Applied for a loan and got a conditional approval spoke to the office in Sheffield cut the call short because got fed up of repeating myself when I’d already given info on line. Anyway then got constant texts and emails telling me to confirm my loan by calling and they had received my bank statements because I had originally agreed open banking. Anyway five days of texts and emails asking me to contact office to discuss loan I decided to ring them to stop the bombardment of texts and emails after clearing security they told me they couldn’t offer me a loan. Hang you have bombarded me and the even though I didn’t want a loan anymore you tell me I can’t have a loan…. What a bunch of muppets avoid

Formal complaint incoming – unacceptable conduct and complete lack of response
My experience with Evlo has been beyond unacceptable and is now at the point of formal escalation.
I first applied in 2024 and received no response whatsoever. No acknowledgement, no update — nothing.
In 2025, I applied again and have since made multiple attempts to contact Evlo via email and phone. Every single attempt has been ignored.
To make matters worse, your system now prevents me from applying, stating I already have an account and instructing me to contact the local branch. I have followed that instruction repeatedly, yet the branch has also failed to respond entirely.
So the situation is as follows:
• Your system blocks my application
• You direct me to contact your branch
• Your branch ignores all contact
This is not simply poor service — it is a complete breakdown of your customer handling processes and raises serious concerns about your operational standards.
At this stage, I am formally raising this as a complaint. If this matter continues to be ignored, I will have no hesitation in escalating it further, including to the relevant regulatory bodies and submitting a formal complaint regarding your failure to respond and obstructive application process.
I expect a response addressing this issue without further delay.
Based on this experience, I would strongly advise others to avoid Evlo entirely.
