Well, the idea was great, but the embodiment is awful.
The card will only work with one device (you will have to pay to make it work in any another one).
The customer support is bloody dead, I have my open ticket since december 11th 2024, no replies at all. It might be that the company is actually dead by now?
So i just ditched the thing as I now have a phone supporting e-sims.

I ordered 2 SIM cards on January 5th and paid for them. 40 minutes later, on the same day, I cancelled the order and immediately created a refund request on the website. I also wrote a statement to support on the morning of January 6th. No response for 2 days! I wrote again.
Finally, they answered me that I created a refund request TOO LATE and they had already sent the parcel. I placed the order at 11 p.m. and, naturally, no delivery service worked at night. The tracking clearly shows that the order was processed only during the day on January 6th and was sent on the evening of January 6th. That is, having my 2 refund requests in hand, they completely ignored them and rushed the parcel. I think this is absolutely not customer-oriented. This is the first time I have encountered such an attitude!
By the way, delivery of two SIM cards costs 13 euros, a simply cosmic price!

The eSIM card only works in SIM slot 1 of many phones, which does not work with my intended use case.
Subsequently I have applied for a return shipment and was given instructions and a return address. Despite following their instructions, the return shipment was not accepted and is now on the way back to me.
I'm really tired of dealing with this terrible company and their non-existing support.
This sim worked well last year in Italy and when I had a problem they responded with advice. This year however the profiles will not work and the company refuses to reply to three tickets I raised on line. No customer service. My trip is over now so wasted money. Would be easier to upgrade phone so I could use a card free esim. Do not waste your money on this.
Disclaimer, this is a review for the service provided in Yaounde, Cameroon only. Other locations might be better. Bought a card for a trip to CMR, and the setup on my POCO X5 5G was straightforward. I downloaded a test esim profile for my home country in Europe and it worked well. Esim.me only works with select providers, so I bought an XA.AV esim profile from them for CMR. When I landed, the system was a little finnicky, it took me a few tries to get it to work, but it finally did. The provider it uses is Orange. Well the experience was really poor, I rarely had any signal and almost got in trouble a few times for having no connection whatsoever. I had to switch networks from 5G all the way to 2G to make it work. Do not recommend. MTN seems to be the way to go. either an esim provider that works with them, or get a local sim upon arrival. All that said, the telecom infrastructure in the country is not the best, so best if you go with a backup plan.
EDIT: I have been to Andorra with a plan purchased from esim, which allowed multiple carriers. It has worked flawlessly, even allowed me to tether to others. Raising review to 4 stars.
First of all, I am old client and the app worked fine, had about 3-4 profiles and it was good experience.
after last profile setup, I have not noticed, maybe app was updated or something, but it stopped recognizing sim card.
after that, I am not able to fix the issue.
support is useless, 2 tickets, no response.
I would not recommend it now.
Oneplus 10 5g pro
I spent 36 euros on an esim card and 57 on a profile for TMobile. The esim is not recognized by its own app. My phone is a oneplus, so it's compatible. I've placed two help tickets and no one responds. I leave for the US in two days, have spent 93 euros on nothing. There really no way to contact as they write from a no reply address.. I looked up the company's email and wrote there to no avail. My feeling is that the reviews that say it works are a scam. I do not recommend this company at all. I just bought another sim on Amazon, 30 days unlimited data for TMobile at $23.99. Live and learn.

