It's unfortunate that I didn't discover this page before trusting my money with this person. He persuaded us to pay $679 for a five-day webinar, and throughout the sessions, he constantly shared one story after another. At the end of the five days, he presented a tempting offer to become a "real" student, which included help with my resume, assistance in fixing my LinkedIn profile, and support in finding a job.
He claimed, and I quote, "We have a company that we work with that will disburse your balance for your school fees of $11k, All you need to do is make a one-time deposit of $1,599 so that our company knows you are serious." After making that payment, I didn’t hear anything for three days until someone contacted me, stating that I needed to make an additional payment of $3,000. I explained that I was waiting for the company they mentioned to disburse the money.
Instead, they sent me two loan links to apply for loans. The bottom line is: do not trust his deceptive stories. Most of the webinar sessions were pre-recorded. He is a scammer and is collaborating with others to obtain people's credit and debit card information.

I'm not gonna say much, because I BLAME myself for not making research about them before payment, Well, I'm still a little bit happy i only made an initial payment through Sezzle payment platform, I have canceled my card so no further payment comes through and I have reported the fraud to Sezzle
This video you all are watch video that was recorded over a year now.

This institution is misleading, I still maintain. During the course, we were taught that LinkedIn recommendations and reviews can be solicited from friends — even those who are not industry experts — simply to build a profile in the absence of real experience. With that in mind, it is not surprising that critical posts are often flooded with positive reviews.
After sharing my experience, my review was quickly overwhelmed by glowing comments from individuals seemingly connected to the institution.
The training offered little practical value or genuine career support, particularly for students based in Africa. The expectations created during recruitment were not met at all.
If you are serious about building a legitimate career in cybersecurity, I strongly advise looking elsewhere and choosing a credible, reputable provider.

They just collect your money and do nothing. Their fees is outrageously high. Before they start they will indirectly force people give reviews them good reviews or they will not move forward. Complete scam. They refuse to make refunds.

I attended the 5 day challenge this week and was excited and skeptical but l pushed through to realize this was a scam. I feel so disappointed l should have researched if Tolulope Micheal had complaints. I never got back my results back from the test l completed. Day 5 came l paid 1,599.00 but still l got not results from test that was required to be accepted into program. Now l have to go through a dispute process with my bank and dissatisfaction of knowing my hard earned 1,599.00 was wasted and may never get my money back . I’m a Federal Government employee with the US Department of Treasury and Tolulope Michael is a fraud and scammer!

Reply from Excelmindcyber
Based on my personal experience, Tolulope Michael’s program came across as deeply deceptive and scam. I paid roughly $7,000 with the expectation of meaningful support, interviews, and progress toward a job. None of that happened. I did not receive a single remote interview, and the promised involvement, especially if no interviews occurred never materialized.
From what I went through, the entire program is a Big scam. I felt misled by the promises that were made, and the lack of follow-through was extremely disappointing and costly. I’m sharing this so others can be aware and think carefully before investing their money or trust in this program.

This individual, Tolulope, is a fraud. Be extremely cautious, his advertisements specifically target Africans seeking cybersecurity jobs. I was personally deceived and exploited by him. He failed to deliver on every promise he made. Do not fall for his scam; he is a con artist, plain and simple.

