Changed the charge after I got in the…

Crooks - Changed the charge after I got in the car as I had an extra suitcase. Upped the fee from 98 to 140 pounds for one extra bag and the driver was bad tempered and foul. Also told me it was cash only on arrival - called head office and it was a lie. Plus he charged extra for airport drop off but put me down on double yellow lines not near the trolleys. I : will never use this service again

i booked a car to pick up a parcel and when the driver came i told him to come pick it up
but he started swearing at me like i have never had

they have bad drivers
they never come out to help a passenger
they will always be rite
the customer has nothing to say there
i would not recommend this service to anyone

Uncomfortable Experience

I booked a job taking 11 passengers from Stamford Hill to Luton Airport at 4am today I made it very clear we have 9 big luggages + 9 trolleys + 2 buggies the controller who took the call set a price £121 + £5 waiting time + £3 for every additional stop & I agreed to this, it was acceptable, the controller didn't mention a word that additional fee is pending in accordance with the time the loading is going to take, on the contrary he explicitly set a £5 waiting time, as the driver arrived at the airport he demanded £153, the agreed price + for the time it took to load the luggages, I tried explaining to the driver & to the controller who took the call at the office that this additional fee was not mentioned at the booking on the contrary the price was clearly set & this is what the agreement was, had I known that a meter was set to tick how long the loading takes I would have never hired Emes, an argument broke out & a new meter was set to tick how long the argument is taking warning me that I'll have to pay additional £1 for every minute, the time got late the passengers had to make it they shouldn't miss the plain so they unfortunately had to leave the driver without paying because he refused to take the price that was agreed without the additional price he charged, from now on they have to make very clear at the time of the booking all the expenses the passenger might be charged for, I feel misleaded & being trapped the way they handled me.

Horrible experience really bad controller.

Called a cab and driver was already outside my home, when I explained that the cab was too quick as they usually take a while to come, I was told i will be charged for waiting time and if I cancel the cab I would have to pay a cancellation fee, which is unheard of as far as I'm concerned then the controller called me and he was very rude, he insulted my intelligence because if you don't agree with him then you must be stupid, I tried to explain to him how I saw the situation and that he could just cancel the cab and send another at a later time he then said time is money and if you don't pay the cancellation fee then you will be blacklisted from using our services, this controller does NOT know how to deal with customers and should not be allowed on the phone, I have used this service for a long time taking countless expensive journeys and now I am blacklisted because the controller did not have the patience to deal with me properly, horrible service and honestly they only got 1 star because there was not an option to put 0 stars, refrain from using this cab company, p.s this review will stay up until I am contacted with an apology.

Horrendous experience …

Booked a car the night before via the app. Booking was accepted. Car did not arrive on requested time. Despatcher said it will be 10 minutes late. But that was a lie. Called back and he said another 10 minutes. Lie number two. Called again and when demanded to know what was going on, I was told they are really working hard to find me a driver. I asked how long that will take as as I am running really late and otherwise will have to take an Uber. Was answered that I'd be best off taking an Uber as it will be minimum a further 10 minute wait. This is absolutely atrocious and disgusting. This car service thinks they can send you a car 30 minutes AFTER the Booked time?? Horrendous. Of course I cancelled and took Uber. This has now caused me to end up arriving late to work and I will have money deducted from my wages.
If Emess were unable to fulfil my request within time, they should not have accepted my booking in the first case, or at the least been honest, transparent and upfront with me and Called me to let me know, thus giving me the option to cancel earlier on, instead of repeatedly lying to me.

Looks like Emess are seriously trying to push away customers.

For the record, this is NOT the first time I have had such an experience with this car service.

Price was increased whilst way to airport

I've used Emess taxis many times..This time however I agreed a price, a larger car turned up and whilst on way to airport was told price was about 25% more. Giving three stars as generally good but changing price without warning is bad practice.

Terrible service

Booking made for 7pm from N London to Heathrow. N
Called them at 6.55pm to check and was told car would be arriving in a few minutes. Ditto at 7.10pm. Car finally arrived after 7.25pm! In conversation with the office not a word of apology - seems this is their normal way of working. Would give 0 stars if that option was available!

The worst car service and big liars

The worst car service and big liars. I have to always wait ages I can barely get a car on time and they tell me it will be here in 20 minutes and then after 20 minutes they tell me another 15 minutes making me very late for work.

Very poor service

Very poor service. Driver arrived 3 hours late after calling and being assured would be there in 30 minutes. No customer service. Phone handlers hang up phone as they can't sort it. Terrible.

No bother to work for them as a…

No bother to work for them as a driver,very cheap fares,traffic area,lots of speed bumps in the area,don't give deposit to them u won't get it back unless u work 1 month,only work with them short period and left.

I'm absolutely appalled by Emess Car…

I'm absolutely appalled by Emess Car Service. We had a flight at 6:20 from Heathrow so we booked the car for 2:45. The car did not come until 4:00, insane! Every time we called the dispatcher he/she was dishonest, rude and kept on saying the car will be in any minute. I spoke to the drive directly he told me the dispatcher only gave him the job at 3:40... A shame and disgrace! At 4:00 when the driver arrived he said there is no way we can make it, he took us to Manor House statiion rather than the airport... Miracle upon Miracle that we caught the flight but of course because of this hassle our suitcases arrived afew days late.. Good Ridance to Emess Car Service, all I can say is every time a new car service opens in Stamford Hill, the owner of Emess (as a control freak) buys off the new car service so that he shouldn't have any competition... It's about time this company realises how terrible their service is both the drivers are complaining non stop and so are the customers. We look forward to the closure of this company and grand opening of a relible, honest and puntual new car service... coming soon;)

Very bad service do not make your trust for oppointments

For the 4th time and this time costing my wife £175 And not being seen making my reservation in advance with you I have always been let down by Emess car service terrible terrible service I lost my long-awaited appointment booked the night before to be on time in morning you Never turn up on time the car is coming he’s around the corner then when Driver arrives he says he has different job another driver is coming you make a joke from us don’t answer call when I called back every morning I have to hold forever in the queue I want you should know that I will never use emess car service again and hope New car service should come and we should all support

Very bad service

Very bad service, i booked the car to 2 *** RD and after waiting a half an hour i received an SMS saying my car is outside 2 *** RD, when the driver called me i explained him the dispatcher's mistake, so he told me that he can't come and that i should rebook a new car, when calling up to rebook they told me i'll have to wait another hour for a new car, And that's besides the rude and unhelpful dispatcher.
