EPHG offer an emergency electrician, plumber, heating engineer that is gas safe. Our business model is to firstly give our clients the best experience in there time of need and to raise the quality of service being given by trying to make contractors do a better job. EPHG currently have over 60,000 clients, 8 staff taking the calls and hundreds of contractors being a national company covering an estimated area of 98%. Even though our terms and rates are available online, we verbally explain the rates, take a deposit, ask our clients to reply to a text or an email in writing to confirm the agreement including rates over the phone before we start the work. If we don't get a written agreement, our clients can ask for the payment to be voided the same day or a refund any other day. Our aim is to raise the quality of service in many individuals with highly trained staff by trying to make sure you don't full prey to potential crooks or unprofessional trades.

Really impressed by this service

Really impressed by this service. Our boiler broke down on a Friday night in very cold weather and our regular heating company don't do 24 hour call out. EPHG quickly found me a brilliant heating engineer who came out quickly and fixed the problem. I'd never have found him on my own. Recommended highly.

Call answered quickly and great service.

Called after 5pm and call answered quickly. We had leak from cold water tank down through lights into bathroom below. Plumber visit arranged for within 120 minutes and he arrived well within this time. Fixed very quickly and full explanation for cause of leak given. Also advised as to DIY preventative measures.
We phoned several “emergency plumber services” none of whom could visit until the following morning. It cost us just over £100 but prevented further flooding of the loft flooring and rafters and the bathroom beneath.
Very pleased with the service.

Made an emergency call at 11:15pm

Made an emergency call at 11:15pm - unlike several others the call was answered!!! After giving details and making call out charge was sent details of who was coming and arrival estimate. Very efficient and kind plumber there within half an hour of the call - immediate problem sorted. Could breathe again - flood stopped!!!

Burglary alarm won’t stop in early…

Burglary alarm won’t stop in early hours if the morning. Electrician out within 40 minutes and resolved quickly. Electrician was polite, efficient and friendly. Great service

Absolute Angels!!

I couldn't fault these guys, had a plumber out in a half hour at 4:30am. I was in a pure panic but Jamie was Amazing!

Emergency electrical repair

Lost supply and was immediately attended to by customer service. Steve came around within 30 minutes and repaired the consumer unit. Really nice chap

Good service and quick response

Good service and quick response. Engineer was very good at explaining the issues and sorting them. Much cheaper and quicker than British Gas would have waited 4 days

Great Emergency Service

If you need a plumber within 2 hours, you won't do better than EPHG. My call was handled efficiently and an engineer was with me in 90minutes, with good communication along the way.

Tap broke and bath was filling with water quicker than it was draining. They responded so quick and fixed it so fast. Excellent service

Just a little hole

I stupidly drilled through a pipe in the wall and got a lovely leak on a Sunday evening. I called EPHG and within 75 mins Adam sorted job quick and was efficient, very tidy too. Spot on job thank you.

Fab Service

I spoke to Adam on the phone, he was extremely helpful & said someone would be out within 90 minutes. Jon arrived within half an hour and was amazing and went above & beyond. Couldn't of had better service from either!

Well Organised and Quickly fixed

Ross gave us a call before heading to us arrived in good time and kept us well informed of the job as it was progressing. Owing to current times, he wore a mask for the duration of the visit and was very polite with us.

Excellent Service.

I needed a plumber for a burst pipe at 0100hrs on New Years Day. I called another company, and the call taker had clearly been asleep, was confused taking details, couldn’t tell me when the plumber would arrive. I couldn’t isolate the mains, so I spent the next three hours catching water in buckets waiting for a plumber who never came.
I called EPHG Ltd and the phone was answered by a cheerful, alert and politely reassuring guy who explained the call out procedure and fee, and arranged a plumber for me; he said they would arrive within the hour.
He also texted to confirm the plumbers a name and contact details, and by the time I’d finished speaking to him , the plumber had all so texted to say he was en route. 20 minutes later, he arrived, exceeding my expectations, and had the problem under control with in minutes. He also gave me advice on how to proceed with the faulty stop cock and further repairs to fully address the problem.
I couldn’t be happier with the excellent service and helpful, no-nonsense attitude displayed by this company. I would highly recommend them and I would suggest keeping their number handy somewhere in the event you experience a similar mishap. Can’t praise them highly enough, well done and thank you.

Great company!

Used ephg for a boiler that was not working properly and had no hot water. They were brilliant! Came out same day. I was provided with the engineer's details which was very reassuring. Engineer incredibly polite and managed to fix the problem,but also gave suggestions for moving forward. I will definitely use them again for any problem i the house. It is so nice when a company does what it says it will do.
