I chose their 400mbps plan for three months. Considering the subscription fee, 100-200 mbps speed was okay.
The problem is, they don't address connectivity issues in a professional manner. While working from home, I lost connectivity on a friday evening amid a meeting. Raised a support ticket - since there was no response after 2 hours, I went to their chat system.
After 10-15 minutes of waiting, someone joined the chat. They suggested me to reboot the router and reconnect - which I had already done a few times. I told them that 'PON' light is off, 'LOS' is blinking red - these happen when there is an issue at the ISP's end. But they said there was no issue.
I informed their local representative - who was so responsive till I paid the bill for connection. Told him 'I have meetings at night' - his response was 'we will fix it tomorrow'. I used mobile data to continue my work.
The issue was fixed the next day - comment in their app was 'Optical Fibre issue - fixed'.
The same thing happened on saturday as well. The chat agents / the local guy wouldn't respond.
Now I have to rely on mobile data for my internet needs!
It's only one month since I chose their service. Now, I have to switch to another ISP and lose my money.
Advice to new customers in Banglore: Issues happen, but if you are looking for an ISP that's responsible and responsive, never go for Excitel. Especially in KR Puram.

I never seen this type of worst internet service. Past 15 days i facing internet issue, several complaints, reminders also nobody answering properly. Hence, I decided to disconnect excitel network. I used this network only 15 days properly.(6months plan). I never recomond excitel.

Hi everyone, please don't go for Excitel, they will ask you to go for 6 months subscription and will take 6 months advance. Later for connection they will take 24 to 48 hours time. Then you will face speed Issue, if you connect customer care for every ticket they take 24 to 48 hours to resolve the issue but they will not solve your problem and ticket will be closed from their side. After few days frequently internet connection will disconnected like if you are watching a Movie on OTT platform 1 minutes movie then disconnect for 1 min, like this you have to complete your whole movie. Please don't waste your money for this Internet service provider. I should have seen reviews before going for Excitel but anyway take right decision before opting Excitel.

1) Sales guy as Sales folk usually communicate. The connection is feasible and it will be installed within a few hours
2) Cable installation guy said the distance is too far and the connection can't be installed as there could be issues with the bandwidth
3) After my communication with the Sales guy, we agreed the installation would take place and I can pay an additional ₹250 for extra cable
4) After some heated conversation b/w the Sales Guy & the Cable installation guy, they set it up
ONU signal strength ~27dB
Good:-
1) New Fibre Internet connection established
2) Value for money plan @ 4794(6Months400Mbps18OTTPlan)+250

Bad -
1) Cabling wasn't tied up, this I had to do manually.
2) I despise heated arguments
Router installation procedure:-
1) This was supposed to happen within 30 minutes. However, 3 hours is what it took, when I followed up with the Sales guy.
Outcome: Router installed.
Proactiveness of information sharing was missing.
Result- Router not configured. Never mind I took care of that since I knew what had to be done.
Upload speed issue. I have tested the speed to be b/w 200 & 230Mbps over the last 18 hours as opposed to 400Mbps.
Verdict:- Excitel is an okay service provider as long as one can accommodate people (if you catch my drift).
Value for money, sure!
With every service provider, it boils down to people & communication.
btdubs, I still have the Airtel Black 1099 plan (200Mbps Unlimited, 350+DTH Channels, AirtelXStream Premium and some OTT's, Unlimited Landline Calls, Disney+Hotstar)

Just want to share my experience with Excitel Broadband, I have raised a request # 67213730 for connection shifting on 30th November 2023 and today is 6th December 20203 in these 7 days nobody contacted me from shifting team. And still awaiting response from their local team about the connection shifting. I am attaching the screenshot of ticket number which already crossed the stipulated time offered by the customer care. Such a worst experience.
