Bunch of cowboys! We ordered a door with a spy hole but the door that arrived, didn’t have one. We contacted Everest to ask for one to be fitted and they arranged for someone to come the following week to fit it.
That was 5 weeks ago, and it’s still not happened. I have contacted them several times since and keep being told that someone will come out. Still nothing. Absolutely terrible customer service.
Once they have your money, they couldn’t care less.
Stressful and difficult ordering process. Unprofessional, amateur salesman and service. I don't expect salesperson to turn up with a relative sitting in the car! Error strewn quote with misinformation. Poor customer communication.
From Everest coming to give a quote, to surveyor and installation we found them to be great, only downside is the company they use for scaffolding, this company didn't give any indication when they'd come and I had to chase through Everest to get taken down which was 10 days after completion by Everest. They're customer service team were friendly and of great assistance and are a credit to them.
I contacted Everest online to ask for a quote for French windows. I received an email saying "Thank you for requesting an appointment with Everest, we are really excited to have the opportunity to explain our range of products" and then a phone call from Everest (who now seem to be linked with Anglian Home Improvements), booking an appointment for an Everest agent to come to my home, measure up, show me samples and photos, and discuss the options with me. However, instead of Everest arriving as planned, someone from Everest rang me about an hour before the appointment saying that the Everest person had had a domestic emergency and couldn't come - I should take the measurements and some photos, and then Everest would base their quote on that. I said I'd rather reschedule the appointment. He didn't sound too keen on that, and said he'd have to ring me back. He rang an hour or so later, and asked me to take all the measurements and some photos and email them to someone at Everest, which was a bit odd as I'd already explained to him that I wanted to reschedule the appointment. He then said the Everest person for my area would be off work for ages, probably months, who knew how long, but went on to say that my home was too far to come and the work wouldn't be worth it. This sounded more realistic than the mystery agent for my area with the sudden domestic emergency who would probably never be available again. I've already had some replacement double glazed windows fitted, so I know the drill about how things proceed, and it didn't include me doing the quotation work, and signing a contract before their surveyor arrived, or not, to finalise things. I'll pay my money for new French windows to a company that shows a bit more interest in doing the work.
Courteous and professional as we hoped.
my god we just changed 2 windows 1x bathroom and 1 x utility so lets start with bathroom ....
was just a pane of glass with loads of scratches'''
the utilty well a coplete window change due to , gouges in frame so a complete window was ordered the next one arrived and we had glass scrathes on both push out windows and a gouge on top of frame right side push out. then we carry on the maintainance man arrived to change the left hand pane of glas which was o.k. but the right should have been a complete opener including glass but the opener was all he had then it was realised that it was the wrong side opener so another reorder which arrived today 11/09/26 BUT this one a complete opener , glass o.k. but the white inside is a creamy white colour totally differant from frame and other opener so it would be better if they changed their quality control to just control because the service, product, finish are way way below what you would expect from a company. also it's not just everest its anglian and safestyle so you dont know whos turning up to fix the problem, when you try contacting them they finish at 3pm on phones and trying to get hold of a area manager they just turn their phones off so its now a long wait till monday... IN ALL HONESTY I WOULD NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY ANY MORE WORK and i would advise to shop around for a company that has quality ,,,,,,,
Terrible company. DO NOT USE (or Anglian Homes as they are now one and the same). We had someone come and quote for all of our windows to be replaced. Initial quote was £70k+. Clearly I said no. After saying no a few times this ended up coming down to £20k. I stupidly accepted, paid a deposit and moved onto the survey phase. At survey, they said they needed to fit lintels (at an extortionate cost of £10k extra) and that they couldn't fit one of the windows as it was too large for them. I told them I would be cancelling and wanted my deposit back. This took many days of chasing and it was paid back to me on the last possible day under the contract. I have since gone with an independent local family run business who have done a great job and would recommend anybody else to do the same. I regretted not listening to all of the bad reviews here - don't make the same mistake I did.
No way to view a quote easily, putting in information online to see if there's a way to view a quote upfront and suddenly signed up for a call back, which I did not want, only to then be plagued with phone calls for up to weeks after I made it clear I was not interested.
