So thankful for all the staff at Erdem hospital and my amazing surgeon Dr kadir tasasiz
My patient coordinator (Firas) from the very beginning was so helpful and supportive. Answered all my questions with grace and very promptly even of a weekend. After care is so important especially when travelling abroad and I know this can be reason for doubt when booking but from past experience with Erdem I have and still do receive excellent communication and support post op. I am sure the same will happen this time too. My surgeon dr Kadir tasasiz was very polite, professional and understanding of my needs. He has a lovely bed side manner too which is very important especially when feeling nervous. He gave me his professional opinion about the size of breast implant's that would suit my frame figure and I am so pleased I listened. His work is impeccable ❤️ I am 2 1/2 weeks post op and even though I have much more healing to do I can already say how grateful I am. The staff at Erdem hospital are so helpful and kind from the cleaning staff, to the the nurses looking after me post op. Also I wanted to say how helpful my translator was, he made the language barrier a breeze and was such a genuine and kind man. I will definitely be looking at my future skin removal surgeries with this surgeon! Thank you all
I would also like to mention Professor.Dr. Ali Solmaz who performed my Gastric sleeve. He was very polite, professional and answered all my questions, ensuring my safety was there upmost priority! The staff couldn’t do more for me, making sure I was comfortable at all times. The after care has been phenomenal. I have access to a dietician who has my best interest at heart. I have reminders to have blood tests done to make sure I’m not deficient in anything. There’s also a watts app group that I was added to for additional support from those who have undergone weight loss surgery. I have already recommended this hospital to friends who have been considering this procedure as they have seen how it has been utterly life changing for me, loosing 8st in 12 months. I’m so grateful for the care I have and still do receive from Erdem Hospital, hence having just undergone my mummy makeover here! Feeling safe and well informed is so important when choosing a surgeon/hospital to have surgery at especially when travelling abroad! This is exactly how I’ve felt on both occasions.

I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Gökhan Semerci for my tummy tuck lipo and uplift procedure. He is a highly skilled and attentive surgeon who made me feel confident and comfortable throughout the process. His assistant was incredibly kind and supportive, always ready to help with any questions or concerns.
The nursing team on the 7th floor, Fırat, Gizem, and Yaren—were all wonderful. They showed great professionalism, care, and warmth, making the recovery process much smoother. Their dedication and friendliness truly stood out, and I felt well looked after at every stage.
Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the results and the care I received. Dr. Semerci and his team are exceptional, and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone considering this type of procedure.

Gastric bypass surgery
I contacted and considered a few hospitals in Turkey for my gastric bypass surgery, but Erdem stood out for me.
I particularly looked into Dr Ali, his experience and all the recommendations from patients he’d operated on. I did my homework and decided that he was the surgeon I wanted for my surgery.
From the initial contact with the medical consultant, the countless questions that I had which he had no qualms answering and the attention to detail was fantastic. I decided to book and the countdown was on.
We arrived at the airport, the taxi was waiting and off we went. Arriving at the hospital where a translator was waiting, we had paperwork to complete then we were lead straight to our room to settle in. Tests were then all done ready for surgery the following morning. Dr Ali came to see me first thing to explain what would happen in theatre and off I went.
I could not be happier with how we were treated, the care, the surgery and the outcome. I would definitely recommend Erdem Hospital, particularly Dr Ali and his team. I can’t thank them enough for everything they’ve done for me. Absolutely amazing.

We had a very disappointing experience at Erdem Hospital.
My sister had liposuction and a tummy tuck, and while the surgery itself is not the main issue, the behavior of the consultant, Alina Bejenaru, was extremely unprofessional throughout the entire process.
Before the surgery whenever my sister or I asked questions, she spoke in a rude and disrespectful manner. Her tone made us feel uncomfortable and ignored, instead of supported and informed.
After the surgery, when we contacted her for aftercare guidance, her attitude remained dismissive and unpleasant. Post operative care is a very sensitive time, and patients deserve patience, empathy, and clear communication which we unfortunately did not receive.
Because of this experience, I do not recommend Erdem Hospital, especially due to the lack of professionalism and poor patient communication from this consultant.
