Be careful
I had dealings with IQI Global, Exsim's preferred agent for a development I was interested in. I can now state, if that is Exsim's preferred agent then that is a damning indictment of Exsim. Huge concerns with IQI Global:
1) Data privacy & protection
Rather than issue company owned email accounts, they have their agents list personal gmail/hotmail/yahoomail on their business cards. Data privacy & protection seems to have completely bypassed IQI. Even if IQI agents start using IQI company email in future, one suspects there will be no security protocols such as minimum password strength, 2FA etc.
2) IQI agent untrustwothiness
During the regrettable encounter I had with IQI, it became clear their agent was:
a) acting against my requests
b) not being transparent
Looping this back to data privacy, IQI are the preferred agent for the development I was interested in. When I escalated the un-trustworthiness of the IQI agent to the developer (Exsim), someone from IQI management ironically responded by asking I email his personal gmail id.
At one point the IQI agent recommended a 3rd party mortgage broker. The mortgage broker wanted to do business with (you guessed it), her personal gmail id. IQI just don't get data privacy for themselves nor their partners. I should have walked way as soon as I seen the gmail id on their agent's business card. That would have spared me issues I had subsequently with their agent non-transparency & acting against my wishes.
3) Oddly, the IQI agent was very keen that the dozen or so documents needed for mortgage application were sent to him & not direct to the bank. Do IQI sell customer data?
Until Exsim have better due diligence re their preferred partners, I doubt I'll deal with Exsim again.
