I have been having major problems with my Vitamix A3500i bought 2 years ago. The original Australian distributor were great to deal with - however dealing with this distributor Facklemann - it is the total opposite. There is no customer service. It takes generally 5 attempts to even get through by phone and they never call back. Vitamix are expensive items and this is not good enough.
I recently emailed Fackelmann Housewares in Sydney Australia regarding one of my Wusthoff kitchen knives that had a cracked handle in three places where the bolts were fitted. A piece of the handle came off and it looked like the pins had a slight oxidation on it which caused expansion and cracked the handle in three places. I'm very careful with my knives and always wash them by hand and dry them off immediately.
Nevertheless the handle cracked and I sent several pictures to Fackelmann in Sydney who responded and shipped out a new knife without any fuss or drama.
Needless to say I was extremely happy with this and this was top notch customer service.
