Disgusting

Disgusting. Have been trying to get a refund as my account is well in excess of what’s needed. Every time an excuse. Claim No up to date meter readings although registered on the website. Claim emails not received. AVOID

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

We went with Robin Hood after they sent a "salesman" to our door, admittedly this should have been the first sign of how terrible this company actually is.
We were on pay as you go meters, they wanted to fit a smart meter, we allowed this, the team were unable to fit the gas one correctly so we ended up with a standard gas meter that we needed to set up a monthly bill for.
Contacted them again, and again and again to set up a monthly payment. Wasn't possible apparently (I have the last 3 of these conversations recorded)
Had days off work to wait for their 'smart meter team' to arrive (3 times) they never turned up, 1 visit they sent photos of our front door claiming they did come, wasn't our front door!
Moved out, contacted them for a final bill, was sent one for £500+ for 7months! We were paying maybe £50 max the previous winter months.
They refuse to provide a breakdown of bill to show how I owe this amount.
I have now made a complaint with the energy ombudsman and I implore anyone having issues to do the same.
Honestly never dealt with such a terrible company, they seem to have absolutely no idea what they're doing, proof positive by the fact they've had to be bailed out by the government!
The bill has now been sent to debt collectors instead of someone actually having the balls to contact me and ask for payment (had zero contact with robin hood)
As it stands I've been advised to pay by a 3rd party I have hired to deal with this, which I will be doing shortly.

Avoid them, please trust the reviews, trust me and AVOID THEM.

Still waiting for new account after 2 weeks

Had to get a temporary account set up with them because the place I moved into had them - before I switched over to a real energy company. These guys couldn’t even set up a new account. No wonder they’re going out of business.

Bad customer service AVOID

Such a bad customer service. I called twice to ask for assistance cause I had moved to a new build and they told us that the provider is Robin Hood. So I called up trying to get it setup. Not patience at all, rude and rushed me, not to help, but to like push my to call elsewhere.

I haven't even joined their company and their customer services are terrible, they don't even try and help. They sounded like they wanted to quickly end the call.

All fine until you have a problem

All fine until you have a problem. My payg meter went blank i phoned up to inform Robin hood they sent out out an engineer who somehow rebooted it leaving me with my credit showing so was happy he took a photo then left.
A month later the same thing happened screen blank could not see how much credit was on it i phoned again thinking this time they would just change the meter as obviously something was wrong with it. They informed me they are going to charge me £75 pounds for the first visit as they say nothing was wrong with it.
They asked me to take a photograph of the meter this time showing it was blank which after a lot of hassle i did they then phoned me about half an hour later to tell me it was not good enough they now need a video at this point i had about lost it with the person on the phone as they had already asked for a photo. So after more aggravation i finally managed to send a video pressing the blue button showing it does not work. yes you have guessed it about another half an hour went by they phoned again saying it was not good enough as i was pressing the button they wanted another with me holding the button down saying if i didn't send another video they would not send out an engineer. As you can imagine this sent me over the top and a few choice words were said.
They eventually sent out an engineer who took the old meter away saying its finished and he changed it to a smart meter which they should have done in the first place . When i told them i am not paying the £75 pounds they just looked at the engineers picture after he had finished they could see saying he could not reboot it but he did somehow not even asking for my side of the story or believe me to the engineers defence he only tried it so i didn't lose the credit on it.
So why not ask for a picture for the first visit Robinhood i will certainly not be paying the £75 pounds i will take it all the way.

Today I tried using Robinhood Energy…

Today I tried using Robinhood Energy App and Website to give them my Electric Meter Readings but was unsuccessful as the both devices did not recognise my account number so had to use the webchat thankfully that worked and was able to give my Meter Reading as I am in the process of changing energy supplier. Also when they contact you by phone or mobile it’s clear that they are not reading the information that I provided since I am Deaf and Mute how can I communicate verbally by telephone or mobile are the staff robots or just clowns? I’m glad I’m changing energy supplier, Robinhood Energy Account Number 506864055. Mr A Snook

I was with robinhood energy for about 2…

I was with robinhood energy for about 2 years, I decided to stay with them so that they would change my prepayment meter (Gas) for a smart meter. They kept promising but never ended up changing it, so I ended up changing to edf who not only swapped my gas prepayment meter within weeks of me being with them but also swapped my electronic meter too. And payed me back what was left on the prepayment meter. I am still waiting for my credit back from robinhood. Don't think I will end up getting it as it's been ages since they promised to send me a check .

Robin Hood energy STAY AWAY

Robin Hood energy STAY AWAY
I am a disabled lady who is still getting harassed by Robin Hood energy. I believe them to be fraudulent. After changing my service provider to Scottish power (who are exceptional).
After Paying the amount that I was stated. They now want another £300 plus. . They harass me with text messages, telephone calls, emails.
I have stated that I want them to send me all invoices from when I started with Robin Hood to when I changed my service provider. Plus all correspondence dating to estimated meter readings , plus warm house discount scheme.
I think we should all contact the ombudsman, plus television programmes I.e Martin Lewis money program,

Business department has been shut for months

We have been trying to get hold of the business department for months now and it's shut! There is no response to our email enquiries or to our complaints about this!
Really not sure what to do as it's been going on for months now and as we have multiple business accounts to simply not be able to get in touch or get a response is very disappointing

Robbing Hood Energy carry out the…

Robbing Hood Energy carry out the billing on behalf of Sussex Energy. Avoid both.
My final bill was not based on my final readings but their inflated estimates. This means that they make money every time someone leaves them and me, the customer, can do nothing about it.
DISGUSTING LOT OF COWBOYS.

Robinhood renaged on their contract

I joined Robinhood energy last yr . They promised monthly billing and it was happening and the contract they sent me said monthly billing.
I didn’t receive a bill for June and I contacted them and it took e mails and trying to speak to someone to ask why am I not receiving my bill.
I received an e mail from Dave Holt Customer Service he replied about 11 pm he said billing is now done quarterly as they no longer have the facilities to do monthly.
I pointed out the contract they set up with me which I was happy with said monthly billing.
Robinhood have renaged on their contract and if I leave I have to pay an exit fee!
I wouldn’t recommend this company.
I have reported them to OfGem

Robin Hood energy is the worse

Robin Hood energy is the worse, unreliable and expensive company to choose. They will not live upto their word and will alway charge you more than what you agreed upon. Regularly they will increase your tariff. And if you decide to change provider, they will send you massive final bill which will never make any sense. DO NOT CHOOSE ROBIN HOOD

Change of billing

Have been with them for 6 months. Suddenly I stopped receiving requests for meter readings. I contacted Robin hood and was informed they had changed to quarterly billing. Would have been nice if they could have BOTHERED to inform me. Customer services are helpful and friendly, but I am not happy with the changes they have forced on me.
