étienne is a female-owned small business based in the heart of Copenhagen. étienne was founded in 2020, during the global pandemic, where our founder, the young entrepreneur Cathrine Helene Høyer, had a lot of free time, to experiment with designing jewelry and finding the best suppliers possible. Cathrine has an obsessive eye for detail that she uses to handpick every single part and piece, as you can see online. All styles show Cathrines's great passion for personal style, colours and playful combinations. Our jewelry is both delicate, simple and classic, but most importantly they are made by love. All of our styles and pieces are featuring 14-carat and 18-carat gold plated sterling silver or stainless steel, some with sparkling crystals, beads and rhinestones. The name étienne origins from French and means crown. Our motto is “Lift up your head princess, if not the crown will fall”. Our vision is to inspire girls and women to remember to pick up their crown and be the princesses and queens that they have always been. Cathrine Høyer founded étienne from a deep passion for beauty and jewelry. She believes that you should do everything you do with love.
