Amazing piece of software!!
I discovered this incredible software while learning portrait editing. As an amateur hobbyist, I had been struggling with editing portraits for a long time. This tool has made my portrait journey much easier, inspiring me to shoot more, pay closer attention to lighting, and let the AI handle the editing. Thank you, Evoto!
Still using the pay per photo system…
Still using the pay per photo system for any professional photographer this simple is NOT cost effective, EVOTO 6 you should just have a basic yearly subscription, just seems like a huge money grab, Esp in todays fragile economy !
Dismal Customer Support
Unfortunately, I am needing help getting the Portrait Retouching sliders to work on my Imac and their customer support is virtually nonexistent. Their support consists of emails with convoluted instructions I can't begin to follow. There is NO live customer support, not even a chat option. I paid for something I can't use.
Evoto is not exporting edited photos…
Evoto is not exporting edited photos back to lightroom. For over a month I have been trying to get the issue resolved, their customer service is horrendous, the response time is days in between, in the middle of the night. They don't keep a record so you keep having to repeat the issue and the they disappear for days.
Evoto is the best
Evoto is the best. It has cut down my editing time by half. It has helped my images look even nicer than before evoto days!
Dear Evoto Support Team,
Dear Evoto Support Team,
I am writing to you regarding a payment made on July 22, 2025, for 1000 Evoto credits. The payment of $92 USD, plus a 4% PayPal commission, was completed via PayPal on that date.
Since then, I have been attempting to contact you without success. I only received one email confirming my payment and stating that the credits would be applied to my account within 24 hours. As of today, July 26, 2025, I still have not received the credits.
This delay has significantly impacted my workflow, causing considerable disruptions. I urgently require an immediate response and resolution to this issue.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

Evoto is def my go-to app when it comes to retouching skin/hair.
I was having problems fixing major fly-away stray hairs shot in natural light. When Evoto fixed those flyaways with super ease, I was sold. As photographer/retoucher, PS was always my go to application, especially when it came to keeping skin texture as natural as possible. But when I saw Evoto producing results that PS was producing but in a fraction of the time, I was like yeah, I'm making Evoto my go to app. I still use PS for other things but when it comes to retouching, I'm going with Evoto everytime.
Evoto Deleted My Credits Without Warning!
Last year, I purchased 500 credits from Evoto and later realized they expire after one year. I attempted to request a refund via PayPal, which was declined – understandable.
After the credits expired, I contacted support and, as a goodwill gesture, was granted an additional six months to use them. However, just a few weeks later, all of my remaining credits were unexpectedly removed. When I reached out again, I was assured the credits would be restored – but that still hasn't happened.
Unfortunately, this situation has left me unable to deliver edited images to my clients, and I’m very disappointed by the lack of follow-up and resolution. I hope this issue can be resolved soon, as I had expected a more reliable service from a professional software provider. I just want my 354 credits back, which i paid for!

