Horrible experience with the Athens, GA Quest Lab location. Rude staff. Seemed inexperienced and unorganized. Had bloood work over a week ago and still no results. Would never recommend Quest.

False Information
Recvd a letter in the mail stating due to my prescription drug usage and labs I was denied! I don't even know when I applied. The only time I was on meds was with a hip replacement and came off of those after 3 days last Fall. My labs were good enough in February for Trustmark to issue me a $150k policy. BS#

Exam One reported false findings to life insurance company that hired them. I tested “positive” for nicotine. The problem is I do not smoke, no one around me does. I ordered tests myself, it was immediately negative. Then I compared my lipid panel from my doctor to Exam One results that are three weeks apart. Exam one is a full 30 points higher on my Total Cholesterol and my LDL. I contacted Exam One, the lady was rude and told me they wouldn’t retest or fix their mistakes. Farm Bureau takes their results as the truth so if I want life insurance it will cost me $900 a month. That’s not happening.
Terrible experience
Terrible experience, the examiner was extremely rude. It was so bad that I made her leave and didn’t complete the exam
No show for home appointment
I scheduled an appointment for 8:45 am at 9:33 i called the nurse for no answer. I then text to have no response. After the third time of reaching out she answered to tell me that she had written my appointment down but failed to enter it into her schedule. I had been waiting over an hour to do a urine test . Completely unprofessional. I would recommend using a regular Healthcare provider instead of waiting for someone not to show up.
If I could give zero stars
If I could give zero stars, I would. My insurance exam with ExamOne was scheduled with Quest Diagnostics. When I arrived @ Quest Diagnostics, I was ahead of time for my appointment. There were 2 women in line ahead of me trying to check in using the digital check-in kiosk...both of them had problems navigating the kiosk. By the time I got to the kiosk, and successfully logged on, I got an automated message notifying me that I was late for my appointment and that I would have to call the office to make another appointment.
I was not happy about that, and when one of the only two attendants on duty came out to call the next client, I asked about the problem. She told me that I was late signing in...when I explained that I was late because the two clients ahead of me also had problems with the kiosk, she just repeated her answer. It took several minutes to get her to listen to me instead of giving me the standard reply, and then she just told me to wait and see if they could get me in. A few minutes later, a different attendant came out and took me back for my exam.
She explained to me that there were only 2 attendants on duty, and that they were aware of the kiosk problem and complaints, and had reported it to corporate many times without success.
I asked for a tissue, and she told me they did not have tissues and directed me to the bathroom and told me I could use toilet paper. I went to the bathroom...there was no soap...not even a soap dispenser...not one on the wall, and not one on the sink. There was no way for me to wash my hands. When I got back to the exam room, I told the tech and she said they don't supply soap.
She did, thankfully, use gloves and clean my skin with an alcohol wipe before drawing blood, but there was no way for me to wash my hands or for her to wash her hand, in the exam room, and no way for anyone to wash their hands in the bathroom.
The tech did a good job with the blood draw, but Quest was the most disorganized, ill supplied, inconsiderate, understaffed medical office I've ever visited.
Do not waste your time with Quest.
Terrible and scam company
What I experienced at this laboratory…
What I experienced at this laboratory was outrageous and unacceptable. They tried to draw blood five times without success, left me with severe bruises and pain, and even suggested drawing blood from my feet. This shows a complete lack of training and professionalism. I am sharing this because no one else should have to go through such negligence and mistreatment. Avoid this place for your own safety
Terrible
Terrible! Terrible! Terrible!
I had to get my blood test for life insurance. The lady there poked a needle in my arm but couldn't get any blood out. She literally shove the needle while it was still in my arm to see if she can get blood out. SERIOUSLY??? I could've sued her for that. It was super painful so I screamed and the other lady apologized and stepped in to get my blood. Ofc she had to do on different arm so ended up having two arms bleeding. I felt so humiliated and felt like I was experimented. If you are inexperienced, then do practice on yourself , not others!! What's scarier is when she asked the more experienced lady whether she should throw away the needle she poked in me. Seriously???? I am genuinely concerned that one day somebody might get HIV from this woman inadvertently and the person wouldn't even know until ten years from now. I seriously wonder if she is properly licensed based on that question. My goodness!
The other experienced lady was trying to cover up the mistake by asking if I am properly hydrated. I mean lady! Even if I am not, I still got blood flowing in my body!!! Come on!! Highly DO NOT recommend this location! Also watch out somebody might sue this center for malpractice!
Attitude and No show
Both guys on the phone acted as if they were doing my a favor - from the moment i spoke, it was attitude attitude attitude - showed up for my exam on time, it’s been an hour and they have not showed up - i called to ask for an update, again, acted as if i was bothering them - i rescheduled my appointment because they can’t find their examiner and they have no idea where she is or when she will arrive - i’ll report back on round two

