examPAL was created by more than 50 talented people from different industries and professions: from teachers, designers and video producers, through data scientists, programmers and soundmen. With 20 years' experience in the test prep industry we examined the online field and realized that students have very old-fashioned products to choose from. No one offers the kind of interactive, entertaining, personalized experience that one would expect from online education companies in the 21st century. Our vast experience gave us the intuition and aided us in developing the fastest way to solve every question on the test using today's technology. This must be shared. After years of development - we made it.

This prep course is quite a thing. The different ways to tackle a problem are given due diligence here with the logical, alternative, and precise techniques. It drills on what the GRE actually tests, which is cognitive flexibility and the ability to answer questions quickly. Great course. And Free subscription to The Economist!
I am not sure if I can write here about the Economist Gmat Tutor as I see most of the reviews have not been regarding this.
Anyway, I have tried some different platforms so far. This time I am truly excited to learn math through the EGT. I found the GMAT prep kind of boring and time consuming and honestly I have had a little progress within the first months, but once I started the EGT I can say it has been a miracle! The prep is not boring and tiresome anymore and I put all my spare time on it! Studying math has always been a challenge for me, however, with EGT it’s fun and amusing. I can feel my progress and I am more confident now. They are always reachable and attentive to assist the students and I have been amazed by the AI techniques which has been used here to address all of the issues and weaknesses!
This is the only way I can appreciate the EGT and all of it’s amazing support team behind the scenes!
A huge shout out to you, the greatest tutors ever 🙌🏼🙏🏼
I originally wrote a review for this and compared it to Magoosh. I think that was a mistake on my part. Here is what I should've written:
This is truly an innovative platform and takes on studying in a different manner. It focuses around mental flexibility rather than just knowing one way to solve a problem. This has really helped me to become a better problem solver. Not to mention, they truly care about the platform and reached out to me when I had an issue to see how they could better assist. I truly appreciate the humanity that they offered and I can't wait to use the platform in an even more efficient manner.
The PAL method was completely different than what I was used to but it works. Substitute values for variables, use logic when needed and be precise when time allows. It got me a 168 on the Quant and 164 on the Verbal. Plus it felt like a game trying to get a high score so it was engaging
ExamPAL raised my overall GRE score from 314 to 319 in a little over 3 months. After studying with another leading provider, I found the ExamPal GRE course better suited to my needs, helping me learn how to take the GRE rather than simply learning the concepts.
Furthermore the team are incredibly responsive, and took a lot of time answering my questions ensuring that I truly understood why I got questions incorrect, and not simply telling me the answer.
Additionally because the course focuses on using the ETS practice exams, I found I was much better prepared for the real test, and my practice exams reflected what I was able to achieve.
680 GMAT score on my first try!
ExamPAL has been instrumental in my GMAT preparation. The lessons are very clear and I love how the course really focuses on teaching cognitive flexibility (which is what GMAT actually tests) and real test strategies vs simply teaching you the concepts. And should the online resources not be enough for you, their staff is always available to answer your specific questions.
Their price point is also unbeatable given all they offer in the package, thus making all other expensive GMAT courses simply not worth it.
While I am not totally happy with the platform. There is no aggregate data on your progress and it is very hard to follow the difficulty level of the questions answered and how it compares to the actual test.
However, ExamPal has been exceedingly accommodating to my concerns. I will update this rating as I progress through the program.

Can someone give this company a medal? I started studying 5 days ago and I felt so overwhelmed by all of the options out there. I tried top-rated programs and they were okay-ish. I was stuck on the same section for days....wracking my brain to understand a complex equation. I knew I needed a better understanding of some core concepts, but I was having go the extra mile to find that concept knowledge itself. I would log into one test platform and then switch over to another. Then, as I was looking on the GMAT Club for additional information, I saw an article on this program. The concept of tailoring to my individual learning style immediately spoke to me. I’m two steps in, and honestly for the first time in my life, I am excited to do math. I needed a program that would tailor to my needs. Exam PAL did just that. It started with the very basic of concepts and then tested me with a few questions after each concept. Their format allowed me to retain as I learned. Seriously, can you take over the world of teaching and show everyone else how to do it?
why ((( 5 stars)))?
