Cancelling my membership because these…
Cancelling my membership because these folks are liars. When I enrolled, I told them I had 16 grandchildren. The salesman’s response was oh that’s great cause you can bring five guests what years later I tried to bear two guests both grandchildren and they told me I could only have one therefore I’m canceling my membership. Thanks to Serena on Stefanie St. Did you know no managers work the weekend? Also per Serena.

EOS accounting error caused me $125 in service fees. Instead of honoring their mistake I was told I needed to pay $125 in added fees because of “denied payments”, after going into the location every month saying you have the wrong card and updating the form of payment they still said I was responsible for their error! I’ve been trying to cancel my account for four months now and they won’t let me. They send me around to multiple locations and even the district manager won’t get back to me. Nina Castor needs to be fired!!!!!

Got my exercise CHASING them for my refund
I’ve been left chasing EoS for accountability. Despite repeated outreach, I've received silence, delays, and automated brush-offs. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau — and still, I am waiting for a complete refund.
To stop the ongoing charges and protect myself, I had to cancel my credit card and involve my bank. If you've ever had to cancel a card, you know what a pain it is — updating payment info everywhere, waiting on replacements, dealing with disruption across accounts. It’s a headache that could've been avoided with one ounce of integrity from your team.
Yes, I get it. I’m just one person and you spend more on pencil erasers than what you owe me. But EoS was built one person at a time — and the way you treat this person matters.
Mr. Ross, Ms. Nicole Ryan, Mr. Kennedy, Mr. Drengberg, Mr. Morello, Mr. Idgar, and to each of the TSG Consumer Partners, you're one person, too. EoS isn't fitness. It's people. You have truly forgotten that!
Beware
Beware! Theh changed my membership and rate by 33% increase without permission. Read all the other reviews before entering any contract. Shady.
I am an Eid gym member and was charged…
I am an Eid gym member and was charged twice membership fees and when I called the billing department/cancellation this Indian guy literally heard me for like 30 seconds and then told me to hang on he will call back and hang up and never called back, I’m like omfg did he just do that ? 9179979031 that is he number
Shady billing tactics and Fake Customer service …
I joined this gym because of a promo that said “Pay $1 today, get 30 days of membership.” It sounded like a great deal. But just two weeks in, they charged me a full month’s subscription and added a $64 annual fee that was never mentioned. That is not 30 days for $1.
The worst part has been dealing with their staff. They act friendly until you actually need help. I’ve been calling for over two weeks trying to speak to a manager. Every time, I’m told “they’re not in” or “they’re on a two-week vacation.” No one ever seems to know what’s going on.
When I ask if the manager will be in later today, I get responses like “I don’t know.” How does no one know if their own boss is coming in? Is this your first day?
When the manager finally reached out, she never followed up and didn’t respond to any of my emails. It’s clear they don’t take customer concerns seriously and hope you’ll just give up.
Don’t fall for the gimmicks. This gym is a mess with dishonest billing, fake-friendly staff, and no accountability. There are better gyms out there that respect their members. Stay far away.
Don’t trust what they tell you
Eos is a great gym and I’ve been a member for almost 5 years but my recent experience with this GM has left me conflicted on whether or not I will continue to refer my friends and family to join. This is the Rancho and Craig location that I’m referring to!
My family just moved here from Hawaii and wanted to join. I referred them to join eos because up to this point I’ve really enjoyed it. I stopped at the desk to ask questions about the family membership and Trey was there to assist. Long story short, I ended up signing up 5 new memberships for my family because I believed it was a better value than separate memberships. Trey assured me that the old memberships would be cancelled and no annual fee would be assessed to the old memberships because we were cancelling before it was due. That didn’t happen! We got charged for the cancelled memberships and the new memberships, double dipping. I spoke to Ramiro Rodriguez the GM and besides talking over me, he also said that he couldn’t do anything about being charged for the cancelled memberships because they have a 30 day window to cancel old memberships, which Trey did not inform me about. Even after I told Ramiro this, he still brushed me off which I told him is bad business hygiene.
Out of frustration I told him to let me know what the solution to my dilemma was before I left this review and contacted above club.
I’ve visited many eos locations and love the amenities it offers but charging me for cancelled memberships is not ok! So for anyone that is thinking about upgrading or changing memberships, keep this in mind because they will unapologetically finesse you into paying for both memberships.
I may or may not stay with this gym but Im definitely not recommended anyone else to join

Lack of experienced Staff
I have been a member since the Lutz location opened and it is my experience that anytime you make a change something gets messed up! I decided to move to a family plan and was told all my amenities would be the same. I switched and lost towel service which was something I used. I went to the opening in Land O Lakes and signed up for personal training but informed EOS that I wanted to remove the service within 3 days, so my whole membership was cancelled. This gym is not worth the hassle! Some of the other area gyms are not keep up well either.
