Watch out for this company

Watch out for this company! Do not purchase from them before reading this review!!! They do not send the bikes!!! I have ordered one 20 days ago and sent them multiple emails and have gotten zero updates, zero emails back, and even zero response to the PayPal dispute I have opened to get my money back. This is basically a ghost company. They do not exist. They will take your money and they will not send you anything. PayPal sent me my money back, otherwise, DO NOT TRUST THEM!

No service, No warranty

This is the worst bike and trust me you will not get any support if you got a problem. I am stuck with a broken bike and they are not responding to emails, the only contact option. Even under warranty you dont get any support. Dont spend your hard earned money in to this bike and get trapped.

The bike looks great and rides well

The bike looks great and rides well. Probably one of the best ebikes for the money. The EV secure app provides a lot of information. Haven't been able to fully test battery life yet, but have now driven 45 kilometers on assistance mode 2 to 3 and still have 61% battery. A question to support was responded to promptly and the problem I had was resolved properly. More than satisfied with the bike and the support.

The bike is good but some remarks;

- the ev-secure should be activated via a code that you get via an email. I never recieved the email with that code.
- the android is not downloadable via the playstore. You wil have to download a file via the evie website and install that on your android device.

The support center is offline

The support center is offline, and no connection of the Evie bike with the internet, so the bikes gps tracking is offline. No answers and no solution. Strange

Avoid at all costs!

I bought an S1 end of Dec '25, after carefully reviewing similar bikes and assessing reviews online. I got tempted by their warehouse in the Netherlands and local presence, and the Christmas offer.
The communication with their logistic center is a mess. They delivered twice when I was not at home, despite asking clearly when to deliver. The first time, the fork dropout was bended, so the wheel could not be put in place (how can you deform it so much? It must have dropped from 10m high). After almost a month (I had to wait until the broken bike was collected, and the new dispatched) I got a functioning bike. The gear shifter however is stiff (I does not go back into his place), and the battery runs empty after few km (the promised 70km are very unrealistic). Yesterday the GPS locator of the EV-Secure got stuck in a place I never visited. The support is basically non existing, they apologize but do not provide much support, besides replying after days. The bike itself is cool, I am just very worried about what will happen when something will break and I will require remote support...
If I could go back, I would consider a more expensive bike from a physical shop, with at least a phone number to call.
This is a ghost company that cannot be found, get the payment via a Singapore provider, and has no options to be contacted besides the useless chat box.

Review after three months

I am now waiting for my third bike from Evie Bikes. On the first two, the front fork was broken, so the wheel couldn't be attached. Incorrect screws were also delivered for the bike basket and rear rack. I had everything repaired and assembled by a local professional bike mechanic – he was not impressed.

Now, the lock on the bike has broken, and unfortunately, I can't unlock it. This means I'm locked out, and the bike is unusable. I purchased my bike on October 29, 2024, and as of January 31, 2025, I am still waiting for a fully functional bike. In total, I have only been able to ride it for two weeks out of the three months since my purchase.

Customer service is friendly and very apologetic. However, they rarely respond, and nothing really happens.

I would recommend thinking carefully and considering alternatives...

No support availabel / Kein Support erreichbar

I ordered the Evie S1. Delivery was super fast and assembly is easy even for laypeople and well explained in the instructions.
I only have one problem with support:
The bike cannot be connected to the app. I have gone through all the usual IT rituals. (Many attempts to connect, reconnecting the app and bike, completely reinstalling the app, ...) And I have already written to support about this, but I have been waiting for a response for a week now.
Sending a request via the mailbutton on the homepage doesnt work. It always comes the text: Something went wrong while sending your request.

Ich habe das Evie S1 bestellt. Die Lieferung war superschnell und die Montage ist auch für Laien einfach und in der Anleitung gut erklärt.
Ich habe nur ein problem mit dem Support:
Das Bike lässt sich nicht mit der App verbinden. Die üblichen IT-Rituale habe ich alle durch. (Viele Versuche der Verbindung, neu Verbinden zwischen App und Bike, App komplett neu installieren, ...) Und das habe ich auch schon dem Support geschrieben, aber ich warte jetzt schon seit einer Woche auf Antwort.

Sleek and reliable

Evie bikes are sleek and reliable. The battery life is great, but I had a bit of trouble with the setup at first. Customer service was helpful in resolving it.

Could Use More Color Options

The ride on my Evie bike was smooth, but I wish there were more color choices available. The bike is great, but I'm a bit disappointed with the delivery service. When my bike arrived, the box was slightly torn. I was worried until my grandson explained that the delivery guy accidentally ripped it while carrying it.
