I am old enough to remember the true quality of BIC Biros - they were wonderful to write with & deserved their excellent reputation BUT something has gone badly wrong with them. They are BLOBBY & SMEARY and most frustrating to write with now - creating a mess on the page & the hands! On the packet, it still says "Made in France" but the French have obviously lost all pride in this once "manifique" product; "tres triste".

these people sell biro pens beware , I bought a pack of "cristal orginal" biro pens , they are nothing like the orginals apart from looks , they are useless pens that skate over the paper , if you rub them over some rough paper they will work for a short period then soon will start skating without leaving a mark & require rubbing hard over rough paper to get the ink flowing . NO DOUBT THEY ARE MADE IN CHINA NOW and the quality is terrible , don`t buy any BIC BIRO pens , All the pens in the pack was the same JUNK