Avoid.
Very comprehensive explanation of the product and features and quality of what we were buying.
Jaswant was very personable and made us feel very comfortable during this meeting
To all the Directors of ASHI Group Limited, please take notice of yet another poor review.
Bottom line: I would never recommend Everest Double Glazing.
My experience with Everest Double Glazing has been nothing short of unacceptable and wish that I hadn’t chosen to do business with them. The quality of my patio door installation has been poor, and the problems have not been dealt with in any meaningful or timely way. Someone eventually came out to inspect the faults, who agreed and to my surprise added additional issues to the list BUT that was weeks ago. Since then, absolutely nothing has happened. No repairs, no updates, no timescales and, most importantly, no contact whatsoever.
I have also sent multiple complaint emails but Everest has failed to respond. This level of customer service is simply unacceptable.
What is particularly frustrating is that, having paid for what should have been a professional installation, I am now left chasing a company that appears to have little interest in resolving the problems it has created.
The lack of follow-up is every bit as disappointing as the installation itself. Once they have your money, getting anyone to take responsibility for problems appears to be an entirely different matter.
Any positives I may previously have had about Everest have now been completely wiped out by the negatives. Poor workmanship, virtually non-existent after-sales support and a failure to respond to formal complaints have left me with zero confidence in the company.
If this is the standard of installation and customer care they are prepared to provide, prospective customers should think very carefully before choosing them. A company should stand behind the work it carries out — and in my experience, Everest has fallen seriously short of that basic expectation.
From start to finish was carried out professionally. All targeted dates met in fact fitment was early. The team which fitted my windows and doors was experienced and professional. The team of 2 men ensured the site was tidy and clean each day, they ensured all questions were answered and explained. Thank you
I think that one star is very generous, if you want stress very bad service I have been trying to get them back here for the past 3 months too sort out the wind and rain that comes through the windows and you will not get a reply once they have your money you can kiss goodbye too any customer service
3 months ago we had a full house of secondary glazing by Everest fitted.
The service and result has been excellent. We are very impressed with the appearance and access to the outer windows.
Anthony, our salesman not only explained and introduced the options impeccably, but guided us through questions throughout the installation. The work was carried out over 2 extended sessions to give us time in between to organise our rooms.
A Surveyor double checked all the measurements and also gave us additional advice. Installations were carried out by extremely capable teams, and finally, manager Gary arrived to trouble shoot a couple of small problems. Altogether an excellent service in this day and age, and would highly recommend Everest. CE
Absolutely disappointed with the service ( or lack of it) and customer service.
I got in touch to book an appointment for a quote to get two doors supplied and fitted. First appointment was scheduled for Saturday the 15th of August at 1pm and it was a NO SHOW, no explanation or whatsoever as to why although I was told someone will call and explain.
Second appointment booked for Monday the 17th of August for 7pm. Yes you guessed it right NO SHOW again and yet again no call , no update or no explanation as to why this has happened twice. It might have been a small job but how you have dealt with us says a lot.
Unfortunately, you can't put 0 stars. Probably the worse company I have ever dealt with. Sold us windows not fit for purpose. They only offer 4 mm size glass on their secondary glazing whereas most decent companies offer at least 6 mm laminated glass. I did cancel within the 14 day grace period but there was small print on the contract stating you only have 7 days to cancel. After losing my deposit I did write to their complaints dept but didn't even get the courtesy of a reply. So customer service gets zero points. The only positive is I didn't have them install the glazing.
We have had 2 windows replaced by Everest windows, the sales team were friendly and accomodating to our needs, and on the the day of fitting, Wayne and Braydon were both proffessional and efficiant in the fitting of our windows, they were in and out in about 4 hours and we have been left with 2 fantasic new windows, very happy with thier work
I wanted to get a quote estimate as I already have the window sizes from the drawings. They only provide a quote if you book a site visit or team meeting, which I didn't want to do. I can't comment on the quality of the doors or windows or the installation service. The quote service is very restrictive compared to others.
