We arrived at what we thought a…cash cow
We arrived at what we thought a reasonable time of 1920 hours ,obviously we knew a queue would be in place , we were about 200-300 metres up the pavement, ok we thought doors open 1930 all good , we finally got to door at 2025 hours , we were then frisked , and prodded with the old metal detector, in we go , wife’s handbag check ( by a male )
We then had to ask whom we show are tickets to ?? As security was well above what I’ve ever seen before!
We in , we climb the stairs thankfully gas and air not needed for our good selves !! We had someone shouting at the top of the stairs! Toilets this way ! Coat queu that way! Entrance around the side of them ! I grabbed my wife and we got by the hat check Queue!
Even area ok we thought , never been there before but ok , we herd like sheep at the bar before we got our first drink the act was off! He was going through his first number ! We were as we found out awaiting to be tucked up ! We got out first drink of which my wife helped me with as I forget my glasses and I couldn’t see , what I had to press ! Thankfully she did or I could have gave the biggest tip of my life !! On payment to be honest I never checked amount ! You know all of you , you are a captured person and you going to have over priced drinks etc !
First drink down mr Lamberti doing well , I venture for a second this time with cash !! I purchased one pint of Stella! £7.80 why bother if you want to Tuck me up let’s at least call £8.00 , then you ain’t got to find the 20p’s and I ain’t got to find them latter ! I did ask bar tender , and to be fair they all worked very hard , as a business man I hope they were on a percentage profit , as it least part of ye profit went to a good cause !! I asked I only want one pint ! He said I know sir ! Well at least politeness was there !!
Anyone not seen rob Lamerti please do he brilliant