EOS sucks. Absolutely do not sign up for personal…
Absolutely do not sign up for personal training at this gym. They have now made a 4th charge to my card after my making every attempt within their guidelines to cancel. I met my personal training contract payment obligations. Have read that people who tried to cancel it within that first few days of regret Have not had any luck either, but I went ahead and was fulfilling my contract obligations. I have been reassured and numerous times that my contract has been canceled, but in fact it hasn’t and they keep taking charges. I’ve been in the gym to talk to people about it, and this is becoming very frustrating and time-consuming. Totally inept people. I originally tried emailing the corporate office as I was supposed to to cancel a training contract and it bounced back. Next, I got into a phone loop trying to speak to someone. Absolutely do not get yourself into a contract. This is the one in Glendale, Arizona and I think there’s some crap going on there, but I think it is mainly the corporate office unless the people at Glendale are just lying to me that they got something done. Just so frustrating and the trainer they assigned me to is way different than trainers at other gyms. They assigned me to someone who apparently didn’t have any clients and I think I know why. $44 for half an hour of wasted time with this person is insane to begin with. So I’ve paid a lot of money, a lot more than I even contracted for, for a substandard everything.
Thuggish, Predatorial, and a Lawsuit Waiting to Happen!
Thuggish, Predatorial, and a Lawsuit Waiting to Happen!
EOS Fitness attracts and enables thug behavior. – No [false] promotion is worth your peace, privacy, or protection!
Their 30-day free promotion “WillPower” membership is a scam / lie and ultimately RETALIATION TRAP.
They are retaliating against me for not wanting to be victimized. I was ganged up on: followed and given threatened looks from two large, aggressive tattooed beasts who took a picture of me in the locker room ( they are also morons because their flash was on)!
I informed management of being hunt down by the Thugarella Hippos, violated, and that I do not feel safe.
Management completely disregards having a safe gym just to collect money!
I canceled with these thugs within the promotional month in writing!
What did they do? They chose to breach consumer protection laws. I removed my debit card from them and somehow these thugs got a hold of my new debit card – this is financial abuse and they will be reported! How did they obtain my new debit card information?
This is not a gym it is a thug / gang hangout and a Lawsuit Waiting to Happen!
They didn’t even give me a tour or rundown on how they operate or any of their rules – because there are no rules just thugs running loose and wild.
They will never return your calls either!
New to the EOS Gym - Not overly impressed.
New to the EOS Gym. Was looking for a full service gym that I could use multiple locations, as I work in outside sales in Central Florida. Very reasonable price for the amenities. Very nice equipment. That being said, first visit to the Tampa- Dale Mabry location left me questioning my decision. Could use a good deep cleaning. Flooring is just bare concrete, very unattractive. Men's locker room lacks space, and adequate benches to change. Whirlpool was out of order, can't really comment on how long. Pool could use a dedicated "Just Standing Around in the Water Lane", as all lanes were taken with soakers. Sauna is very tiny, and was lukewarm at best. Showers were spacious though, and fairly clean.
Hoping to try the Sarasota location soon to compare. Looking forward to the opening of the S. St. Petersburg location. May have to return to L.A. Fitness if these 2 are not an improvement.
Gym Ok, Not All Managers Are The Same
I initially gave a 1 due to poor customer service. The Gym is Ok but generally crowded so you need to find a good time to attend but it’s not a boring gym so I suppose that’s a good thing. My problem was wrongful charges. The first manager I spoke with basically ignored my complaint resulting in me terminating my $32.00 monthly membership. This was a male manager. I spoke to a lady at the Land O Lakes GYM and she understood my complaint and resolved the issue. I am still waiting on credit of the late charge but all don’t deserve a 1 due to the actions of one manager so just as I was willing to be truthful in the wrong doing, I will be truthful when they get it right.
I will say this. I had provided a primary and a backup form of payment and the Gym is the one responsible for drafting the payment. The customer should not be charged a late fee because the EOS or ABC failed to attempt the backup form of payment in a timely manner. There was fraud on a card that had been closed but EOS had the proper form of payment in the record in a timely manner and before payment was due. However, I can understand that there may sometimes be miscommunications between a company and a third-party bill collector. When this happens, I expect that there will be managers on staff that will take the time to look into the matter and see that the answer is not always well that’s our policy. Sometimes the customer is right and a little common since needs to be applied as was done by the last manager I spoke with.
Unprofessional and Misleading
Unprofessional and Misleading - THE ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE AND I CANNOT CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP.
I don’t usually leave reviews, but my experience at this gym was so disappointing that I feel compelled to warn others.
I signed up for personal training expecting professional guidance and support. Instead, my trainers frequently showed up late, one canceled at 4 AM - only 45 mins before our early AM session, because he was "tired" - showed up late, and even arrived smelling strongly of weed. That level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable in any fitness environment.
I was promised customized workout plans and nutritional guidance but received absolutely none of it. To make matters worse, I later discovered that one of the trainers had misrepresented their certifications. When I addressed these issues, management failed to take any meaningful action or offer real accountability.
