see what is happening to my order. They told me again on facebook (I have all the chat again) that my order is still with them and I have to pick it up in one of their showroom on the other side of the city of Sofia. I told them that I have never chosen this location for the delivery of my order and that I must be crazy to have sent it so far from my home. They told me to look at the confirmation of my order on which it is actually mentioned to pick it up in their showroom. I answer them again that it is impossible and that I have never opted for this location and ask them to provide me with logs that can prove my actions. They replied that they do not have such logs and that they cannot redirect the order to my home address .....
Bad experience
I purchased a Christmas gift on 12 December for my parents and it didn't arrive at all, even after Christmas. Asked EMag couple of times what was going on with no answer.
Their services are extremely unreliable.
Totally disappointed.
It has bad rating in Scam-Detector.com as well.
100% Consumer fraud
I ordered Rowenta Dehumidifier from emag.bg
From the start the dehumidifier emitted smoke, therefore I returned the item within five days.
Two days later the seller acknowledged receiving the defective item and promised a refund within 14 days.
Three months passed - NO REFUND, NO dehumidifier.
A typical fraud by all measures.
eMag is not the same as Amazon: their sellers can really drop the ball
I ordered a 12 pack of whiteboard markers. When the courier arrived with the box I thought it was empty. There was only one marker inside.
When I called customer service about it, I was told that I have to deal with the supplier, and that I should send the product back to the supplier by courier, at my expense.
Since my first (terrible) experience, I've had a few better experiences with higher-end orders (some electronics), and I'm willing to take a chance on 3 stars.
It's clear that they count on your not wanting to spend the time to correct their mistake, and just leave your money with them.
My primary take-away: you shouldn't compare eMag.bg with Amazon, because although they are structured the same eMag just doesn't connect the chain of trust between the customer and the end merchant like Amazon does.
My order came defective
My order came defective, by the second it appeared out of stock and discounted on the website. The call centre explained that they cannot replace, because it's out of stock. I requested a return and refund. As soon as I did that the defective product was back in stock for the next clueless customer.
Don't order from this store. Just ... don't.

The whole experience with that company sucks, don't bother ordering from that site, it will cost you time and nerves.
Don't buy from it
They delete the bad reviews on their items. Their stock is also of mediocre to bad quality which means you're better off buying from other retailers.
Bit of a context - I've spent in the region of £3000-5000 on Amazon.uk and have written (not counting reviews w/o commentary) about 1-2 dozen reviews and never had a review deleted. I went back to Bulgaria and was told Emag.bg were legit. They're in fact junk and I wasted my money. Bought a 100% positive review item for a considerable sum, the item was overpriced and of mediocre quality, wrote a review and it was deleted by their staff for a made up reason. I was told the price I quoted in the review was wrong when that was the price at the time and the price I paid in cash. They're frauds and liars, don't bother.
Wrong product, 14 days for refund
I ordered my product on 20.11.2020 - a laptop Lenovo. On 28.11.2020 I finally received my product, but it was nothing like the ordered - 14' instead of 15.6', chipset AMD instead of the ordered Intel, RAM 4 GB instead of the ordered 8 GB.
I returned the product the same day, and got the return exactly 14 days later

Terrible customer service
Ordered 3 items in the same order through their website for the same address.
When I made the order and was reviewing it I noticed that the delivery address on 2 of the items was an old one that I left in my address book (different city as well). Having in mind that I have selected a preferred address and a preferred courier office to pick my items from.
Thus two of the items were sent to an incorrect address and I needed to pay an additional delivery fee to have them with me.
In the meantime, I contacted Emag support and was told that there is nothing they could do to change the address and I just need to wait for the courier to get in touch with me and notify them to redirect the parcel.
Complained to them on the website as well - no contact with me for now.
The site is okay to use, but if a problem occurs they are totally useless.

This is a Bulgarian site that sells a variety of items. Some of the goods are dispatched direct from the manufacturer and the rest are dispatched by emag. The items are of good quality and delivery is swift. I have only awarded the one star as they ask you to leave comments about the items. However only positive feedback is accepted and can only be about the product not the service in general (website, goods, delivery etc).
