Service with an attitude!
Service with an attitude!
Drivers with a huge chip on there shoulders! Would rather argue with you than collect your waste. Will not collect if the lid is slightly raised or they wont take any loose waste, even if agreed on the phone prior to collections. Customer service team do not listen to you, and will add on huge surcharges if you challenge them.
No joint communication cost me 25 quid
This review is about the only thing left to have a poke at Enva Scotland, giving there terrible reputation it's just another avoidable rant
I was happy enough with my service until I got asked for yet another 'duty of care' payment that most of Enva's competitors no longer charge. I decided to move and called to cancel my service, the company picked the bins up within a couple of days and I thought that was that.
After a couple of weeks they sent an invoice for bin uplift which was impossible since bins were gone!
I thought maybe they just need to catch up with paperwork but unfortunately they never sent a final remittance but instead I received a e mail from a collection agency! No warnings nothing.
I phoned and asked why didn't they just send final remittance? I wanted my deposit back and or a final bill. The reply as follows.
My client has advised the recovery costs of £25.00 is still applied under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. My client has advised they sent statement’s to the email address’s they have on file every month. My client has also advised that they did not know anything about you leaving until they started to chase you for payment.
Therefore, the costs are still due to be paid. Could you confirm your payment intentions for the balance of £111.75 in order to settle the matter and prevent any further legal action.
WHAT! They never knew I cancelled my bins even though they lifted them after I called them!
Quite simply unbelievable 🤯
Good by Enva yet another monolithic company without joined up communications. I've paid the bill to save the hassle with the 25 quid charge. Never again.
Small Businesses beware - they will rinse you dry
See review in March 2023. This issue is still outstanding plus more with total now due just under £4000. They only action complaints and reports with continued reminders that you will take legal action.
Morag seems to be the only helpful member of staff in Credit Control but I get the impression that she is up against it with complaints and a backlog of work, mainly because operations are useless and don't know how to write, manage or run the contracts they offer their customers. Thankfully we are with a very good company now, which on paper costs a bit more but in reality are cheaper because they bill me for what I actually use - oh and they havent missed a pick up since we started, unlike Enva who would miss your collections then charge you for their missed collection PLUS the day they eventually show up!
Angry aggressive site worker
Office staff great when arriving but once on site to collect you get bad attitude from what he calls himself “yard supervisor”. I drove off site as didn’t want to get loaded by this angry man (just in case he damaged my vehicle in anger), he then followed me off site threatening me. Will never use this company whilst he is working there.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Erratic collections, don't turn up when they are meant to. Tell you they couldn't get access and charge you for no collection. Awful to deal with.

Whenever I talk to them it’s always nice, & understanding. A promise to sort it out They never do..

One of the worst companies to deal with. They just don't care about waste collection, there is no communication between drivers and the office staff,it looks like the drivers are running the show and nobody can do anything. They turn up if they want to and not if they dont want to.I wish I could give them no stars but it won't allow me
Terrible service
As a construction company we require a lot of skip exchanges and when we are told a date by enva, then we expect that to happen, to be told it’s Friday, then they don’t turn up, then told it’s Monday morning!! Again doesn’t happen , then after four emails, to be told , Tuesday morning… and yet again doesn’t happen,, there are plenty of skip companies, DONT use this one .. Drivers lie about access to bins
Drivers lie about access to bins, caught on cctv picking up on wrong days but office deny they did, charge extra for “overweight” bins, office staff do not update drivers with info so they dont collect, tried five time to make a formal complain over three months and no one gets back to me. Sub-standard service and serious lack of customer service.