This gym is all talk: slick sales pitch, zero follow-through.
If you value your time, money, and fitness goals, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.
Eos Fitness- Misleading Contract, No Support, and Duplicate Charges
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at EOS Fitness (Murray, UT). I went in for a personal training trial and was told I could purchase two sessions for $19 and cancel at any time. I made it clear that I needed to speak with my husband first and that I could only commit to those two sessions.
Instead, I was misled into signing a 4-month personal training contract at $88/biweekly — something I never agreed to knowingly. I was told it was just a trial, not a long-term commitment.
Since then, I have made multiple attempts to cancel, both in person and through messages, especially with Jorge, who kept saying he would “take care of it.” But nothing was done, and no one ever followed up.
To make things worse, I later found out that my membership was duplicated, and I was being charged for two memberships, on top of the personal training program — a total of three separate charges.
I have never completed a single personal training session, and the promised trial session was never scheduled. I haven’t been able to use the services properly, and now I’m stuck with monthly charges that are completely unfair.
I originally intended to stay with EOS and only cancel the personal training. But after this level of deception, duplicate billing, and lack of support, I now want to cancel everything tied to EOS Fitness.
I demand:
• Immediate cancellation of all memberships and contracts
• Full refund for duplicate membership charges and the personal training program
• Written confirmation that no further charges will be made
This is unacceptable, and EOS needs to be held accountable for misleading practices and failing to assist customers in resolving billing issues.
Extremely Disappointed with EOS Gym and Personal Training Program
While EOS Gym has a cool diversity of members across different ages and fitness levels, the gym is overwhelmingly overpacked at almost every hour of the day. It’s clear that the gym prioritizes selling as many memberships as possible without any regard for the actual quality of the fitness experience for their members. It’s nearly impossible to get sets in on machines or even find space on the floor area. What’s the point of having a gym membership if you can’t actually work out comfortably?
This issue feeds directly into the problems with their personal training program. You’re locked into a four-month contract before you’re allowed to cancel, which would be fine if they actually honored their own cancellation process. Their contract clearly states that you can email or write to Member Services to cancel — but when you do, they tell you they don’t accept cancellations that way and that you have to go to your home gym. That’s a clear breach of their own contract verbiage - someone at EOS needs to get it together.
During my training period (4-month contract), I usually went during non-peak hours (after 8 PM on weekdays and after 11 AM on weekends), but even then, the gym was so packed that my trainer and I were only able to use the machines maybe 3-4 times total. Considering I specifically signed up for training to become comfortable using the gym’s equipment, it felt like a complete waste of time and money. If people are paying extra for personal training, there should be a dedicated area for personal training sessions or a clear gym policy allowing trainers and their clients priority access to machines. It’s unfair and incredibly stressful to have to stand around and wait when you’re paying a premium for a professional session. Especially given the training sessions aren’t very long.
Additionally, when I signed up, Clay (the staff member who sold me the package) failed to disclose that the training sessions were only 30 minutes. He described them as being close to an hour or at least 45 minutes — but when I actually started, the trainer told me sessions were only 30 minutes. That’s a huge misrepresentation of what you’re paying for.
Overall, EOS seems far more concerned about chasing money and growing their numbers than providing a quality fitness experience. Between the mass overcrowding, the shady personal training practices, and the total lack of transparency, it’s simply not worth the money or the hype.
I needed to cut back on membership…
I needed to cut back on membership options but did not want to quit. After 4 hours being sent to website, billing office, local gym, told to come back to see manager, told to come back to see personal training manager, then told I couldn't just come in but needed an appointment. When I got upset, he told me he wouldn't help me at all if I didn't calm down.
Billing continues after you cancel your membership
They still bill you after you request to cancel. Dont give them your bank info, as they will never cancel drafts! I cancelled at their facility before my 30 days trial with their on site rep. I was told it would be cancelled but they still charged me $86. When I called the 800# I was connected with an outside billing agency not EoS who offered no help in my cancellation and refund.
Very disappointed in their service, just want to suck your money out if you come or not!
Misleading Contracts, No Transparency – Avoid EOS Fitness
I had an extremely disappointing and unethical experience with EOS Fitness (Queen Creek, AZ location). After being inactive for over 8.5 months and receiving no prior notice, I was suddenly charged an annual fee of $61.34 on April 7, 2025—the same day I went in to cancel my membership.
There was no email, letter, or phone call warning me of this upcoming fee, nor was I given any option to opt out. When I asked about the charge at the front desk, I was met with dismissiveness and unprofessionalism. A staff member told me, “You signed the contract… you do you,” and made no attempt to explain or escalate the issue.
The contract structure feels predatory, designed to limit member rights and quietly push through charges that benefit the business, not the customer. Even though I canceled that day, I was still billed for an entire year of membership I won’t be using.
This experience reflects a serious lack of transparency, accountability, and ethical standards. If you’re considering signing up, read everything carefully and be aware that you may be charged without warning—even if you’re no longer an active member.
