Resolved issues very quickly and with excellent service.

I order a jacket which when arrived was the right make and model but did not match the picture shown against the product. Equitain were very quick to recognise the issue, looked to see if they could identify the make and model in the picture, to see if they could supply that, and when they couldn't... immediately offered me a free return and refund. I was very impressed with the way they dealt with my issue; and how the responded, even though I really would have liked the jacket in the picture ! As a result, I would definitely deal with the company again, despite the mix up.

excellent customer service

I have ordered a few things now from Equitain. They sell high-end products and their customer service matches this level. They are responsive and answer any questions quickly, they despatch items fast and everything is well wrapped and arrives pristine. Would highly recommend them.

Exceptional customer service

I was incredibly impressed by the outstanding customer service. Not only were they very quick to help with my query but also couldn't have been nicer to deal with and I couldn't recommend them enough.

Poor correspondence and lack of care

Had to keep ringing and chasing my order, 6-8 week delivery ended up being 10 weeks. I had to keep ringing to be told different excuses each time, very frustrating!!

The boots were worth the wait though

Without getting personal I have the receipt that clearly stares in your handwriting 6-8 weeks. I was told on several occasions that you would call me back with updates and this did not happen, I was told that the boots would be in on a certain day and then not called to let me know either way. I had to keep chasing hence my comments in the review. I appreciate that having to rely on the supplier is out of your control

I'm sorry you feel our service inadequate.

I personally took your order in the shop and I did tell you at the time these boots would be 8-10 weeks. We never quote 6-8 because it doesn't happen and there is no way that is what you were told.

In addition, we were incorrectly informed by the UK distributor that the boots had arrived when in fact they were a different pair - something that has annoyed us both.

All through the process we have answered your questions as honestly as we are able given the facts to hand and I know Gemma has had many conversations with you.

We always answer the phone or respond to messages, normally within minutes.

Short of telephoning you each week to let you know they had not arrived I am not sure how we could have made the experience any easier or better.

You were certainly never given any excuses and all our customers can rest assured we constantly chase all boot orders to ensure they arrive as soon as is possible.

All feedback is valuable so I would welcome your comments on how we could improve on this matter.

Not receoved goods

The courier doesn't leave a card saying that we've missed a delivery and I have no idea where my feed is. Equitain have been very helpful when I've phoned to ask for help, but unfortunately I don't have time to chase every day and it would seem that I need to. Sadly I've had to purchase from another supplier now, hopefully my horses food will turn up eventually

Further to our initial reply below the client now informs us that the reason repeated delivery attempts failed was due to them providing us with the incorrect address.


Hi Lesley.

I'm sorry you have had problems with delivery and I know we have been taking this up with the courier.

Parcel force do send you interactive text messages that you can reply to to manage your shipment.

I'm afraid we do also require a signature so if you aren't there they can't leave the parcel.

They say a card was left for you to contact them to rearrange delivery but I know you say you don't have this - which does make matters more difficult.

All of which are matters outside our control.

I believe they are rescheduling the delivery for tomorrow and I hope you receive the items then.

I'm going to pop a free gift in the post tomorrow to apologise for the experience.

I just find website difficult to access properly from my phone!
Wanted to buy a bridle but couldn't find them on site! Doesn't work very well!
Although shop is amazing!!
