The worst experience of my life
The worst experience of my life. I am initiating a court proceeding for misselling finance. My children only used it for couple of times and I noticed it does not suit their learning style and I could continue to afford it after the third month but I was told I had to be locked into an unexplained loan of £3910.

PS Due diligence was not undertaken and I only signed one document. I have confirmation from Duologi this year that they acted contrary to FSA as all checks for affordability was not undertaken.
Also my children only access it for less than 3 months before I requested for it to be cancelled

As with all companies that offer financial products we must adhere to very strict rules and regulations and, in fact, we go to extraordinary lengths to explain exactly what those obligations are for customers. Our processes and paperwork go far beyond what is legally required and are far in excess of what the Financial Ombudsman Service, Financial Conduct Authority and the Consumer Credit Act recommend. We do this to make families aware of the obligations they're entering into as we want to be transparent from the outset. In law, consumers have a 14 day right to cancel and our agreements are no different.
If you chose to purchase the programme using interest free finance, you would have had to sign a number of documents, clearly stating that you are entering into a financial contract and that you understand you have 14 days in which to cancel if you do not wish to go ahead. it is simply not possible that you have taken out an “unexplained loan”.
A copy of the signed documents are then re-sent to you well within the cancellation period, again giving you the option to cancel the contract.
You have stated in your review that your children only used the programme a couple of times in which case you would have known well within the 14 day cancellation period that the programme was not for you. I would suggest that because your children are no longer using the programme is the reason you feel you should no longer pay not that it was mis-sold.

I have a child diagnosed with specail needs school is overwhelming for him and recently has been unable to attend school. I used exemplar because i wanted to keep some structure at home whilst we worke on integrating him back into school With the right support. He still isn't in school its a slow gradual process but this has worked better than I thought it would for him. The people are lovely and are a great support would just like say thank you to everyone at exemplar.

The agent that assisted us with getting this service was very professional and no shade towards him, he gets 1 star. The 2nd star is for the customer service team as they are pretty responsive to emails (although very robotic). The fact that you are locked in no matter how your circmstances change is beyond me! All I am going to say is before you sign any agreement with this company be certain that you know you will be in it for the long haul. Be certain to know that if your child develops or is diagnoised with a condition (ADD or ADHD etc.) later on after their 14 days cnacellation period they will not & do not care! You will still have to pay and there is no way to cancel unless you say to hell with it, stop the direct debits and it impacts your credit negetivley.
Make sure you read all of the reviews, good and bad before you make your decision.

I’m really disappointed and trapped
I’m really disappointed and trapped. I wanted to cancel the service as is not more suitable for my family and I. The men I have spoke to have the audacity to tell me how to use the system even thought I told him that my kids are struggling and need more face to face tutoring instead of using a laptop. My kids are not using it but I will have to pay the £49 for 1 year before I can cancel it. I regret to have enrolled myself in this. I’m a single mum who is struggling with finance. I’ve tried to explain the situation but he didn’t want to understand. I have been with you in January, only 3 months. If you can’t listen to your customers I don’t know why we should let our children educations in your hands. I would not recommend this to any one.

Not what I needed
If you are looking for motivating tutorial this is not the one for you. Exemplar style is best suited for an independent and focused child with little or no motivation to practice. Aside from that the layout is very good, and the parent feedback is almost instant so you are up to speed per your child's progress. No human interaction.

This company is really annoying
This company is really annoying. I joined with the intention that I will be able to work with the children at home. Unfortunately I kept having to practically force the children to go on it because they said they prefer a teacher to reach them just like school as they do not like it. I contacted exampler and finally able to speak to someone this afternoon 2/04/2022 who kept trying to force me to stay on it and went on to say am on a 12 months contract, which I already knew but was told I can cancel anytime. However, this exampler staff kept saying I can’t till after 12 months even when I told him to go back to the person that signed us in because I was told we could cancel at anytime. The reason was that I did a monthly subscription, but to get the discount I needed to pay the full amount before the next direct debit, with that if I do I will be able to get a discount for a years contract. However, if I don’t it would just continue as a rolling monthly contract. The one year contract will not hold if I don’t pay in full. I paid the first subscription in advance and it says ‘’ This is to confirm that I,…….. Course Advisor, whose local office is London have processed/received an advance payment from our customer, ………… on 02-03-2022 for the amount of £49.00 which has been paid by Credit Card.

Contacted the team on the 18 of March as it was frustrating to get the children to use it. Such a difficult process to cancel. Was told a member of the team will contact me.
To even say I wanted to pay the one year at a go this month initially and go for the one year contract. Why would I waste my money when the children do not want it? Why would force me into your one year contract when the discussion I heard was different but with the way they respond I do not think I can ever recommend this company or use them again.
I was so infuriated, I had to cut the phone off the guy. Am not the type that gives review at all but this behaviour of forcing someone to stay forcefully is unacceptable, so why tell them they can cancel at anytime.