Fraud system selling PHI data from quest diagnostics. Quest steals data from other companies who have a confidential agreement with patients to not share these details. Its all a big scam where they steal the data from sources where they are not supposed to
Exam One SUCKS
If there was a -10 I would click that. Insurance exam over a month ago. Keep getting a text with a link to look at lab results. I enter what it asks, phone and birthdate, click and it comes up no results. Got one this a.m. and still the same thing. Have tried creating a new account, going in to an old account, etc. No go. I tried calling and it said no one is available to take your call. Even my insurance agent has tried contacting them, to no avail. This company sucks big time. Perhaps insurance companies should switch to a different company for we exams.
Horrible customer service
A rep from ExamOne called me to follow up on an application for life insurance that I had made. I didn't recognize the name and said it was for my insurance company. The rep didn't acknowledge this, just mumbled something. The rep's voice was so quiet and far away I could hardly hear them, even with my phone on top volume. I told them I could barely hear them and they got annoyed, saying in a rude tone, "Is that better" and it barely was.
They asked about my health info in a snarky tone and said "for MOST people it takes 15 minutes. for YOU? 30-45"
I answered her first question about my health and she didn't accurately reflect what I said, like she wasn't listening.
I said I had to disconnect and call back. I just stopped dealing with them entirely. Horrible, unprofessional service.
Phoned me from an unknown number
Phoned me from an unknown number. Then proceeded to try and con me. Still not sure what they wanted. Told me that my blood work was about to expire. I called Quest Diagnostics and was told the blood work order was good for a year. The woman who called me from ExamOne sounded like an idiot.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! The medical assistant showed up 15 minutes late. Once she arrived she opened up her back pack that looked like a trash can. She dug around and pulled out what she needed and laid it on my dining room table. The needle was not wrapped and the cap was barely on.I should of asked why it wasn't wrapped.
They hang up on me
They hang up on me, because I asked the question. So rude and unprofessional.
RUDE Old Man
I had gone in early for an appointment earlier then expected, I called ahead spoke to a female on the phone was very helpful and communicated with me she would attempt to help me out depending on her scheduled appointments I was ok to wait, I check in a older male attends to me asking for my name, first off I thought he was very RUDE to me regarding my arrival and I over hear him rudely explaining to the female that attended me after explaining to her the same way he explained it to me If that's the office manager I feel terrible how the females have to deal with that in a female industry clinical setting all though both females at the front were very helpful sorry Ive forgotten there names Thank you for making the appointment easy and a successful blood draw after I explained to her I'm a difficult draw she got me on the first try thank you for making me comfortable, I complaint to both females about that man I doubt they said anything to anyone so here I am posting it for someone to actually listen somewhere
PARAMEDICAL EXAMINERS..
PARAMEDICAL EXAMINERS... (P.E.) BEWARE!
I have over 25 years experience as a mobile nurse sub-contracting with nearly every paramedical company in the nation and must say Examone has, by far, been the most unorganized, undependable, and mal-managed one yet.
They either overbooked me or scheduled my patients so close together it was impossible to stay on track; they'd promise me a "full day" if I'd drive 50-100 miles out of my way to see remote clients yet only actually book 2-3 people and would not reimburse for fuel.
What really concerned me the most, however, is their complete indifference for the actual patients time, comfort, or ability to get insured in a timely manner.
Voicing my concerns to management was a moot point as the branch manager picked and chose what emails to answer and address and never addresses my issues.
It seems to me that Examone is constantly running ads on Indeed, Linkedin, etc. at the same locations for mobile phlebotomist and this is no doubt because they treat their PEs like disposable crap thus their turnover rate is extremely high.
Again, "disposable" because it seems there's always more people to see and its not like the poor agents have any say in it as Examone has an exclusive contract with most major insurance companies making it impossible for the agent to seek out better paramedical companies.
In essence, they're forced to use Examone and their overbooked, overworked, underpaid, and totally unappreciated transient phlebotomists.
Had 2 appointments with ExamOne in…
Had 2 appointments with ExamOne in August 2023. Less than an hour before my first appointment, I received a phone call letting me know it had to be rescheduled, as there was an emergency and the person drawing couldn’t make it. Ok, I understand life happens. Appointment was rescheduled and lo and behold, another emergency with the same gal scheduled to draw me, and they can’t make it.
Due to time constraints on my part, I had to go elsewhere for my blood draw, which involved an hours drive. Minor inconvenience, but it’s what I had to do.
I was due for another blood draw in February. On 1/29/24 an appointment was scheduled for 4/1/24, as I am limited on my time availability due to my work, and I was going to be off the first week of April. I explained this when I scheduled my appointment.
On March 13th, I received a text from the gal doing my draw, stating there was a scheduling conflict and could it be done on 3/22/24?
I responded no, that was not going to work with my schedule, that I specifically scheduled it for 4/1/24 as I would be off work.
I received zero response, and had to then call the week before, and see if I was still scheduled, and I was.
But in my mind, I’m thinking I’m going to get canceled.
In the morning of my scheduled draw 4/1/24 and less than 30 minutes before my appointment, I received a text that there was yet again, an emergency. Go figure!
I will NEVER use or recommend ExamOne to anyone.
They are unreliable and not dependable.
