Total scam

Total scam. Stayed in one of their rooms for 1 month 8 months ago and havent gotten my deposit back - despite contacting them over and over through every possible channel. They keep giving you the same excuses as they have absolutely no intention of paying you back - try to waist your time redirecting you between departments. Dont waste your time staying here of you will end up paying more than double for one room. Also if they have also detained your deposit dont waist your time and go straight to the court as I am about to do. They will try to dodge every other amicable attempts. Best of luck.

AVOID THEM. I'm still waiting for my deposit after 7 months

I'm still waiting for my deposit refund since September 2025. I waited a lot and sent multiple emails to them. I even tried to reach their office in BCN but there is no one there that can really help me.

This is the story: My contract ended on July 31th, and I waited 60 days (by contract 60!!). Then, I received only emails with bullshit stories about internal issue ( that is not my business).

I will attach the typical email I receive everytime I ask for the refund.
----------------------------------------------
Hello

I hope you are OK!

I sincerely appreciate you contacting us again, and I completely understand your frustration with the delay in refunding your deposit. I offer my sincere apologies for this inconvenience, especially knowing that a considerable amount of time has passed since the deadline.

I understand that the refund of your deposit is a priority for you, and I assure you that it is also a priority for us. We want to be transparent about the cause of this situation:

Unfortunately, the current delay is primarily due to staffing constraints we experienced during the holiday and summer period. This is a time of year when we also handle an exceptionally high volume of move-outs and new leases, which has led to a significant backlog in our processing queue.

Although the bank transfer process is simple, each one requires manual verification and approval, and the high number of outgoing tenants has caused our list of pending refunds to become very long.

I reiterate that we are working tirelessly to catch up. Your case is prioritized, and we are doing everything humanly possible to complete the bank transfer as soon as possible.

We will update you when the transfer has been completed.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while we resolve this situation.

If you have any additional questions or need clarification, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Have a great day

-------------------------------
Hello,
We hope you are well.

We are writing to express our sincere apologies for the unusual and prolonged delay in returning your security deposit.

We are fully aware that this process has exceeded the stipulated deadlines and understand the frustration that this lack of response has caused you. Our goal is always to provide prompt service, but unfortunately, due to an exceptional administrative peak and internal validation processes, we have not met your expectations on this occasion.

We would like to inform you that we are working to resolve the internal issue we are experiencing, and once the operation has been completed, we will send the bank receipt directly to this email address for your peace of mind.

We greatly appreciate your patience and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this delay may have caused to your personal plans.

I remain at your disposal for any further questions.

Have a nice day.

NO DEPOSIT

NO DEPOSIT
I moved out on 22 of december, by the contract I waited 60 days to get the funds back, however it did not happen. The company refused to send me an INCASOL number (place where all the deposits must be by the law). I waited for a month and sent them a burofax (an official complain letter) - it also did not work. Here and on Google Maps reviews there are plenty of people in the same situation.
Because of all this I had to file to the court. We will see if I get any improvement on my case. So far it's been 3 months without my money and the final document signed by both parties stating that they owe me the deposit in its entirety back.

AVOID

Update:
over 3 months have passed since I finished renting with Enter.

When I was out of the country they terminated my lease early and effectively forced me out of the apartment. In the process of doing this, they lost my belongings. They have NOT provided any explanation of what happened to my belongings and refuse to engage on the issue.

My deposit has not been returned and I do not expect it ever to be returned.

The only engagement I had on any of the above issues was with a manager called Bruno. He abusive and threatening on the phone. He screamed down the phone at me and then hung up.

I cannot stress to anybody reading this - DO NOT RENT with this agency.

A total catastrophic experience in recovering my deposit refund.

Entercoliving is now 23 days overdue on my deposit refund of €900, which they are contractually obligated to pay.
Despite contacting them multiple times—including the CEO himself—the only response I receive is that the "financial department is busy."
It appears Entercoliving's administrative practice is to reinvest customer deposit refunds immediately, while failing to schedule payments within promised deadlines. When I raised this issue, my complaint was disregarded as a "small customer problem," forcing me to wait indefinitely.
This administrative protocol is unlawful and shows total disregard for contractual obligations.

!Entercoliving, you are legally and contractually obligated to refund my €900. I expect immediate action.

Deposit Withheld Despite Signed Settlement Agreement – Legal Action Initiated

I am writing this review to formally document my experience with Enter Co-Living in Barcelona.

I rented a room for two months and vacated the property at the beginning of September. On September 11, after delays on their side, I was provided with and signed a “finiquito” (settlement agreement). This document clearly confirmed that there were no damages to the room and that my deposit would be returned within 60 days.

The 60-day deadline passed on November 11. I did not receive my deposit.

Instead, I received a generic email citing “internal administrative backlog” due to the summer holiday period. Since then, I have sent multiple follow-up emails requesting confirmation of payment and a concrete repayment date. I have received no substantive response and no timeline for reimbursement.

To be clear:

There were no damages.

A signed settlement agreement confirms the amount owed.

The agreed repayment deadline has passed.

At this point, the continued withholding of my deposit is unjustified and constitutes a failure to comply with a signed contractual obligation.

As a tenant, any delay in rent payment would immediately result in penalties or enforcement action. It is unacceptable that the same standard of accountability is not applied when the company owes money to a tenant.

Due to the lack of resolution and absence of meaningful communication, I have initiated formal complaints with the relevant consumer protection authorities and am proceeding with legal action to recover the funds owed to me.

