ExpenseMonkey - A thoughtfully built tool

ExpenseMonkey stands out as a thoughtfully built tool that just works — and works well. Here's what impressed me during implementation and testing:

- Multi-currency handling is seamless. I tested expenses in INR and AED, and the tool correctly converted them to USD without any manual intervention. This means global teams can submit expenses without worrying about currency mismatches or additional reconciliation later.

- Accurate tax capture is another strength. Invoices with embedded taxes were automatically detected and categorized, ensuring VAT/GST isn’t missed — this translates to cleaner bookkeeping and faster month-end close.

- AI detection features are surprisingly effective. When vendor names were missing, the system flagged the issue and suggested possible matches.

-Integration setup was effortless. I connected Xero in minutes, and ExpenseMonkey automatically pulled in my Chart of Accounts.