Evoto has significantlyreal game-changer in my workflow speed up and…
Evoto has significantly speed up and simplified my retouch process. What used to take several hours can now be done in just few minutes and with even better results. It allows me to handle more sessions and increase my earnings.
Using Evoto has been amazing
Using Evoto has been amazing, it's halved my editing time. I've noticed a few things that still need improving but there's new updates all the time so hopefully these will be added soon. Great system.
Evoto cuts down post processing time…
Evoto cuts down post processing time significantly. Edits look realistic and not over processed. Best of all the company listens to its customer base and introduces new features on a regular basis. I particularly like the fact that you only pay for a final edited image and the costs are a fraction of what you would pay for other mainstream products.
Evoto is a true gamechanger
Evoto is a product that is legitimately worthy of the term “gamechanger”. There isn’t another photo related software on the market that has positively impacted my workflow as much as Evoto. I’m a perfectionist, so retouching photo sets used to take me HOURS, and sitting in front of my computer was burning me out, but those days are behind me thanks to Evoto.
Using Evoto, I can produce the same stunning results that meet my standards in a fraction of the time. There are sliders to tweak effects to my liking and, if the A.I. misses a spot, I can manually use masks to take control and achieve the result I want.
Perhaps Evoto’s greatest feature is the ability to batch edit - meaning edits I make on one photo can be applied to as many others as I desire. I can even save these edits as a preset for later use. This specific feature cannot be overstated enough as previously, I was forced to edit photos one at a time, but no longer!
If you’re a photo creative, you owe it to yourself to give Evoto a chance. I guarantee you’ll never go back to manually retouching photos. In my years as a photographer, I’ve purchased and tried a lot of presets, panels and plugins that promised a lot, but either didn’t deliver or required too much time to be effective in my workflow. I’ve finally found a software that does what it says, does it fast and meets my quality expectations in one package. I am thankful for this product!
A final note on this review - their customer service is excellent. They really listen to their customers' feedback.
Truly ground breaking software for…
Truly ground breaking software for portrait retouching. Turns hours of retouching into minutes with excellent results. Always adding new features.
Post processing times are a breeeze now
Amazing product
This has streamlined My workflow a lot and has sped up everything. It's a perfect studio portrait photographer product and the team actively listens to the people who use it.
the tool is perefectly created for a niche audience.. and for the quality of image it finishes off with.. it's totally worth the credit based export system they have.
Good app...
To me Evoto is a lifesaver
To me Evoto is a lifesaver. for retouching time most of my works were on my hdd only. now I can retouch those in a very short time. no more backpain for the retouching and clients will be happy too by quick delivery. Thanks to Evoto team.
Could’ve Been a Game-Changer, but the Trial Experience Was a Mess
I had high hopes for Evoto, not just as a photographer, but as a busy mom of two toddlers trying to improve my workflow and client turnaround. I scheduled a paid client session specifically to test their 7-day free trial with no credit card, so I could see if their AI features would be worth the investment and could handle my most-used retouching steps.
I signed up for that no-card trial late one evening, but when I logged in the next morning, I had zero credits. I contacted support and was told the no-card trial “no longer exists.” I explained that I had signed up the night before and even offered proof. Their response was that I should try creating a new account on a different device, which I did, but the offer was gone from everywhere, almost immediately after my support chat. This, I was later told, is what led to both of my accounts being blacklisted without notice.
After over 24 hours of not being able to access Evoto at all, support finally admitted that both accounts had been blacklisted in error and restored access. However, by the time I was let back in, I had less than 24 hours left on my trial.
Then came a flood of conflicting and poorly timed emails:
At 9:00 PM, I got an email saying that my trial is close to ending on the 21st and if I canceled on the 20th before 11:59pm I can still use my credits for 24 hours and that unused credits could roll over if I subscribed. I thought that was a little strange, because in the Terms & Conditions It stated pretty clearly that if I decide to not follow through with a subscription after my trial is over, those credits will not roll over and I would lose them.
At 11:11 PM, I received a fraud alert from my bank: Evoto attempted to charge my card $269. 48 minutes before the trial ended. I now have to contact my bank to have my ony debit card turned back on and it's a weekend, so I have no access to my money until monday.
At 11:58 PM, I manually canceled it myself.
At 11:59 PM, I received an email saying my subscription had been canceled on the 21st and my subscription has started. I'm able to use it until the end of this billing cycle. ( I don't know how that's possible being that it was still the 20th, and they sent that email at 11:59pm a minute after I had already canceled. )
At 11:59pm at the same time as that other email was sent, I received a confirmation that I have canceled my subscription and my credits do not roll over. If I change my mind I can still explore there full subscription plans at any time.
At exactly 12:00 AM, I received another confirmation saying my cancellation had gone through as requested.
Shortly after, I got two more emails saying my payment method failed and to update my card or contact my bank and they'll try again no specified time was given.
I only had time to export three partially edited photos, nowhere near enough to evaluate how Evoto would handle the editing steps I need for every client gallery (skin tone cleanup, glasses glare, subtle smile fixes, lighting balance, etc.).
I planned my workflow and my client timeline around this trial. Not just to play around with the software, but to test whether it could become a core part of my editing process. Instead, I lost days of access, had to deal with blacklisting and billing confusion, and was nearly charged early for a full subscription.
What I was able to use impressed me. The features genuinely could save me hours. But this experience left me unable to make a fair decision and worse, caused me to fall behind on delivering a paid gallery.
I hope Evoto takes this seriously and gives me the opportunity to actually try the platform as intended, without errors or stress.

I was a huge fan of Evoto until they…
I was a huge fan of Evoto until they randomly suspended my account during a client project with no warning and no resolution after I reached out. I had just started their free trial the day before, didn’t receive the credits I was promised, and when I followed up with chat support, I had explained that I had signed up for the free 7-day trial with 200 credits (no credit card required) the day before, but when I logged in the next morning, none of the credits showed up. That’s when I contacted support via chat to figure out what was going on.
I was told the 200 credit free trial was no longer being offered, but I had literally just signed up for it. I told the support agent: “Do you want me to make another account to prove you’re still offering it?” because I could still see the offer was available and I was being asked for all kinds of proof. (I guess my screenshots weren't good enough for them.)
When I went to make another account for proof, it was suddenly no longer visible or advertised anywhere, which was suspicious. I spent a lot of time trying to find the same trial page again, and once I got fed up, I just went ahead and used a new email/account and signed up for the highest free trial subscription package that was being shown to me. Instead of fixing the issue they locked me out of my account. Due to being locked out of my account i'm not even going to be able to cancel my annual subscription that will be kicking in in just a couple of days.
I now can’t finish paid client work because of their platform, and support has gone silent. I’d be cautious relying on Evoto if you’re working on real deadlines or expect transparency.