1- a lot of genius techniques to solve the questions.
2- the subjects are well prepared.
3- the staff is very friendly and they try to help and support you.
i love it so much and they deserve more than 5 stars!
The explanation for practice questions is multidimensional which may sometimes tiring, it might have been much fun if u have added a voice to the explanation.
I have used both Manhattan Prep and MyExamPaL, from my experience, I highly prefer ExamPal because
1) It is more efficient. The program is pre-structured and pre-scheduled, so I do not need to worry about making my schedule. Just follow the pace makes the preparation smooth.
2) ExamPaL is comprehensive and personalized. The video and provided documents themselves covered all the content needed for GMAT, no need to read other books. Then you can see your strengths and weakness and adjust the way you tackle the problem based on the awareness of your performance.
I wish that I had used ExamPal from the beginning. I believe that it will save me a lot of time that way.
examPal is a fantastic product that really helped me study for the gmat exam! The website is very user friendly and beautifully designed, and the content covered everything I needed to know for the exam. Furthermore, the website analyzes the way you think and recommends the best approach that matches your natural thinking process. This algorithm works splendidly and really helped me to solve the questions in the most efficient manner. Finally, the tutors responded quickly and really helped explain the questions that I struggled to understand. I highly recommend this product as it is the best preparation for your exam!!
Gmat is a test that deals with logic and basic and Exampal actually teaches you basic and logic to tackle the problem.
The staff are really friendly and supportive, they understand your problem and go out of the way to help you,I really want to thank Simon for his unconditional support and help.
Exampal teaches you the right methodology to tackle each problem with different kind of approach.
I would highly recommend the course to all the people aiming for 700+ score.
Good luck to all!
Great teaching methods. Hope it will pay off in the exam.
I just finished the program from exampPal. I had a technical difficulty that took up a lot of time, and I did not like the customer service response time. The employee made me feel as if it were my fault by stating that it was my computer that was the issue. On top of all this negativity, I kept getting personal messages about my original TrustPilot review of two stars. It felt like harassment. To add to that, they responded to that review that I gave them a five-star review in my app. ( that was done before my issues started with them). Next, I used their services for the writing assessment portion one time and never received an email. I emailed them about the issue. I will say that the response time for that was tremendously better than the technical difficulty; turn around two days. However, I got an email stating that it had been sent to me, and I was asked to verify my email. Yet again, they tried to push the blame onto me, a paying customer.
Despite all of the unprofessionalism the staff has portrayed, the program did increase my GMAT score. (on the practice tests). I still have unused credits that I will try to use up. I recommend this program to self-motivated individuals. I do not have the desired score I want out of this program, but my score did increase. I had to push back my test date.
On a final note, I also recommend that if you can afford to pay for better services, Kaplan University is full of a professional staff team. Moreover, onhand tech support for minor issues that may arise. (they don't blame you).
So far I have used many sources to prepare for the GMAT. I started my studying this summer in June and for three months I used the top rated books. I was hoping to learn the basics to the complex hard concepts along with strategies and ultimately master the GMAT. My score goal is 700... and I realized I won’t reach that goal using those books. I really tired to wrap my head around the way the books taught but, it wasn’t for me. I needed the kind of training that examPAL is giving me. I enjoy studying now (like I always do but with the boxes I did not) and I am so excited to master the GMAT! When I watch the lessons and introduction modules I feel like interested and engaged. I don’t feel like this is going to he impossible for me. I know it’s more than possible for me to get a high score! Thanks you examPAL!
The videos are a great help in breaking apart the topics to study. They are very thorough and they teach you how to think about taking the test (which is the most important thing)!
Since I am only halfway, I am not in a position to give a final opinion... But so far, so good...
The tailored course with systematic basics reviews and strategies, AI questions from diagnostic to optimization constitute altogether an efficient and fun tool. The PAL – Precise, Alternative, Logical – structure is also very handy and adapted to both verbal and quantitative sections. Overall, after roughly 130h of preparation, I ended-up with a 640 GMAT score (+120 vs. starting point) which I believe could have been easily improved with one more week of study.