If you are considering renting with this company, I strongly advise you to ensure you fully understand the risks regarding deposit returns.

As of today, my deposit remains unpaid. I will update this review once the matter is resolved.

Absolutely unacceptable keeping my deposit !

Absolutely unacceptable. I still haven’t received my deposit back after four months. Every time I follow up, I get a new excuse and empty promises, but no actual refund. At this point it’s clear they’re just stalling. Keeping someone’s deposit for this long with no resolution is completely unprofessional and frankly scandalous. If you value your money and your time, think twice before dealing with this place.

Avoid Enter Coliving – unprofessional, dishonest, and unreliable

I strongly advise against booking with Enter Coliving. My experience was chaotic, stressful, and financially damaging, and after more than a month they still have not honored what they promised me in writing.
My situation started with an Airbnb booking that was cancelled because of a double booking caused by Enter Coliving — a double booking they knew about before I arrived. This left me effectively homeless in Barcelona.
They called me and told me to take a taxi to their office, assuring me they would cover the taxi cost and help solve the situation. After waiting for around 2 hours, they offered me another apartment, which I booked through Idealista, still managed by Enter Coliving.
I then took a taxi to the new apartment — again promised they would pay for it — only to arrive and discover they had given me the wrong keys. Worse, they gave me keys to my roommate’s private room, not my own, meaning I couldn’t access my room at all.
That night I waited over 2 hours for a response before they finally told me to book a hotel and promised they would pay for the hotel and arrive the next morning at 10:00 with the correct keys.
The next morning I was there at 10:00.
No one showed up. No message. No call.
After 4 more hours, they replied saying they couldn’t come and told me to book another hotel night, again promising reimbursement and saying they would be there at 10:00 the following day.
Once again, I was there at 10:00.
Once again, no one arrived.
At 13:00, they finally called and said they could only come in the evening. I ended up waiting until 19:00, 9 hours later than promised, just to enter the apartment.
When I finally got access, the room was uninhabitable:
The bed was completely broken in half, with the mattress leaning against the wall.
At that point I told them this was unacceptable and that I would cancel the room. They simply apologized and again reassured me that all hotel and taxi costs would be reimbursed.
Now, over a month later, despite:
All receipts provided
Clear written confirmations on WhatsApp (at least four times) that they would reimburse me
Multiple follow-ups
They have not paid a single euro.
Instead, they now deny responsibility, blame Airbnb, and even try to blame me because Airbnb issued them a small penalty for cancelling my long-term stay.
This is not professional behavior. Promises were made repeatedly — in writing — and then ignored. Communication was slow, unreliable, and misleading, and the handling of the situation showed a complete lack of organization and accountability.
If you value your time, money, and basic housing security, do not book with Enter Coliving.

Deposit not returned after 3 months – Enter Coliving Spain

I stayed with Enter Coliving from August 25 to October 30, 2025. Upon checkout, I left the room in better condition than I found it (including making minor repairs and cleaning). The finiquito was signed on 05/11/2025 and the final agreement on 10/11/2025 confirming no damages and a full deposit refund of €700.

According to the contract, the refund should have been processed within 2 months (by January 10 at maximum). However, it is now February 10, 2026, and I still haven't received my money. After initial issues with my non-EU card, I provided alternative Spanish bank details of a friend on January 15, 2026. Since then, the company has ignored all my messages and gone silent.

This behavior is unprofessional and borders on fraudulent. I strongly warn others against booking with this agency.

Very unserious and unprofessional company

TLDR: EnterColiving does NOT deliver on what they promise, and there is little respect to issues when they happen. You have to insist on getting problems fixed that are supposed to be a given by their contract. Make sure to have a contract clause to deduct from your rent in case of issues, they don’t respect the tenant or the contract. (Read below if you are interested in various situations that happened)

I stayed in their apartment for 4 months, but I wish I could have left earlier (I was not allowed).
Everything they do is very personal (not professional). The viewing over the call and ad showed a different place than what I signed (even the ad showed spaces I never had access to in the apartment), and I only got to understand when I arrived that I wouldn't have access to what the pictures were showing. Then many problems and situations: 1) I couldn't enter the apartment because the app didn't work, luckily it was not a weekend or nighttime 2) The building had two elevators, no guidelines were sent about where to go. 3) I had to wait outside the apartment for 1 hour until someone showed up to fix the app/door. 4) The hot water mechanism was broken and an electric mechanism for warm water was installed, causing risks in the electrical network. 5) My automatic window blinder got stuck and I couldn’t open or close, they ignored me for 2 months before sending someone to fix it. 6) The apartment cleaner many times didn't come without any reason. 7) Spontaneous visits (less than 24 hours notice) happened and interrupted me during work calls to the point that a person blocked the door with his foot insisting on entering the room while I was still in a work meeting. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful. 8) The worst, the ad for the room shows parts of the apartment that I never access to, see my pictures on my Google review. This could easily be considered a scam. The announcement displayed common area with a balcony. None of it was accessible to me.

Claudia (salesperson) ignored the questions I asked when I faced the apartment not being as it was in the advertisement.

Vanessa (support) was the only person who had professional behavior during my stay. She tried to help as much as possible despite the chaos.

The prices are exorbitant for what they gave me (about 790 euros for less than 9m2). Literally taking advantage of workers from abroad who are desperate for a place to stay. I would never recommend this company to anyone.
