As Event Manager for the 2026 York Mystery Plays, I worked with EEH to provide temporary seating in Dean's Park, York.

The customer service was impeccable. Leanne responded promptly to every communication and was always willing to work with us to achieve the best possible outcome.

The installation team on site were equally impressive. Conner and Kev went the extra mile to ensure the installation ran as smoothly as possible. They were professional, courteous and clearly experienced. Once on site, they worked efficiently, overcoming several challenges to deliver a high-quality seating unit that performed exactly as required throughout the event.

Some last-minute changes to the siting of the unit presented more than a few challenges, but EEH worked collaboratively with us to find a practical solution, ensuring the installation went ahead without impacting the event.

Overall, the service, product and on-site delivery were excellent. An easy five-star experience, and I would have no hesitation in recommending EEH to other event organisers.

Amazing service from start to finish and the stage supplied looked incredible. The guys set it up really quickly and we really helpful throughout. We will be using them again and I would definitely recommend them.

Have used Event Equipment Hire for a couple of events now. Their portable grandstands are perfect for our sports ground. Their customer service has been fantastic both from the office and those who deliver and install the stands. They also do a brilliant job of getting the stands into some tight spaces!

A particular shout out to Connor who has done our stage set up and delivery on our 2025 events and is great.

I have used event equipment hire twice now, once 7 years ago and i stopped doing the event I helped organise. After being asked to help out at the event again, I started receiving numerous quotes from local companies (which were extremely expensive) I decided to try event equipment hire after my experience the first time and I wasn’t disappointed. Leanne is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and on the day Danny was amazing, very patient and managed to put the stage where we thought it wouldn’t fit.
