Very difficult to do business with Entanet

I've been reselling Entanet for 15 years. I'm now moving all my accounts away from them because it's so difficult to reach them. Their website doesn't list a phone number and instead directs you to a complaints form that forces me to select options that have nothing to do with my problem. If I call billing, I get a phone menu where the only relevant option triggers a loop, and if I choose an irrelevant option, the call is redirected to EE (the mobile provider). I finally got through to tech support and they said they can't fix their website or internal phone menu. I requested connection to billing, but the woman in billing refused to deal with any of the problems reaching billing claiming it's not her problem. A disaster of a company.

After many years of no problems I get a problem and Entanet fail miserably. Out of the blue my account stopped working. I called and got though to tech support who I thought would help. They tried a few things got the account sort of working but it no longer took voicemails nor did it show the number that had called. Tow things I have had for 10 years and need. The tech support guy just emailed me to say its probably I bug and I am not compelled to sort this for you. He did offer me the chance to make a complaint if I wasn't happy!!!! This I have tried to do. Four times over several weeks I have tried to contact them, I have the standard 4 x ref numbers. Then after a few days of not contacting me I get an email to say the case is closed. Its ridiculous. I still have not heard from anyone!

Awful service for VOIP

Awful service for VOIP. No one knows how to support it. I've spoken to managers and they are useless. I offered to show my issue to them on a whatsapp video call but they refused. They aren't bothered about supporting their customers. We had an issue that we cant transfer calls to others, you'll see another review on here about this. What's worse is that this is a year old and they havent even bothered to fix or look into it.

We will now be looking to move all our remaining clients off their platform, that's around a £600 per month bill plus an order in progress for a leased line of another £450 - You're about to lose £12'000 per annum. Alas, I know my issue won;t get fixed and some other unlucky person will find this post when it's too late as I did.

Complete bunch of amateurs

Complete bunch of amateurs. They have no one who knows anything at all about voip. All issues get escalated to technical support which is a black hole. No one ever gets back to you, no one ever fixes anything. I've spent countless hours on the phone to their support and customer services during their transition to their new platform last year. I have been in the IT business for a long long time and I have never come close to experiencing a project so badly managed, they should be ashamed of themselves. I have lost good customers due to Enta's shambolic performance and have subsequently moved all my services to anothe rpovider. I hope everyone does the same and they go out of business. Don't be fooled by the City Fibre rebrand, nothing has changed.
Stay clear at all costs.

This is one of the worst ISP's i have come across...and i deal with BT. The support guys are friendly and helpful, but if anything gets escalated to their second line or (NOC) you might as well forget it. You have to chase constantly for updates and notes don't seem to be passed between engineers. We have a case open for packet loss on a PWAN (leased line) circuit which has been open for nearly 2 weeks without a resolution. I have contacted customer services who are offering service credits, but that does not compensate for the 500 staff who are experiencing issues with their phone system. Mind you at least customer services actually replied this time, the last couple of times i engaged them they didn't!

Avoid at all cost. Entanet is so bad they will be going bust very very soon.

Avoid Entanet VOIP services at all cost. I'm surprised they are still in business.

Data breaches on their old platform.

Utterly useless and un-userfriendly new platform.

Since the move we are no longer able to transfer calls between extensions.

They don't allow us to call countries like France, Cape Verde and Vietnam.

Tech support that takes over 15 minutes to answer a call.

EntaNet - What a Shambles

What a Shambles
EntaNet is a total mess. Used to be good but now they are very bad. Do not use under any circumstance.
They have been hacked on their VoIP and hosting sides but never told anyone and even now their technical support denies it when asked directly. They were running very old versions of WordPress and PHP and so an attack on their hosting was inevitable.

They planned to close down their platforms and never told me us until just a few weeks before the shutdown. They said they had cleared out their mailing database for GDPR and it was a mistake they had deleted us even though they were billing us each month. Just shows the poor quality of their management. Their new platform does not work with industry standard equipment and they have no idea why. Their technical support can not be contacted and most of them are clueless on VoIP. Their Development Team are in hiding. They had not tested their new platform before making it live. What a shambles.

They have no idea about porting numbers to a new provider which is no wonder as have poor records of what numbers they are responsible for. They are so slow responding to porting requests I wonder if there is actually anyone there.

Our company has been a customer of EntaNet for 22 years but I can not move to a reliable trustworthy supplier soon enough. It has now wasted so much of our time trying work with this failing operation.

Professional and Reliable Service Provider

Having been a partner of EntaNet for a number of years, I have found their services to be of exceptional quality as well as their customer service being professional and reliable.

I would certainly recommend EntaNet to any business or enterprise looking to build a partner relationship with a reliable networking and communications service provider.
