Absolutely incredible service

Absolutely incredible service. A leak, coming up through the road outside my house, repaired within hours on a SUNDAY Quite a big job and required several technicians.
Since I have experienced issues with water pressure from my hot tap and Essex and Suffolk water are sending a plumber to find out what the issue is. I know that by rights they are not obligated to do this.
All of their staff both in the office and on the ground have been absolutely A+. I cannot fault them. And ……. you are actually able to ring them on their mobile numbers and get straight through. None of this ‘computer says no’ nonsense.

We've now had a few visits from the company that have been prompt with problems honestly explained and not once have we been fobbed off to have to find out everything for ourselves as seems common these days.

As a property manager we have had many occasion to call on Essex and Suffolk and their service is always fantastic. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, a rare thing nowadays unfortunately.

I am moving and the buyers solicitor…

I am moving and the buyers solicitor wanted odd information about water pipes. Initially the lady i spoke to was warm and friendly and I found her customer service to be very helpful! She listened to my dilemma and this showed when she went over and above to solve my issues! When the engineer came to my house (literally the next day) he again was super helpful and showed his expertise when helping me in a very professional and friendly way! All in all a really great positive experience with Essex and Suffolk water!

Excellent service from the first phone…

Excellent service from the first phone call to the lads doing the work. All polite, friendly and left the pavement cleaner than when they arrived. I called with an issue and within 24 hours it was dealt with. Also they decided to replace the stopcocks externally to future proof the job. Thank you 👍

Replacement water main

After a fault was reported with our water main, Essex & Suffolk Water organised a replacement. The price was competitive and all works completed in a professional and speedy manner. Very satisfied with tge service provided.

Excellent Service

We noticed a water leak outside our house near the meter after a van had driven on the verge. Reported it on line and 24hrs later it was checked and the next day the guys came to repair it. Everyone on site was polite and helpful an excellent service from start to finish.

Water leak in road

I reported a water leak in the road on Saturday, first Monday morning, an engineer was looking into the problem, and phoned to give me an update. Tuesday first thing, the road was dug up and the leak sorted. Great service.

We needed to turn the water supply off…

We needed to turn the water supply off to the house whilst bathroom work was taking place but hadn't got a clue where the outside stopcock was of if it even worked. One call to ESS Water and , after speaking to a really helpful guy (Dan) an Engineer (Greg I think it was) was on site within a day or so and located it, cleaned it up and tested it was working. He called whilst he was en-route to let me know his ETA and was really polite and helpful.

I had a problem with my main valve on…

I had a problem with my main valve on the path into my house I contacted Suffolk water they got someone out that day he checked what was wrong and got a team down to do the repair the following day everyone I had contact with where polite and very help I had an excellent service.

As a disabled customer l often find l

As a disabled customer l often find l
get left and it takes 2/3 times of asking for help, until l do. But from the first phone call, l got help the very next day and at the time that was stated. Nothing was to much trouble, very happy with
the service.

Just received a bill from Anglian Water…

UPDATE 26th January - Essex and Suffolk Water contacted me within a week of my complaint in order to rectify the problem. They were very apologetic and the person dealing with the complaint was very helpful. I appreciate the timeliness and the help of those involved in customer services.

Just received a bill from Anglian Water for our sewage. It is enormous. Apparently because Essex and Suffolk Water did not read our meter for three years and estimated, they finally read it last January 2021 and only now a year later have adjusted the readings. Which means we are now stuck with an enormous bill! Shocking service. Why did they not read it it for 3 years when it is completely accessible at the front of our property and then when you do take a reading knowing it was wrong then take a further year to notify Anglian Water. I will be contacting Ofwat.
