It was OK, but dissatisfactory.
The process was easy to navigate, very slow with log in codes, and my prescription was never sent to my local pharmacy.

I tested positive for COVID on a Saturday and rather than have to wait at a medical walk in for an appointment, I was able to access the care I needed right from my computer. Paxlovid was called into my pharmacy and ready for me the next day. So easy!

I thought it was supposed to help me get treatment, meds. There was back and forth with a doctor, a glitch with customer service but ultimately, I was able to find a doctor on my own.

EMed = Useless
EMed are awful! I paid £60 for a phone call with a Dr Natasha Malik as i was stuck in bed with cronic back pain. I waited 2 hours after reciving a message that she was running slightly late, at which point i rang EMed to be told she had 1 patient in front and i was next. Another hour later i rang back to ask why she still hadnt phone me, to be told its to late now and she probably won't call this late in the day! No one cancelled my appointment, they strung me on all afternoon, and now I have to wait for another day to see a GP and also wait however long to actually get my money back from this useless company. I'll never use them again.

80yr old left without transport for cancer test appointment
My 80 year old mother needed transport for cancer tests at the local hospital and it was booked with Emed and confirmed.
She was ready at 6am as instructed & her appointment was 8am but no one turned up, a neighbour was able to take her but she was 15 mins late for her appointment.
Thankfully the hospital still fitted her in, but she was very upset and stressed for what was an already a stressful time.
When she complained later today, told that her they did turn up and no one was at home, likely because they turned up at 8.07am when her appointment was at 8am.
I don't live local and my mother is as independent as she can be, so wanted to arrange this herself but going forward for the tests she may need to have, I wouldn't risk using this company again.
I hope they do read this and send an apology to my mother, using holidays as an excuse is not what she needed to hear.
Absolutely disgusted with the service, rather lack of she has received and suggest the company reviews their communication procedures so other patients do not receive this poor treatment.
