Miss Obi provided excellent, professional service
Miss Obi was wonderful throughout my treatment, from the early consultations right through to my operations. I was extremely anxious and almost reluctant to go through with the surgeries, however Miss Obi went over and above to settle my nerves, adapted my treatment to overcome my main worries and showed genuine patience and understanding.
She made me feel that my wellbeing was important and I felt in very safe hands.

A most pleasant experience.
When I had an eye test and was told I had cataracts in both eyes and I needed surgery, I was terrified, as anything to do with my eyes just and me not want to have any surgery.
From my first appointment with the Consultant Miss Obi, right through to my final follow-up visit I was treated with the utmost professionalism, kindness and respect.
Miss Obi and all members of the team were extremely dedicated, reassuring and attentive, which made what could have been an anxious time a very positive experience.
I am truly grateful for the high standard of care I received and for the skill and commitment shown by all involved.

I also had my first eye operation on 15th August.

Miss Obi - laser eye procedure.
Miss Obi performed a cataract / lens replacement procedure on me in February 2024 on the NHS at the Royal Gwent. I was extremely impressed with her professionalism, empathetic demeanour and not least amazing surgery skills. When I needed laser eye treatment on both eyes in July, I decided to see Miss Obi privately at St. Joseph’s, Newport as I needed urgent attention.
