Best purchase ever

Best purchase ever - if you love K drama or K-pop this is the language program you need. And it’s the only method that is going to have you communicating in the language naturally and easily. The lessons are broken down into bite-size pieces, and you’re learning usable Korean from day one - by the end of day four or five you can have a simple basic conversation.

hello, Gamsa hamnida!!!

hello. I am very pleasantly surprised that in a week I can practically communicate in elementary Korean. It was wow, it is possible!!! I can't wait for the rest of the lessons. Even if I don't manage the lesson every day, I can catch up, that's great and I'm back in rhythm. Thank you very much and I'm so glad I found you!

Thoughts on First Week

I enjoy the repetition each time we meet. I like that I can go back to the lessons and refresh the pronunciation. My personal wish is that the videos were slightly longer with more content. I like Hoon. I enjoyed my first live class with the ability to ask questions for further clarification on pronunciation.

The material was well crafted with the learners in mind. I feel like having a personal tutor along the way and it was stress free, no pressure, nothing but fun, I realize quickly how fast I can repeat the seven steps while recording myself.
Thank You.

Everyday Korean is a great way to learn conversational Korean

Annyeong aseyo! I just completed my first week of lessons with Hoon, the creator of Everyday Korean. He makes it so enjoyable to learn the language. I also attended my first live class, yesterday, with Instructor Mia. It was so great to meet other students, all at different stages of learning. It was intimidating at first and I didn't want to speak very much. But Mia and the other students were so welcoming and encouraging that I was able to relax and join in the conversation. I think I'm off to a good start and am looking forward to making much progress in the coming weeks. Gamsahamnida!

Enjoying the Lessons!

I am really enjoying the lessons. They are very engaging. I like the fact that they are short and the information is relative. I aslo like the fact that I can go back and view them over to help me remember and more importantly to pronounce the words correctly.

Great technique of learning a language.

Just the way teacher Hoon interacts with us through the video and repeating old lessons so we can remember what we learned. And also the fact we don’t learn too much or too little at the time, the amount we learn everyday is just enough. It is such a helpful way of learning any language.

Enjoying Everyday Korean

I’ve really enjoy taking Hoon's Everyday Korean course! The lessons are structured in a way that makes learning feel interactive and natural and not overwhelming. Sunday live zoom classes gives opportunities to actually practice speaking — which makes such a difference!

A learning community

The everyday lessons are interactive and great. I think it's a good balance between vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar and cultural explanations. I really like that I can go back to them and repeat the lessons as often as needed. I also appreciate the live lessons once a week, that make the learning feel special. A way to make the online learning social, that makes it so much easier to keep going.
The best part is the social platform. You can reach out and ask for help anytime, and from what I've seen people are kind, patient and helpful. Some people feel safe enough to share their stories and history and gets sympathy, cheering and encouragement. You can also just brag about some food or music experiences and it's no longer just a course in korean, it's a community.

(Wasn't this quite pretentious after being here for a week? Anyways...)

Very good method

The video format is really good for me, I find it very appropriate for learning a language. Hoon has a pace that makes following the lesson very easy. I love the everyday method as I believe consistency to be the key. Moreover, the website itself is smooth which makes it pleasing to the eye, easy to use and makes me want to use it.

Learning with great guidance

I enrolled to your program months ago but didn’t really have the time to learn until today and it’s feels good that I can just open the app and your lessons are there anytime I need it.
When I started I find it extremely easy since you’re teaching us the basics and guiding us all through out and making it fun and stress free and that’s what make you different from the others. Thank you. I will be continuing my lessons from here on. More power to you!

The lessons are short and have quality .
I am learning on my way to work and back on my way home.
I am quite lucky and have some Korean guests and make a short conversation like how are you doing. See you tomorrow or see you next time. So they are pleased to talk with someone in their language and they are also trying to speak in my language so we exchange each morning word for word.

I just completed Week One

I just completed Week One! And I absolutely love it, did my first video challenge and felt very at ease. The program structure is easy to follow and feels like 1:1 engagement, the best part it is only 15 minutes commitment every night. Of course life happens, so you can catch on your pace. Highly recommend it!
