I have never experienced such a level of incompetence from a courier company operating in a city like Dubai.
I have been waiting two full days for a simple package delivery. Today, knowing I am leaving Dubai tomorrow for three months, I personally called EMX customer service and clearly explained the urgency. I was explicitly told — “100% sure, it will be delivered by 9:00 PM.”
Based on that assurance, I stayed inside my hotel room from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, canceling plans and wasting my entire evening, waiting for a courier that never showed up.
No delivery.
No follow-up call.
No explanation.
No accountability.
What makes this even more shocking is that Emirates NBD, a leading bank that promotes premium service standards, chooses to work with EMX — a courier service that demonstrates zero reliability and complete disregard for customers’ time.
In a global city like Dubai, where efficiency and professionalism are expected, this level of service is unacceptable. Broken promises, poor coordination, and a complete lack of respect for the customer.
If this is the logistics standard attached to one of the UAE’s top banks, it seriously raises questions.
Extremely disappointing. Completely unreliable. Absolutely unacceptable.
