Misleading Subscription Practices – Disputing Charge
The $1 vehicle report was presented in a way that did not clearly communicate enrollment into a $99 recurring subscription. The renewal terms were not transparently disclosed in a clear and conspicuous manner.
I was charged $99 without clear prior notification. After contacting support and receiving no response, I am left with no choice but to initiate a chargeback and file formal complaints regarding deceptive subscription practices.

We’re sorry, but we can’t accept prepaid cards. Please try another card to complete your payment.
This basically means their scummy practice to force people to use their regular credit cards hoping the customer would forget to cancel and gets charged $99 in 3 days. Don't bother with this website. Find an alternative. Digital Cards are not accepted because they are SAFE. Something this website doesn't want you to use. Figure it out why not.

Beware of EpicVIN’s deceptive billing practices. I signed up for what I believed was a single report, only to be hit with a hidden subscription charge of $99.99. What looked like a simple £1 report purchase actually signed me up to a £75/month subscription with no clear or prominent warning during checkout. I raised this with customer service immediately, but they refused to issue any refund or take responsibility.
In my experience, the process is designed in a way that does not make the subscription clear to customers. I would strongly advise others deal with other companies that produce a similar function.