Reply from Excelmindcyber
Tolulope Micheal, you are a disgrace to cybersecurity industry, to Nigeria and more importantly to the body of Christ the faith you claimed to believe in. Your ways are not pure. You are manipulative. You extort people of their hard earned money with deceptive and misleading information. This is horrible.
I am going to go into details.
Selling point
o Him and his team will tell you and make you believe that with $697 payment for 5-day challenge, they will teach you and give you a career road-map to implement under their mentorship such that within 90-days after the 5 days challenge you will certainly get a job. So their 5 days challenge will give you a package which include mentorship, CV reviews and hand-on practical that guarantees a job within 90-days. This is their selling point and that is exactly what people paid $697 for.
Joined the program after it was advertised as:
• As live classes
o Turn out to be recorded version (who in their right senses pays $697 to watch recorded video, no document to fall back to. No resources, video link expires after 24hrs
o You are restricted from asking questions, no interactions with other candidates during seminar.
o You will not see anyone in the meeting room, and you will NEVER be selected to talk.
o Plays back pre-recorded questions which does not address personal concerns
• Promises no additional fees at the point of sale
o He knows you are probably discourage by what you saw on the first day he promises you an offer for the last day to keep you at the seminar. So for you, you made the payment already anyways, so you decides to wait and see what happens to see what offer is on ground
o So on the last day of the seminar which is Friday you will discover additional payment of $12,600.
o Now here is the catch, If he had mentioned during the marketing that his program is $12600 no one will pay to join.
• Your options at this point (1)
o You quit or stays either way Tolulope has nothing to lose. He’s got $697 off you already
o You ask for refund he will make it clear to you; you pay to watch him talk and advise you on your career path and the payment does not cover 90 program contraries to what he said at the point of sale.
• Your options at this point (2)
o Tolulope knows people can barely afford that price, so he comes with finance options and payment plan
o Instant payment of $1600 to secure a spot
o Considering all the mouthwatering recorded promises replayed in the so called seminar some people will consider signing up
o While some people will count their losses at this point, others would think of subscribing knowing this is the only way to make their initial $697 count. This was my story, and Tolu knows this logic pretty well.
o Even though I was very disappointed in his lack of transparency in his process of getting people on board I decided to sign up just for three reasons. I believed in the program the way he painted it though out the 5 day challenge. (So basically the 5 days seminar is to make you see enough reasons to sign-up for the 90 days program simple). Also I knew he was not going to refund and the only to make the whole thing make sense was to sign-up so my initial payment would count and thirdly there was a finance option which allows install mental payment. Also paying instalments shouldn’t be a problem since the whole package offers a guaranteed job (2 remote jobs paying average of $100 per annum to be precise) with option of total refund if jobs were not secured. All these put together I signed up on the last day of the program with another $1600.
o Program was to kick-off in two weeks or so. Two months and some days passed already, and I am yet to be provided with finance. When I reached out I have flimsy excuses of we are working on it. Most times no responses to my email, no direct line to call. So frustrating.
o So I asked for a refund of $1600.00 and he said that money was paid to secure my slot and it is non-refundable because I have denied other candidates opportunities to take up the slot.
o I responded: You claimed to have finance available, but these is two months counting and you could not provide finance as promised so you will have to refund me. At this point he stopped talking to me and did not respond to my mails again.
o So I paid $2300 for nothing. It is against the law for digital service providers to engage in misleading or deceptive commercial practices. So I need to do something about it.
Not sure what happens in 90 days program and you have the right to charge what you want. But I think it’s only fair for you to be transparent . Let people know what they are paying for. Not creating misleading information causing consumers to make a transactional decisions they wouldn't have made. This is so sad.
“Watch him come under my post with his defense mechanism with words “our process is transparent; we have helped hundreds of candidates”

I wrote a review earlier and was asked to reach out to the team. I am still waiting for a response. I would hope you would at least respond. A number of people have said it's a futile effort; I'll leave you guys to prove me wrong. I will still keep coming here to share my unpalatable experience..

Signed up after talking to them for 4-5 hours and them promising us that there were no additional fees after the 5 day challenge sign up, i found out shortly after we paid that this was a lie, i asked for a refund and still haven't gotten it. good luck finding a phone number or someone who will get on a phone call with you it's all hidden behind Zooms and fake "live" training sessions. I work in a security adjacent role in IT for 15 years and was research this for a career path for my son... none of the security pros and compliance specialists I talk to daily deem the income claims as legitimate, also its been 24 hours and still nobody issue a refund..also check the names of the positive reviews then search for them on linkedin..make your own assessment
NOV 5, 2025- I provided all my banking details' proof of purchase, date, time, amount, name, everything.... and they still refuse to honor the refund

Horrible experience. Followed program exactly as instructed. Later found out their practices are fraudulent and a disgrace to the security community. DO NOT take this course. They will lie to you then take your money and get you blacklisted in cybersecurity after following their instructions. BEWARE OF THIS FAKE AND FRAUDULENT program.

I'd spent $3,200 on three different cybersecurity courses over 18 months. Each promised career transformation. Each left me with certificates but zero job prospects and growing frustration.
When I found ExcelMindCyber's 5-Day Cybersecurity Jobs Challenge, I was skeptical. Free content that actually delivers results? After my previous experiences, it seemed impossible.

