I used to trust this site but notice now it says avobenzone is safe?! not concerns about cancer but its easy enough to find research that shows its dangerous applied to skin and mixed with heat or chlorine,also just seen a review thats say they get bought off to say things are safe,i actually think this is the case now sadly.

I feel like EWG was the best thing that ever happened to my skin. Yes, it's a shame companies have to pay to get certified. This is something the FDA should be doing to protect us, but sadly, in a capitalistic world, this is the best we get.
If you're super dedicated, you can still evaluate a non EWG verified product by going ingredient by ingredient, as EWG provides transparent information about the studies behind every ingredient possible to use in body products.
EWG, please just control your popups. The same popup comes up every time you go to a new page on your Skinsafe website. It's really bothersome when using it a lot.

The medical community agrees that people should stay away from EWG as it's a fraudulent organisation that spreads misinformation and is the epitome of corporate greed & greenwashing.
I always look up "natural" products on ewg.org because they tell you what's healthy to eat, drink, clean with, use on your skin, etc. They rate each product with an A,B,C,D or F and tell you what the concerns with the products are. They tell you some places you can buy them as well.
