The air conditioning was extremely cold, and my seat was in the corner where the cold air was concentrated. It got to the point where my fingers were completely numb, and I struggled to move my hands properly. I kept trying to warm them up during the test, but with the strict timing, it was difficult to manage. I raised the issue around four times during the exam, but I was told there was nothing they could do because it’s a central air system. I believe sitting in the corner made it worse

Lovely experience
Lessons are well planned and technically executed very well. I'd love to see a higher variety of topics (also business related) for the last level. Some teachers are very motivated, some others not that much but they are all professional and prepared.

Level of English in clasess
I truly enjoy the classes; however, the British Council should ensure that all students within a class have a similar level of English. I have participated in sessions where the overall level was quite low, making it difficult to practice effectively.

Friendly and adaptable
For me, the best part of the British Council classes was the interaction with real people from all over the world, and the great flexibility and availability of the private classes. Even with the group classes, it was fairly easy to find a suitable slot, considering I had to prepare within a very tight timeframe.

The current application lacks adequate…
The current application lacks adequate guidance and support for users seeking to acquire knowledge. It appears to be primarily designed for the purpose of generating revenue through a monthly subscription model. From the moment of registration, users are obligated to pay for the entire month, yet they receive little to no assistance. It would be beneficial for the application to incorporate an administrator responsible for orienting newcomers and providing direction on how to achieve their goals. Unfortunately, the primary focus seems to be on monetary gain rather than delivering meaningful value to users. Moreover, the graphical user interface is not user-friendly. Therefore, I cannot recommend this application.

We take feedback like yours seriously and are currently working on better ways to support and guide students, especially when they first join the platform. Recently, we launched a guided platform tour for new students to help them navigate the features more easily. Also, our Welcome videos function as a helpful tool for new students. Those videos can be found on the “Home” section, and they will guide you on how to get started with the course.
In addition, we will soon be introducing Welcome Sessions in the form of live webinars to provide clear orientation and help learners make the most of their course from day one.
Regarding our monthly plans, we’d also like to highlight that students who select the Gold or Platinum plan receive a 7-day free trial. During this period, they are not charged and receive 2 free class credits - enough to attend 2 group classes or 1 private class and test the course. The first payment is only processed after the trial period ends.

I didn’t like
I didn’t like. I don’t think the courses are well-structured. When I had a one-on-one class and I was the only student, the teacher seemed to be in a rush. The class was supposed to last until half past, but he said he was in a hurry and ended it at 28 minutes past the hour. You can imagine how that class went…
In my opinion, it’s expensive for what it offers. The teachers aren’t really engaged, and the group classes with people who don’t attend regularly or just ask random questions are pointless. You don’t really learn anything from that.
I genuinely tried to give it a chance and see how it works, but I definitely prefer traditional tutoring with dedicated teachers here in Romania.

Regarding group classes, our flexible course model means students follow individual learning paths, so you may not see the same classmates every time. While this offers freedom to study at your own pace, we understand it can feel less structured for those who prefer a consistent group.

Some teachers just read the slides, which makes it discouraging to risk using your credits.
On another note, a suggestion would be to offer more exercises on the platform as a complementary resource.
