Absolutely shocking consumer…

Absolutely shocking consumer experience. I eventually cancelled my order on 22nd Dec when told it wouldn’t arrive by Christmas. 3 days before Christmas when I’m told they can’t fulfill it. This was only after my wife visited their premises. I’m quite a patient person and was totally understanding of current climate and it being “That time of year” and luckily managed to purchase from elsewhere with Amazon Prime Next Day (phew). The lack of Graphics cards is actually a genuine issue right now so accepted this reasoning also. What I don’t accept is I haven’t yet received a refund. Message after message stating they don’t know why and should have had it by now. Would have left a better review if they’d at least got the refund right. Although some customers seem to have had a pleasant experience, never again for me.
Update: 1-02-2021
Added another couple of stars as have now received refund. I am sympathetic to Jo who is obviously working tirelessly and if it wasn’t for needing it by Christmas then I could have waited. Small businesses will obviously be under more pressure during these unprecedented times. They are genuine and certainly not a scam. As mentioned previously, my wife visited and spoke to Jo directly. I hope they manage to sort out their logistics and fulfill orders for future customers. I realise staffing levels make it difficult but they really need to maintain contact with the customer and provide regular updates with regards to orders and refunds from the start.

A great purchase

I ordered a PC on 6th December and was made aware it would not arrive before Christmas. On every occasion of contacting Expertec by email about delivery I have received a reply within a couple of hours. I was informed that at the latest it would be 18th Jan and on the 18th I received the DPD notification that it had been despatched. I received the PC today and am extremely impressed with the whole bundle. I was concerned after seeing all the negative reviews but no, I am delighted with my purchase.

A tough time for all small businesses

Can not believe this utter disgrace of a company, ordered a pc for my son on the 5th once I realised it wouldn’t be here in tone for Xmas they confirmed the would give me a full refund. This was on the 22nd Dec it is now the 15th jan and still no refund. Terrible customer service do not buy from them how can they justify leaving families in such financial difficulty as such a stressful time for everyone anyway!! Utterly disgraceful.

A little update today I received a full refund for the pc I have to say I don't think this company is a scam i believe that they have like all other companies tried to adjust during Covid restrictions and been overwhelmed by work, Jo has been very helpful I have to say and although it took almost a month for a refund every time I tried to call or email I got a response from her. I think if they were just honest with customers straight away and said they were struggling to meet build slots etc most customers would appreciate the honesty I know I did in the end.

Excellent Service!

Part Two: Received my son Christmas PC Gaming Tower November, superbly packaged.
Opened Christmas Day, all working great. Only one technical issue with HDD.
Jo responded very quickly to my emails during her Christmas holidays.
Assisting with ideas to resolve.
Issue couldn’t be resolved so DPD collected 4th January, 2021 (no cost) and fixed.
Returned by DPD (no cost) 9th January, 2021 and all resolved.
The issue wasn’t major and resolved at the company earliest convenience.
From ordering to now my son happily playing on line, I can’t fault the company.
What I can fault is the anxiety some of the other negative reviews can cause unnecessarily!!
A company by law must be given one opportunity to fix or resolve a problem?
Some reviewers refrain from doing this!
Jo has shown professionalism and been knowledgeable throughout.
An empathetic approach taken.
I will definitely use this company again.

Money stealing thieves

Ordered pc on 1st Dec and was told guaranteed Xmas delivery. Emailed twice after order and assured we would get it prior to Xmas. 2 days before they said sorry no graphics cards so asked for a refund and I am still waiting for my money back. I have threatened them with the police as they are holding my money for as long as possible. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY

This company have been absolutely amazing I ordered 2 gaming pc’s for my children for Christmas and I have contacted them loads of times for help in setting them up as I’m not very technical and every time they have answered my query and talked me through it. There after sales care has been second to none and I would highly recommend this company I will certainly be using them again

Do NOT purchase goods from this company!
Save yourself the heartache and shop elsewhere.

Save yourself the stress and purchase elsewhere

Just a terrible experience. No contact to say the order wasn’t going to be fulfilled, but after reading the reviews on Facebook about the quality of the goods delivered, I am relived. If you are reading this and considering purchasing from this company I would say say avoid at all cost and spare yourself the grief of dealing with a company that thinks operating with a total disregard for their customers is OK.

This company takes your money, ignores your calls & emails and sends you damaged inferior quality items.
Their website/Facebook page promises you so much but unfortunately they manage to fall far short of even their own expectations.
Companies like this are the ones that need to go out of business for deceiving their customers consistently.

Great value streaming PC for high FPS 1440p gaming

Ordered a new gaming build and arrived in Zwolle (Netherlands) within 14 days. The tech guys at Expertec were extremely helpful in helping me choose the right video card for my needs and now I will have a lot of fun playing Sims 4 with lots of mods and streaming at the same time

Can't speak for others but the service was excellent in my case. Computer arrived a little later than expected due to covid but the Expertec team was super helpful and my order arrived.

The computer has been excellent so far and the setup was a breeze. I know our son will love it

No PC after 4 weeks

Ordered a PC on 30th Nov chased after 14 days to be told it was being sent at the end on the week, nothing appeared chased again to be told they we're working hard to get orders completed, still hadn't heard anything so chased again just received an email to say they had run out of graphics cards and may not be able to get my order to me by Christmas.

Can't believe they didn't let me know sooner
