Proactive response after a rough first impression
I received an unsolicited sales call from a rep at Extra Sauce Agency, despite being registered on the National Do Not Call List. The interaction was frustrating — I flagged the issue, and instead of acknowledging it, the caller became dismissive and condescending.
That said, I reached out to the company directly and heard back from the founder, who took the issue seriously. He acknowledged the misstep, explained how their leads are sourced, and committed to reviewing their processes to better comply with Canadian regulations.
Mistakes happen. What matters is how a company responds — and in this case, the response showed accountability and a willingness to improve. That deserves recognition.
