Dressing the table is something of an art but it reaches a whole new level at Christmas: our Festive Pomegranate Large Dinner Plates, 10.5 Inch, are for festive feasting at its very finest. After all, pomegranates are known as the fruit of the gods and were upheld in ancient times as a sign of life, health, and fertility.
The rich, jewel-like colours on this litho-decorated plate invite you to create an opulent tablescape. For dinner parties and Christmas Day itself, think beyond traditional Christmas fayre and instead consider lobster and scallops, beef Wellington, roast goose … You could even add fresh pomegranates with slender white candles in their little crowns to place on the dining table beside each pomegranate-decorated dinner plate.
Get set for a banquet worthy of Olympus.

These dinner plates are absolutely beautiful. The rich pomegranate reds, fresh green leaves and warm cream background create a wonderfully balanced design, both festive and suitable for everyday use. I particularly appreciate the generous size and the way the decoration frames the food without overwhelming it. They have a charming, traditional character that makes them equally suitable for a family meal or a special occasion. One of the loveliest Emma Bridgewater patterns I have purchased!
