Terrible company

I have never dealt with such an unhelpful, unprofessional & rude company. Eukanuba clearly do not want to keep your business, their website is unclear & food is hard to purchase as not stocked in many places. Customer service is appalling they just don’t care. Complaint made about a member of staff giving incorrect information, questioning the food I had previously fed & basically bad mouthing lots of other premium foods as rubbish, shouted at me, spoke over me & put phone down on me so I made a complaint & rang several times for an update & no one ever bothered to to address complaint just said it wasn’t their department & there was no complaint system, a manager would be in touch four times this did not happen.
I would never give my money to such a rude company again.

No European customer care/mouldy nuts

Contacted the company 4 times regarding nut quality. We had been using eukaneba nuts for over a year and then received what looked like mouldy nuts. American branch had very good response time. I'm still waiting 3 months later for a reply from the European section. Expected better customer care.

2 stars maybe 1- quality control issues

2 stars and here’s why…
We’ve had several adult dogs and bred 25 pups and stayed with Eukanubu for the last 6 years. It was the only dog food we found to be well tolerated, (although) not necessarily loved, by all the fur balls and we wanted one universal product as they tend to dip in and out of each others bowls.

It’s never been a huge hit but we kept going as it’s proven easy on the digestion for them all and readily available in most stockists. So for that, it gets 4 stars.

However, of late we have found the quality of the product to be inferior and have had issues with several bags, bought at different times, with different manufacturing dates and batch numbers. The kibble, despite having at least 18months left on the BEST BEFORE date has been spoiled with a blue/green bloom and mould throughout.
The suppliers have all responded brilliantly when the product is returned and issued refunds but why does it keep happening. I note others online have left reviews about the sellers giving low star ratings for this issue, but it’s not the sellers fault, it’s the manufacturer, and I know this as it keeps happening with different purchase routes.

There is clearly a quality control problem here and if you don’t fully inspect the contents before giving to your pet they will be very sick… as some have reported. Ok. It’s not every bag, but it’s happened 3 times to me personally in the last 18months so something is amiss and that’s why I’m lowering my 4 star comment to 2 stars.

Potentially Lethal Eukanuba Kitten Food

Have you bought Eukanuba kitten food lately? It contains choking hazards. In 2 out of 3 containers I have opened, a piece of quite hard material of about 1x2cm has been found in the pâté . It is not easy to see & appears to be hide or possibly a synthetic. An adult cat would not be able to bite it & a kitten could easily choke on it. Be warned & be careful