eSIM.me works flawlessly on several of my Motorola phones.
Support is great.
I bought 2 eSIM profiles from their marketplace for a trip my wife had to take by herself. To be safe I bought her one eSIM for her stopover in USA. The product information said the usage period started from first data usage. She activated the SIM prior to the trip and I confirmed she had done it correctly. Then when she had her stopover and enabled the SIM it connected to T-Mobile but it did not give her any data!
I logged a call with their support and it has been 2 days with no feedback what so ever. I wasn't rude. I just asked for help. No answer.
Further to this now the second eSIM is also not working. Still no feedback!
poor support my Samsung didnt recognise the sim card they sent. I raised a support ticket and the support was frankly usless and sooooo slow.
Excellent app, excellent product, excellent adn very professional support.
UPDATE: 1 week later, and no thanks to esim.me support and a huge thank you to Saily I have a service. A change of APN (truphone.com) and manually selecting a specific mobile provider (KDDI) and Saily's esim has sprung into life. It's taken a week to get there but timezones have been a problem, every email took 24 hours for a response, but I always got one and they helped! Still not heard anything from esim.me! Trip to airport to buy an expensive Japanese sim now cancelled. Thanks Saily
I bought a new Galaxy s24 ultra and like all bargains it had a catch - it was the HK version with no esim functionality. Aha esim.me is the answer in conjunction with Saily (as advertised by Saily) I thought. Checked the esim.me app to ensure my phone was compatible and yay it was. Bought the Sim and bought the Saily Japan esim. Then it's all gone wrong!
Esim.me only allows you to scan the Qr in the Saily app. Impossible on the same device so you need to screen shot the QR, send to another device and then scan into esim.me app.
When ready you enable in esim.me app and then the Saily app just springs into life when you arrive at your destination NOT! So you don't know until you get there if it works

It looks like their product is failing. It won't work with some major esim providers, it won't work with Android 13 up or Oneui 6.1 but most importantly their support is non existent.
I don't need this frustration on holiday so going to write this off to experience.

Saily however have been great it's just their product doesn't work work esim.me
So I bought one and tried to connect to holafly but it didn't work. I looked on the esim.me website and it says it no longer works with holafly or airlo which are the 2 biggest providers of esim data. I looked at the plans that esim.me have and they want 180 euros for 100gb! That is insane
Client service does not exist. It only works the first years you buy it then, when you have to change the phone, the sim does not work and the client service does not help you.
I ordered an esim for Galaxy S20 FE 5G and had a Telekom.de esim with QR Code (biggest mobile service provider in Germany). The esim.me app didn't work with the QR code of this service provider and so I requested a refund within the 14 days time limit or help for my problem.
Note: It did work with congstar esim profiles (which is a subbranch of Telekom.de).
Not only did they not help me by providing a fix, they also lied and said that I didn't enter my request in time. They also said that my QR Code was the problem (which was not the case as I could use it with another phone later).
They refused to accept my orderly return and so I had to open a Paypal case. Stay FAR FAR away from this company.
Everything is fine until it isn't. In that case, do not expect any kind of support other than lies and deception and ignorancy.
Be aware, the company and product are not complying with its own specifications. It's doesn't support all eSim profiles - probably only supports the eSim you can buy through eSim.me. The app is unstable, I tried to buy a eSim from from eSim.me, and it was a hassle to get it working, and after a couple of hours it stopped working. No response after a week from there support, even after 3 reminder.
So I can in no circumstances recommend this product, it's a waste of money, a lots of frustrations, but worse of all, now I have no working sim card or phone. I now have to wait until I am back from holiday, to get a new physical sim card.

My smartphone (Redmi Note 10s) is not compatible with an esim. I bought the esim.me sim card to provide the requisite technology. Subsequently, I bought a Maya data esim (15 days 5gb Asia - £11). Both worked faultlessly in Vietnam, Singapore and Malaysia.
Set up was reasonably simple. I loaded the Maya data esim before departing the UK but did not switch to the esim.me card until landing in Vietnam. Thereafter the 4g signal was picked up automatically on arrival in each country. Excellent.
Not stable, sometime working sometimes not! A Few times in different countries I had to buy a local SIM card because the esim .me didn't work. I try to contact the customer and technical service with no success, NO RESPONSED. They never answered me ! Waste of money end time! Please just buy a local Sim card, you can get it everywhere, even in the airport. It is much easier and much cheaper. Don't waste your time on this company
