They helped me but at a cost
They helped me but at a cost. I had two parts of my shower stop working (less than 1 year and a half old). They responded quickly but nothing covered under warranty. Both parts had to be paid for. One part I can understand but the other part was a clear defect and still had to pay to replace. Part came and it doesn't work so need to return again and organise replacement. Would'nt buy from them again.

I purchased several products that were supposed to arrive within 48-72 hours, but they took 12 days. Even though they hadn't met the terms and conditions of my purchase, they charged me almost €50 for shipping. When I contacted them, they told me there was nothing they could do and wouldn't even refund my shipping costs or part of them.

Quality of the Richmond bathtub and accessories is what we expected.
We ordered a Richmond slipper-style claw-foot bathtub with the recommended fittings and tap set. So far, we are impressed with the quality of the tub and accessories. The tub material is very thick and appears to be flawless. All the parts came well protected. The claw feet are heavier than I expected and feel like they will certainly do the job. The only minor criticism I might have is that the underside edges of the rim are not rounded off as much as they could be, so they have a bit of an uncomfortable sharpish feel when you grip to get out of the tub (but not enough to cause any injury). We haven't opened the box yet for the tap set, but based on what we've seen to date, we believe it to be good quality as well. Unfortunately, we are having to wait several months before tile work, plumbing work, etc., can start and before we can enjoy our tub. But will we ever enjoy it when it's ready!!!

The initial ordering procedure and help was actually 5* BUT their transport sub contractor was 0* as they would not phone accept emails and GPS co-ordinates. What personally annoyed me as a retired MD an employee of BANO was prepared to give me a refund when I complained about the transport company. No I did not want a refund I wanted my bath. A companies service is only as good as it's weakest link.