Reply from Excelmindcyber
For two years, I convinced myself that cybersecurity was off-limits because I couldn't write code. Every job posting seemed to demand programming skills, penetration testing expertise, or advanced technical certifications I didn't possess.
I was stuck in project management, earning $42K annually, watching cybersecurity professionals on LinkedIn celebrate six-figure salaries while I assumed that the world was closed to me.
ExcelMindCyber demolished that limiting belief on Day 1. Some of the highest-paid cybersecurity professionals never touch code.' They opened my eyes to the business side of security-risk management, compliance oversight, governance frameworks, and audit coordination.

After 365 days and 247 job applications with exactly zero interviews, I was broke, desperate, and ready to give up on cybersecurity entirely. My savings were gone, my confidence was shattered, and my wife was suggesting I go back to retail.
I had Security+ certification, countless courses on different platforms, and a head full of theoretical knowledge that meant nothing to hiring managers. I was missing something critical but I didn't know what.

The program is a well packaged scam. Good presentations but here are the flaws:
It is pre-recorded
You will be asked to pay $695 for the program. Please note it's only for the 5day and it doesn't cover 90 days.
At the end of the 5 days you will be asked to pay either $16000, 19000 or 25000 depending on the package you want.
No one will pay 695 just for 5 days
You will be told that the next batch will be in 3 months but run the 5 Days Challenge biweekly
The same people asked questions. You will not see anyone in the meeting room and you will NEVER be selected to talk.
You will be added to a Facebook group created by one content creator.
Save your money to other genuine Boothcamp.
Note: I guess those who gave 5 stars either did so before the end of the 5 days and are not real people as most of the name does not even exist on LinkedIn.

Great thanks to Micheal Tolulope and the Excelmindcyber Team. This challenge has been insightful, rigorous and knowledgeable. The challenge provided me with the fundamental skillsets needed in Cybersecurity, guided me to decide which path to take and shifted my mindset to the possibilities and opportunities in GRC and the strategies that I need to apply to attain a position and be successful in a GRC role. I would like to see them expand quickly and give more people this opportunity and I believe they have the capacity to do more.

Amazing and refreshing experience. I am lot more confident I can pivot to GRC. Thank you Olu & team for the very valuable exposure to GRC

I joined this program after it was advertised as offering live classes, but what I received were only prerecorded videos. Even the so-called “webinar” was prerecorded. If i wanted videos, i could have opted for YouTube.Yet, during that same webinar, Tolulope promised a 100% cash back guarantee if we were not satisfied. When I asked for a refund, they chose to ignore their own promise.
The materials shared were inferior and unprofessional — nothing more than blurred photocopies. I only attended the first day of their prerecorded “challenge” to confirm my suspicions, and sadly, I was right.
Tolulope, this is pure scam behavior. If you are going to show people outdated prerecorded videos, the least you can do is be upfront about it so they can decide whether to join. Misleading people with false promises and then refusing refunds is unacceptable.
I strongly caution anyone considering this program to think twice before committing.

Beware: big scam is happening here.
This man advertised his course to be a 90-days cyber security program, I watched his video and I was skeptical, I got on a call with one of his advisors who also advised it’s 90days for $697 USD but we would 5days first after which the more intensive one will continue… according to her it is divided into first 5days, then 30 days then another 30 days it is arranged in milestones.
She explained they will help to secure a job all during the 90days as well.
She is Nigerian just like him crooks.
I signed up and once the program started, we were watching pre-recorded videos disguised as “lives” which is not a big deal to me as long as what was promised is delivered.
Then he started saying on the last day, he has an offer for us. I knew he would require us to pay more, I was disappointed when he kept mentioning this offer but I thought let me wait to the last day to hear the offer he is talking about.
While watching the “pre-recorded “ live you can see a couple of people complaining about this new development (of an offer where we may have to pay more) and he never apologized. He kept saying there’s a miscommunication.
Yeah right… a miscommunication with several different people then your advisors should be coached. All your calls are recorded so why don’t you correct that miscommunication if you really want to.
Finally by the last day say (5th day ) of the challenge he finally dropped the bombshell, saying if we want the actual 90 challenge we have to pay $12600USD.
He has every right to charge whatever considering the supposed value he promised but to deceive people to pay you $697 only to then say this price is only for 5days “introduction” to the course is unacceptable.
You dragged it to the very end to tell this information. From my observation this is a recurring thing and not a 1 time thing.
But be aware that I will spread this news on every platform about you.
I make videos on social media, watch out for me, at least my videos will save 1 or 2 persons.
