This company quotes you one price and…

This company quotes you one price and then within months they increase it by nearly 50%.

The customer service is horrific.

Read the other reviews so many of us have had similar experiences.

I’ve heard they bribe 5 star reviews for discounted storage.

Shouldn’t have to do this if they just ran a legit company.

I wish I had gone to taxi box!

Company increases price by 50% within three months. Noticed in the below reviews they've done the same thing to other consumers.

Be warned there cheap prices are not ongoing!!

Pickup was also not a great experience, the times were changed all day. Finally arriving after 7pm, to help we had moved everything outside to get in the box faster. We had paid an extra amount for pickup from inside and this amount was never credited back to us.

Note: it was never a three month price, our confirmation email states it's the price for 12 months. The company are liars and practice unfair trading.

Check the fine print before signing up

After getting quotes from multiple storage companies I chose Ezebox because their price was good and their logistics very simple. I just needed furniture out of the way for a month or two while the house was being painted so I didn't need access to my goods at their storage location. Their guys came on time, were very careful with moving everything and helped by unscrewing parts of the treadmill to get it out the door. Then they put it all in a box on their truck and off they went. Return of the goods was just as easy though there was a scratch on the door frame which had to be repainted but which they fixed me up for.
It is very important that you ask in advance for a copy of the contractual details about potential return etc costs that will be sent after you sign up.
*I just had a further discussion with Ezebox and it is clear that still they do not understand that it is illegal to introduce new terms after entering the agreement. For example, the takeaway fee was $299 but the return fee of $499 (plus other exorbitant fees) is only advised after you sign up.

Per Ezebox's reply below, note that the discounts I received were simply the prices of the services in their agreement which I demanded they stick to. What they still do not acknowledge or understand is that you cannot introduce new (and vastly inflated) fees in a hidden contract.
As for the scratched door paint, they should have taken more care and the $100 payment was warranted.

I do not recommend this company.

Waste of time and money

The removalists themselves do an okay job but they’re let down by a totally dysfunctional scheduling & communication system. I’ve had 3+ hours’ delays with both my pick up and delivery, and each time I’ve had to ring the office multiple times to get any information about when to expect the removalists. Often the office staff themselves don’t know because they don’t hear from the removalists. The office doesn’t provide any updates or have any contingency plan in case of delays, which do happen with removals. Having had other removals companies where the movers are proactive about updates and accurate with their timing, this has been a huge let down. If you value your time don’t use Ezebox.

I had damage to some of my belongings after the redelivery (more than 5 hours after the scheduled time), and the removalists were clearly rushing. I got nothing but excuses from the manager Nick when I asked to speak to him. They overcharged me for the redelivery and aren’t responding to my messages. Customer time means very little to this company, who have low standards of professional courtesy and respect.

Be prepared for it to cost you twice as much as you are quoted

Ezebox will quote you a reduced price and then three months later they will double the price and you have no choice but to pay it because they have your items - it feels like ransom. I wrongly assumed they would have the key for the storage box so they pushed through another charge on my card for cutting the lock. They don't refund you for any additional payments you have made for the month. The only reason they have a good google rating is because they offer a $50 credit for writing customers who write a positive review. The only positive that I can say is that the people loading and unloading are really helpful.

That is not the fee that I signed up to and I have the email chains to prove it.

Both of the guys were polite and respectful

Both of the guys were polite, respectful and they handled my goods with care, very professional service.
It didn’t take them long and I did have a lot of items for them to take out.
They gave me 2 keys and the facility is only 10 minutes away, I can access my items at any time. They were also on time, I couldn’t be happier with the service and knowing where my things are and that they’re in good hands, thank you guys for everything and just the fact that when I enquired about it, I made my mind up there and then and it was easy to organise, no fuss at all.
I would highly recommend this company for all your storage needs, thanks guys 🙏

Good services

The delivery system is good, the price for redelivery increased by quite a sum from the date i purchased the survice, however the support team aggreed to charge the original price after i consulted about the price increase. The team also helped adjust my payment date by a day so that i dont have to pay for storage a whole month extra just for a day.

Good communication. John & Lafaele, who loaded the box were professional and great at "tetris"! Loaded a lot more in the box than I thought would be possible.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE


I paid for keeping my properties in the storage and for the moving fee as well. (Reading the reviews now, I have not seen any good reviews on the moving service)

The moving fee costs around $500 and they charge around $130 per month for keeping it in storage. I was busy at the time so I chose to go on with this. However, when my stuff came back, my airfryer was broken, my stuff was filthy and furniture had marks or dents everywhere. This is not the worst part.

When I asked for compensation, they offered a generous amount of $100. Given that my airfryer costs $200 and my furniture around $2000, I was not happy with the offer and politely asked if it could be any higher. To this Nick replied "I am not in the business of replacing storage and unfortunately second hand furniture is not worth much." He also made some excuses saying we give a self-load option which is cheaper. My fault. When I paid $500 for people to move my properties, I assumed that it also guaranteed the safety of my properties but I guess it didn't.

In addition to this Nick added unnecessary and untruthful comments such as "we rarely get disputes like this".
Lastly, he threatened with "I will not be replying to emails – this is my last and final offer either take it or this matter is complete."

Wonderful service

Great and Friendly Service

They had my ezebox ready for storage when I arrived and a team member was there to instruct me. He was really friendly and it all was pretty fast. Really recommend using ezebox for storage solutions.

Fantastic service from beginning to end

Fantastic customer service and support, from the initial contact it was such an easy process. Clear drop off tracking time for the storage pods and the guys who packed the pods were fantastic, high Tetris skills with consideration and care in handling and packing. Highly recommend.
