I was looking for a musician for a private event at short notice, the site is very easy to navigate and most of the musicians have several videos so you see them performing at past gigs, within 5 minuites of my request I had several to choose from with clear pricing.
Sam from Encore was extremely helpful and professional in helping me with my request and all online.

I booked paulina the saxaphonist for a surprise 40th birthday party on Saturday 13th November. She was a pleasure to engage with, was extremely helpful and she was amazing on the night. She helped us make amazing memories for my husbands party. I would highly recommend Paulina 😊

Booked Lovely Hudson for party in Peterborough 13th November, excellent communication from start to finish, she performed a fantastic set all evening which had all our guests dancing and singing along to her fantastic voice, a very professional act from a start to finish, 5 stars would not be enough for this performance, highly recommended for your event, thank you Lovely

Firstly just a note to say that I do know the team behind Encore - so I'm bound to be a bit biased :)

Nonetheless, I'd like to say just how much of a lifesaver the platform was for me and my friends.
It was my friend's 30th birthday so we wanted to gift her something special... but as usual left it till the very last minute.

My friend had booked herself a spacious private room on a pub in brixton so we thought given how much she likes music, it would help take this party to the next level if we booked some live music - but we were adamant we wanted it to be a surprise.

We submitted an enquiry through the platform and within an hour I received 3 quotes, messaged them explaining we wanted a bit of an "undercover job" and within just a day we booked this amazing singing guitarist called Mary Grace Dineen.

She joined the party with me pretending to be my friend - and as I distracted the birthday girl, Mary Grace swiftly set up to sing and surprised her by starting the set as soon as she walked in. Her expression was priceless, she absolutely loved it!

Thank you Encore for helping us find the perfect musician and Mary Grace for making my friends day even more memorable!

I've been working with Encore for about 4 years and that's the first time having such a bad experience .
A client who left a %100 positive review failed to pay encore (base on what support team say :the payment card failed to transfer the fees)when I asked the team so how are you planning to take the payment after more than 1 month of due time for paying off they just said We pay yo once they pay us!
Is''t it embarrassing? they actually make you ask yourself then what exactly are you doing in between? Only taking the interest from both parties?

I booked two bands with Encore and ended up with no band booked by this company at my event, despite having the extra insurance after the first band cancelled one month before.

Jack and Tee (acoustic duo) cancelled informing me that they had a wedding to go to on the day of my event, only one month prior to the event. I received minimal assistance in finding a replacement as I hadn't taken out the Encore insurance. I was able to find and book Christina and Harry (acoustic duo) who said they could play at my event. I was informed the day before the event that a band member was unwell and could not play. A member of the encore team was on hand on this occasion to help me find a new artist, however this was too late and I was able to secure one before they managed to.

In fairness I have received a full refund and some additional money for my hassle, however I must leave this review as despite booking in advance to ENSURE a band played at my event, I was left with no band from this company. Highly disappointing.

The site is easy to navigate . We soon found out singer for our wedding .

Bloomfield Avenue were incredible at our wedding. Joe (band manager and drummer) was so accommodating in the build-up to the big day. They even learned a few songs that weren't on our list, including our first dance. The day wouldn't have been the same without them, and I'd have no hesitation in recommending them. All of our guests commented on how good they were as well. Thank you for everything!

Well the booking process was easy, some of the musicians need to put a much better video together. My choice was easy to select because she has put in the work to be selected. Just waiting for the day to arrive and hope my wife loves the performance.

What a brilliant night!
The guys were perfect for our party of 35....lots of irish songs, and we even had our own dance competition.
Personable, fun and sounded awesome. Harmonies really lovely.

Sam Badgery makes sourcing and booking entertainment the easiest process in the world. I came to Sam on Thursday asking for urgent support on sourcing a Trio or Quartet violinist performance for the following Monday. He gave me 6 options by close of play Thursday all within budget and available to travel to the Hotel.

We booked Live Lounge Music and they were amazing! I would definitely book them again.
Howard was really helpful, the whole band were so good and the singer has the voice of an angel!
