Emerald is an extremely innovative and customer-driven company. From the process of designing and ordering the guitar to communications during it's manufacture, they did everything I needed for it to be a very satisfying experience. Did I mention that I love the guitar and everyone who sees and hears it is awestruck by it's beauty and sound. I couldn't possibly recommend Emerald more highly than this. I truly believe it represents the future of guitars.

This is my 3rd purchase from Emerald Guitars, and the experience is fantastic. Communication with their sales team was great. Shipping was tracked safely all the way to Australia from Ireland. The guitar is amazing, tone, playability and finish is superb.

I now have 20 Emeralds. Yes, they are that amazing. No need to keep in a case or humidified. They stay out and ready to play when I wish. They sound amazing and are gorgeous as well. Absolutely perfect guitars.

I really loved the 3-D builder it worked great it took four months before I got my guitar and the anticipation was painful I must admit but the guitar is well worth it thank you

My new baritone x20 is the most amazing guitar I’ve ever seen or played. It came out even better than I could’ve imagined. My mind is blown. The builders and crew at Emerald are the best in the world.

Cons: order took nearly 5 months to receive custom guitar, less than ideal communication.

Pros: the guitar is beautiful, the guitar sounds beautiful, comes with a top quality soft case and handmade coffee mug, (from what I can tell) build quality is perfect.

Overall: I'm very satisfied with my purchase and experience.

The overall experience was very good, especially the end product. The guitar is phenomenal.

Shipping updates would have been helpful, I had absolutely no idea when the guitar was going to arrive and a signature was required, luckily a neighbor helped out.

Kevin, the sales representative, was a good & timely communicator for all the questions I had which is really important when dealing with a country & company that is 3,000 miles away while not having the actual instrument in your hands. It's a leap of faith. It worked!
The USPS worked extremely fast and well.
I had to change the B string upon the guitar's arrival as it had a kink or hump in the string near the saddle.
I then changed all the strings to D'addario custom light gauge which for me is easier to strum and pick out individual notes without losing any sound quality.
All in all , good experience.

Good company and a great product

Everthing from start to finish was handled perfectly and professionally. I dealt with Caolan pretty much the whole time,( design to finish and shipping ). This guy was so good about returning emails, sometimes within minutes, and very complete in his responses. Guitar came to my house in just under 2 weeks. (X20 woody) I am breaking in the guitar at a gig in 2 days. sounds great acoustically and plugged into the Bose L1Pro 32. So far every thing on the guitar is completed as you would expect from a high end guitar. ( fit, finish, set-up, and playability ). Looking forward to many years of enjoyment out of this one! Excellently constructed. Wonderfully easy to play fretboard with the stainless steel frets. Clawless construction with great attention to detail. Big rich deep sound with good volume. The color combination on the veneer is truly excellent.

This is my second X20, albeit a custom build one. Anyone who live in the tropics who owns any wood guitar have to put up with humidity issues. The different coefficient of expansion and contraction of the woods, which affects the tone in a very bad way. On the hand the carbon fibre guitar X20 is not affected by weather changes and gives a very pristine pure tone live that cut through the mix especially in various live situations both amplified and unamplified.

I bought a used X-30 a while back and loved it so much, I ordered an X-7 from Emerald Guitars. Great ordering experience from Emerald, great communication and an amazing guitar!

I like the guitar but it has a slight buzz going on. Not sure how to remedy that.

No muss, no fuss. The guitar I ordered using the 3D builder arrived on schedule and plays excellent and sounds excellent. I'm very happy. I tip my hat to the people at Emerald Guitars for a very fine guitar!
