Really wonderful experience - great communication and they supported me throughout the move, I could not have wished for more.

During a stressful time you need someone to rely on to manage the moving and customs, European Movers came to me highly recommended and I can happily say the same thing to anyone considering using them. Great company all round

Chose European moving as it appeared good value with a DIY approach which we liked. There were some negative reviews, so as we got nearer to our date and communication was slower than I needed, I was worried that the drivers wouldn't show up. But they did and they were on time, very helpful and we met up at our new home in France, where they waited patiently for us when we were a bit delayed. I would have liked a better idea of when drivers would arrive in France well in advance so that we could plan our ferry and journey to arrive nearer the time they did.

I am very happy with the experience I had moving my furniture with the help of European Moving. Extremely helpful and understanding of my situation. I moved my furniture from France to 2 places, part was moved to Holland and the other part was moved to Germany. European Moving did extremely well in coordinating this and all the advices they gave me, were very useful. Also, extremely patient and always kind attending my several phone calls with questions. I will always be grateful to Hossam G, Daniel K and Agop B. I honestly recommend this company not only for the attention to every detail, but also for the great drivers they provide. Thank you guys for comforting me with my bad experience with another company who initially tried to move my furniture.

Feedback to European Moving about our move from Ås (Norway) to Wageningen (the Netherlands)

We experienced a lot of communication problems with EM. The two staff we had dealt with most while making the contract (Ivaylo and Daniel) left EM and commitments to us made by them were then not fulfilled.
More specifically: we realised a month before our move that the contract did not include any packing, despite our request for packing part of our belongings, specified in detail in the items list. After discussion with Daniel, he had then given us a 500 Euro higher quote than we had originally received and we paid that.

The contract was only sent to us during the one week holiday we had before the move. We realised it still did not include any packing. Calls with EM revealed that the above mentioned staff had left EM, that they had first calculated the wrong distance between Norway and the Netherlands (1000km) and that the higher amount we paid was just due to the additional 400km! Only one person, the driver, would come to us and we were given the advise 'buy a lot of tape and kindly ask the driver to help us pack those last items'. We packed everything ourselves of course, as by this time we were rather apprehensive about what we could expect.

When driver and van arrived, there was no hand truck, no blankets, no ties to hold baggage available in the van. The driver could not speak English or any other shared language and communication was difficult. He was hardworking and willing, though, and we have no complaint of him whatsoever.

He left on Wednesday 15hr. EM called to check and told me that the van was expected to arrive in the Netherlands on Saturday morning. The driver thought he would be there by Friday already. My brother would meet the van at our new house and therefore the student helped to communicate that the driver should inform my brother in time when he would get there. On Thursday, the driver sent the message 'I come at 15hr' and my brother responded 'OK then I expect you on Friday at 15hr'. Fortunately, EM called me on Thursday afternoon to ask 'could I receive the goods today already?' I realised then that the driver had arrived already, not even 24 hours after leaving Norway (1400km). My brother had to reorganise his day and went to open the garage and help offload. The driver slept in his van on the driveway for (part of) the night, waiting for his next assignment.

Our belongings reached in seemingly good enough order and one could say ‘end good, all good’. However, we do not feel that EM shows professionality in communication, leading to a lot of stress at the customer’s end. Much room for improvement.

What we really object to is the fact that EM engages in business with a 'moving company' that is not worth that name: no appropriate equipment for loading and securing, allowing a driver to go without breaks to rest and sleep. We also learned (talking a bit more with him through a Polish student) that the man earned a meagre 40 Euros a day (!) and is thus seriously underpaid for his hard physical work. Are you even aware of all this? It breaks many European rules.

Therefore, we would not recommend others to use your services.

I needed a way to get my household goods from Germany to the UK and after looking around I picked European moving as they had a competitive quote but also seemed to have a strong organisation behind them. I found them to be great. They were in contact updating me and helped with the import hurdles now we have left the EU. Their driver was curious and efficient. While there were some delays along the way due to some customs issues I was updated all the time and they handled quite complicated delivery instructions at the other end. I can recommend you use them for any similar move.

I used European Moving to move from South West France to UK. The whole process from quote to booking to form filling and loading/unloading was faultless. The driver arrived on time in France, offered to load the whole vehicle and unloaded again in UK. No breakages or damage.

Van turned up on time, driver was very helpful.

He arrived at the destination on time and again was very helpful.

Communication from the company was great. Agop in the Paris office was excellent.

Second time we’ve used European Moving for an international move. Friendly and very good value. If they could automate the process a bit more (quite a lot of manual sensing of documents back and forth and time on the phone to work things through) that would get them five stars!

So I had my move before 12 days from London to Lisbon in Portugal , I had to move around 2 tons of weight and had to book 2 vans. Amazingly they arrived as a convoy and the drivers and extra man started helping immediately , they were very fast and polite. Thanks to my coordinators Lyubomir that was with me from my first contact with the company and Hossam who gave me an amazing discount on the total price I would definitely recommend European Moving and I will use them again in the future .

Our experience with European moving couldn't have been better. From getting the initial quote to the support throughout we could not fault them. Our co-ordinator Agop Beilerian was excellent. He was always supportive and helpful and made everything effortless. The paper chase with regards to customs on arrival to the UK was easily dealt with on line. Our drivers, Slavomir and Damian were polite and helpful. They arrived on time for our collection and everything arrived as planned on time for delivery. We had one breakage and this was my fault so we could not complain! Great price for relocating from europe and great service. Thank you.

After a rocky start the move went perfect and in great time and the driver was brilliant

I had to organise a quite challenging move including transborder logistics between three apartments located in Belgium and Switzerland in a very short amount of time. Communication with European Moving was smooth and always received quick replies to my questions. It is my second move with European moving and I highly recommend them.

Our move went smoothly, the two drivers were on time as well in England as in Spain, friendly and very helpful.Everything was taken out of the rooms even upstairs .Once in Spain our belongings were placed in the different rooms .Nothing was to much.We are very happy with the move and the service provided.
The only thing that was not so good was that one of the Van's was not watertight and some boxes were wet.
Overall like we said we received an excellent service and would use European moving again.

We didn't know this when we booked with them in January and they cancelled less then 24hrs before the move and they kept all our money, it was rather expensive to find a last minute replacement service. Do not trust the positive reviews.
