EssayScam success (students - take advantage of the free research published there!)
A few important things (for a student like me) I found out by researching EssayScam:
- The majority of so called "essay writing services" are run by suspicious people, sometimes criminals, based in third-word countries like Ukraine, Kenya, or Pakistan. The "writing business" is typically only one of the niches they are active in. Some of these services or writers don't even care to provide the service as long as they have the personal data of the student / payer (then they can blackmail him or her).
- Almost all of the positive reviews / testimonials (either in a written form or in a video format) are totally fake. Sometimes it feels that half of the freelance writers hired by those third-word services are in business of writing and publishing fake reviews of their own websites.
- The people associated with the foreign "research" services hack other websites and it's actually pretty dangerous to even visit their websites; since they are located in countries which are not under the Western systems of laws, anything goes and the customer (students) would often pay a high price for using these services.
- High quality costs money. The best essay writing services who work with native-English speakers have to pay them enough. In result, a company that charges less than, let's say, $30 per page is almost certain to use ESL writers who often cannot come up with a coherent, error-free sentence (not to mention a research paper or a dissertation).
- The inadequate services and ESL writers spam the social media websites like crazy. But it only proves they have no business in writing English papers or doing homework for a student located in the UK, US, Canada, or Australia. If you think logically, what a Ukrainian or Kenyan "research writer" will ever have to do with New York or London? Nothing.
- The actual physical location of a research service is crucial (that's why most of these services lie on their pages about their country of origin).
- From what I've experienced, there are only a few genuine US-based and a few genuine UK-based companies. Only a few out of a couple of thousands websites! (go figure). The third-word services have created thousands of fake brands to spam google, facebook, and twitter with their fraudulent claims.
I guess that's all and should be enough for a prospective customer to realize that it takes time to figure out who is legitimate and who is not. EssayScam.org is the ONLY legitimate resource that allows that. There are some copy-cats (for example on Reddit) that try to mimic EssayScam success, but these are all fakes and a waste of time (in my opinion).
