I came to Enable Driving School as an experienced driver (license granted in US in 1988) and had already been driving in Scotland for several months on my foreign driving license. However I felt very insecure driving in a new country and knew I needed an instructor to help me understand the different road rules and ways of driving. I also had to accomplish passing a UK driving test before May. Paul got me on his calendar right away despite having a very busy schedule and was able to work with my availability. He first assessed me driving independently then we focused in on the areas where I felt the least confidence. He was patient and funny and encouraging and very thorough in his instruction. After a month of lessons, I successfully passed my driving test first try. But even more important than that, I feel confident and safe driving and in fact have shed some bad habits I have acquired over the years. I am so happy with my experience and grateful to Paul, Christina, and Stephen for making this such a positive experience.

I approached Enable with a lot of frustration from slow progress in my driving despite multiple previous instructors. Paul, my instructor, within the first few lessons clearly identified my weak spots in skills and confidence and provided focused and adapted teaching to my specific needs. This boosted my own confidence immensely and within a couple more lessons I was test ready! Passed few days ago and I could not be more thankful! Incredibly patient, skilled and adaptable instructors. Would recommend Enable to everyone I know.

I was taken on with enable driving through the disability scheme from the very first step in the door I was made to feel welcome and comfortable I was talked through the process and immediately taken on the roads .
I was assigned the instructor Paul and couldn't of asked for more he made me feel comfortable and confident picking up on issues and helping me fix them in a way that worked for me with each lesson booked plenty in advance and never let down, thanks to Paul and his team at enable I was able to pass my driving test with a high level of confidence in myself and my ability to drive. These guys really are a fantastic company to go with in my opinion and experience, I look forward to the day my daughter want's to learn and I can send her in there direction with complete confidence in there graft.

I approached Enable after completing a self referal to Driveability Scotland who suggested I move to a left foot accelerator due to progressive weakness in my right leg.
Paul (one of their instructors) took me on straight away within the week.
He was kind and considerate from the off. He recognized the loss of confidence that disability brings, and encouraged me to take back belief, and learn a new skill.
He himself is a very skilled driver, which makes you feel you are in very safe hands.
The team were all very encouraging and they all helped me win a positive report that I can now send to the DVLA. I am so glad I used them. I now feel accomplished in my left foot driving skills.

Many thanks to Paul and Christina at enable driving school for getting me through my test. Brilliant instructor, patient, professional and kept my nerves in check. Fast and efficient communication from the office when booking lessons and my test. Passed first time, would recommend.

Paul steven done a great job helping me giving me all the help I needed and with extra help with theory test on Monday night there cars r brilliant to learn in can’t recommend them enough

Stephen was very supportive and understanding. He made sure the lessons moved at a pace that suited me and I never felt worried. Thanks so much to all the team (and Pebbles!) for all their help and support in getting me through my test first time.

Highly recommended! Stephen and Paul really helped me learn very quickly the way of the roads. They are both very kind and easy to get along with.Not all Christina was super helpful in getting my lessons and test sorted so thank you for everything. Couldn’t have done it without them!

Paul is an amazing instructor who took into account my autism diagnosis and helped me to pass a few days ago. His approach of helping me remain calm when unforeseen events occurred was crucial to enabling me to grow more confident as a driver. I would recommend him to anyone who wishes to learn how to drive but especially to those who have disabilities or are neurodivergent. Thank you, Paul.

Paul taught me to drive 20 years ago and I loved my lessons so it was a natural choice when my son came of age. My son has Asperger’s so struggles with new environments and challenges, but Paul has supported him along the way with nothing but encouragement. I can not thank him enough or speak more highly of him.

Enable Driving school was so helpful with booking lessons and test and were flexible if needing lessons moved. I had a great time learning with Paul and he is an easy guy to talk to and a great driving instructor.

I had been searching for ages to try find a driving school suited to my needs and I came across enable.. Best decision I ever made.. Not only did Paul understand me from day dot he made sure he was patient,calm,considerate and reassuring.. he made me feel at ease even when I was getting myself all confused.. i don't think without all his help and determination I'd have gotten a pass.. but I'm super happy to say I did and i cannot thank him and the team enough.. yous are all amazing definitely would recommend wether you are disabled or not they make the experience one you won't forget.. once again thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️

I feel so lucky to have had Stephen from Enable Driving School as my instructor. From day one he was patient, supportive, and genuinely cared about helping me become a safe and confident driver. He always believed in me, even when I doubted myself, and his encouragement made such a difference.

Stephen has a wonderful way of teaching — calm, reassuring, and with just the right touch of humour to ease the nerves. Passing my test today wouldn’t have been possible without him.

I had Paul as my driving instructor and I honestly Couldent have asked for a better man to teach me very calm and clear. The app that comes with learning is great good reminders for lessons easy to use and set up 10/10 recommend this group highly.

My daughter has passed her driving test with Paul. Paul has been very supportive and understanding. Would highly recommend Enable driving instructors limited.

I needed a few lessons to switch to adapted driving having become disabled. Paul was absolutely fantastic. I hadn't driven for 2 and half years due to a long process with the disability benefits system. Paul was an excellent teacher and helped me to develop my confidence in just a few lessons.
