Just returned from our Ancient & Modern Japan trip. A very busy 2 weeks. There is a lot of fast paced walking, around 8-10 miles per day. But if you want to see the variety that Japan has to offer... See more

Two weeks in Botswana and Zimbabwe, mostly wild camping was an incredible experience. Game drives by day, listening to our many and varied animal neighbours by night, there was nothing not to like. Our leaders were friendly, efficient and knowledgeable, the tents and facilities basic in the extreme, but functional.
Exodus make booking simple, and the trip notes and activity level guide are really useful.
If you like nature up close and personal, this is a brilliant trip.

Excellent leader, excellent walking itinerary, excellent food
Exodus provides an amazing way to experience a huge amount in a short time. Because you are not worrying about logistics, you can fully enjoy learning and absorbing the culture around you. The knowledge of local guides is really valuable, and the variety of activities is brilliant. You always get to go to less-touristy places as well as the well-known highlights.

Excellent tour guide.
Good sized group.
The Almafi coast is an iconic location and was so beautiful. Our guide Paulo made the trip even more memorable with his knowledge and humour. We saw the highlights and more and would definitely recommend this trip.

Hiking in the Atlas Mountains exceeded our expectations. More than just a hiking trip, thanks to our wonderful guide Mohammed Kassami, it was also a cultural opportunity as we learned about the rhythm of village/ community/ family life as well. The scenery was both rugged and beautiful; the hiking was a bit challenging at times, (speaking as a 71 year old), mostly due to heat, altitude, and the roughness of the trail in places, so hiking boots, poles, sunscreen and a good hat are indeed recommended.

The week in Andalucia at Cortijo Rosario exceeded all my expectations. Our guide Miguel was outstanding and one of the best guides I've ever experienced in many years of travelling with Exodus. He is an expert in the area of Andalucia and is extremely knowledgeable. The team at the accommodation, Cortijo Rosario, were excellent and the food was delicious. This was a wonderful holiday that took us to parts of Andalucia that I never knew existed.

Just returned from a hiking holiday in Andalusia. Excellent trip. A day in lovely Seville and 5 hiking days, all with different character and challenging but achievable. Our guide Michael was excellent, very passionate about the local community, the area and Spain and with a wealth of knowledge. I would strongly recommend this trip.
Our 15 day small group tour to Sicily was even better than expected as there were only 5 of us. So much seemed to be packed in, though we did have a few spells of free time, we didn't relax much as there was so much to see! Loved Ortigia, the visit to Mount Etna, Noto, Ragusa Ibla, Mozia, the beautiful spring flowers in Lo Zingaro National Park, the simply amazing mosaics at Villa Romana dei Casale (which appears in so few tours, a real "must do" in my opinion), Piazza Armerina and the many temples and churches and cathedrals we saw, the best of which were probably the Valley of Temples at Agrigento, Greek remains at Selinunte and the wonderful Duomo at Monreale. But none of this would have been the same without the incredible knowledge and passion of our tour leader, Tiziano Tomasello, who did a wonderful job giving us copious amounts of historical information without it getting boring, answering questions on just about anything you could think about from food, nature, infrastructure and the arts, supplying useful maps and choices for the best places to eat and basically being an all-round lovely guy. I learned so much about this fabulous island because of him and the excellent local guides we had at various sites.

This was my third tour with Exodus and I keep coming back because they present a wonderful travel experience with great leaders and team members. I will definitely seek out other travel opportunities with them in future.
Cultural tours in Greece and Italy as well as a nature-focused tour of Madagascar have delivered what is promised with great value for the money.

Used Exodus 25 years ago and was very pleased. Their standards have held up into the digital age. Have not been on the holiday yet but booking process remains very good a quarter of a century later

An excellent cultural trip to Malta. The leader was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and did everything she could to maximise the experience for us.
We visited Vietnam on the Best of Vietnam Premium Adventure trip. Our Guide was Thanh Vu (TV) and due to the Iran war, our group had some cancellations which left us with a group of 3 ( Me, my wife and one other). The adventure began in Hanoi and over the course of 2 weeks, made its way down to Saigon, visiting many stops on the way including Tam Coq, Hue, Hoi An, Ha long Bay, and the Mekong Delta. TV the guide was brilliant and strove to make the whole experience special. The trips were varied and entertaining and the food was amazing. Would thoroughly recommend The tour, Exodus Adventure Travels, and TV the guide. Thanks Exodus for a fantastic memorable holiday

The use of local guides by Exodus makes such a difference. The most recent trip to Picos de Europa Mountains in Spain was lead by Alfonso Gallego who was outstanding. His generosity with both time and expertise was matched by his genuine love for the mountains and his positivity, good humour, endless patience and in working g so very hard to make the trip memorable for the whole group. He even had a word with the weather god and the forecast rain for the week just disappeared!

Our Amalfi guided walking trip was excellent. Roberta our guide supported everyone’s needs throughout. Walks were achievable, the views outstanding and allowed for plenty of photography. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and had a lot of laughs along the way.
