I purchased the tricycle for my kids… and got injured.

I purchased the tricycle for my kids and I. Later less than 6months after, I sent this email to the company.

I was just in an accident with the Bull Trike with my children on the back. I was going up a small grade and it toppled me over BACKWARDS, clotheslined me and launched me to the ground behind me.

I am only mentioned this cause I followed all the standards and regulations for this bike. My kids even meet the weight requirements and under by quite a lot. The counter balance on this bike needs to be fixed or someone let alone a child will be killed by impact of how fast I went over backwards while going uphill.

Thank God my kids had helmets on yet this was not only a slight mistake in misjudging the capabilities of the bicycle but also a huge safety concern for the design of this bike as it is directed toward families with children. Yet the design itself puts children in danger. Children cannot even be on the bike without the front wheel pulling up due to weight distribution. It makes no sense... and then this accident happened where I was just launched because of the lack of counter balance and no weight in the front.

I included a photo of the hill. It is LESS than approximately a 5% grade.

I hope you can recommend something I can do with this design to make it safer for my children and I.

I received no response.

The ONLY reason this is a two stars is cause I genuinely liked the idea and the bike was a freedom I never had, just the design flaw was not a good introduction to the ebike world.

I love my Emojo Bull

I love my Emojo Bull! So much more than expected. I have a difficult time choosing which vehicle to start my day in and honestly, this trike wins vs my car 98% of the time. As the holidays are fast approaching I'll leave you with this little tune...
"Come and trim my Christmas tree... with an Emojo E Trike light blue, just for me. Please and thank you for a hitch rack too and a back long bench would be so great Boo!
Santa Baby... Please hurry down the chimney tonight!"
Loving every ride on my beautiful Bull E Trike
And turning heads from the masses to compliment congratulate me with friendly praise. Feeling pretty great in this moment.

dealing with a fraudulent company that refuses to honor a warranty refund,

Companies should provide friction-free returns if they want a good reputation. Why offer a 30-day guarantee? If you're not going to pay the refund. I complied with rules and requests, everything is documented. & we can't get a refund to save our lives. $2500 wasted. It will end up costing them much more than this, even if the only thing I get is to save somebody else from having to endure what we've been through. They can write whatever they want about me and make excuses but we have proof of everything that has happened. I would have loved to give them a great review as a small company doing business Nationwide. Maybe internationally? I would love to see them do well but they are dishonest and not trustworthy. We have proof and screenshots of everything from delivery to return, return, sign for and accepted tons of emails back and forth. Yet we can't seem to get a refund. Currently we have a fraud claim and dispute with our bank. I can't wait to see the excuse they type in here for why they're not refunding our money. FedEx told us that most of their customers tell them that they are issued a refund as soon as the return is accepted. Not the case with these people. I am one of the fortunate people that has a friend who's a lawyer in Los Angeles. A very good lawyer by the way. I wanted to give these people the benefit of the doubt. I would not do business with EMOJO. If I had read the reviews for customer service ahead of time. There's a very sweet girl in customer service. She is doing her job and that's all she can do. I would not hold her responsible for the company having poor ethics & work practices. When dealing with a fraudulent company that refuses to honor a warranty refund, you should seek the help of a consumer protection lawyer. These lawyers specialize in cases where businesses mislead consumers or violate consumer protection laws, including those related to warranties.

Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service ever. Company screws you if anything is wrong on their end. Does not honor their satisfaction 30 day return, 1 year warranty, or their veterans discount. Ended up not refunding over $750 for a inoperable trike they sent.

Terrible, Terrible Buying Experience

UPDATE 14 February 2025.
No response to my cancelation emails. Seems this company's tactic is to ghost their customers. (I decided to email instead of calling so that I have a written record of my contacts. They were very responsive to emails pre-sale, so I'm sure they receive emails.) I am a customer, btw. I already own a Caddy Pro with an extra high capacity battery. But I bought the bike from Sierra Ebikes. We'll see how Goldman Sachs/Mastercard makes out with my charge/cancelation dispute. Watch this space.

UPDATE:
I have written email to their cs at emojobike.com and support at emojobike.com email addresses to cancel my UNSHIPPED orders. I expect them to honor the request, and I will be taking all actions necessary with the credit card company, Better Business Bureau (surprise surprise, they're not accredited) and with an attorney. Anyone else interested in sending a legal shot across the bow, please get in touch.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:
Buying direct from the company via Emojobike.com is utterly terrible. I received incorrect email address (yes, really) and incorrect information about assembly (none is available despite initially being told it was and being quoted their $200/bike), and no tracking information. They did, however, manage to bill my credit card.

I was told my TWO orders would ship in a day or two after placing the order. That was a week ago. And,using the utterly useless Shop app which they supposedly use to give shipping information, I can find nothing more than acknowledgment that the orders were placed.

My Apple Card has been charged for both. (I'll probably be calling to dispute the charge.)

This company's internal systems are set up for them, not for the customer, and this customer at least, is left terrifically disappointed with the company. I will not buy from them again.

Save yourself hassle and buy from a physical retailer. Or maybe send a stronger message and take your money to another company--Ebike companies are a dime a dozen these days.

I spoke with Quan and a woman at least twice each after exchanging multiple emails. They're pleasant, I'll give them that. Truly. Unfortunately though, nothing they said or apparently did has resulted in what I needed -- basic product information, accurate assembly information, shipping/tracking details, and of course, two bikes that were actually delivered.

Unresponsive customer service
My bike arrived in a damaged box 4 days ago. The frame was sticking out of the end of one of the cartons. The paint is chipped. I took pictures and immediately emailed them to emojo. No response. I called and left a message, and I got no response. I called the next day and reached an actual live human, and she said that they needed more pictures. I sent more pictures and got no response. So I called and left a message again and got no response.
I have a $3,000 tricycle that can't be assembled and no ETA on a replacement frame. Not having anybody call me back makes me think they're trying to extend the delay so that 7 days go by, and I can't return it.

Great ebike!

I rented an Emojo Panther Pro for the day at a local bike shop. I enjoyed the bike so much that I bought one. Before I placed the order, I went to several other bike shops and tested other brands, both more and less expensive. Emojo turned out to be the best fit for me. It is easy to pass my leg through the bike, the throttle is spunky and the pedal assist works well. The only thing I would like is a trip odometer. It shows me the total miles traveled across all trips but does not give me a count on just the current trip. I'm still learning all the bike's features, so the feature may exist but I may not have found it yet. Overall I would highly recommend this bike. The battery range is excellent and everyone loves the turquoise color.

fast delivery, but some problems

Got the bikes fast. that was great.

No instructions on how to put the bike together, not so good.

Not getting a reply when I emailed for printable instructions, really not good.

It is a good thing my son is a mechanic and has his own tools as the tool kit that is part of the kit is not appropriate or useful.

Please keep in mind that not everyone has a "smart" phone and are unable to "scan" the QR code for the instructions.

Please make a copy available on your site in PDF or other printable format.

Pro Tip: for those that are DIY, you will need a metric wrench set (8-17mm), metric hex key(Allen wrench) set,box cutter/knife, side cutters, vise grips/pliers, small Phillips (P1) screwdriver and a 3/8 blade flat tip screwdriver.

Ordered metal fenders for 26x4 wheel

Ordered metal fenders for 26x4 wheel. Shipping was fast, packing was Excellent! Fenders are better than the ones I’m replacing. Nice rolled edges all around and little flare at the end. Very happy with my purchase!

Purchased a electric bike from an authorized dealer, but wanted to ad something new and unique. I gave them a call and went to their OC distribution center and they made it so easy in helping me upgrade to my requests . No hassle easy going company.
