I wanted to try Factor_75 because the…

I wanted to try Factor_75 because the convenience sounded great, but the onboarding and billing experience completely ruined it for me.

The biggest issue is that you’re essentially forced to commit before you even understand what you’re getting. You have to enter your payment details and sign up for a plan just to properly view meals, and by that point, your first box is basically already locked in. There’s no real “browse first, decide later” experience like most other meal services.

On top of that, customer service tends to fall back on “policy” rather than actually helping resolve issues.

I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re 100% sure you want a recurring meal subscription from day one.

Scumbags

"Factor" likes to take your money without any confirmation or warning.
This week, we forgot to cancel our order, and instead of reminding us, they selected meals for us and charged our account overnight. When my husband called to request a refund (€107), a woman from their so-called "customer support" laughed at his request. Only after a heated argument did she "generously" agree to refund 50%.
So they took 50% of our money for NOTHING!
They took them at night, and we called them first thing in the morning as soon as we noticed the charge - so it's very unlikely they had even started preparing anything.
An absolutely scummy company with disrespectful people in their "support."
Highly do not recommend!

Cost less for more boxes??

I was finding that I was spending a lot for 10 boxes and barely getting through them in a week. Lowered it to 8 boxes and they cost me more! What a scam

I like the variety and food the…

I like the variety and food the majority of the time. I dislike automatically being sent weekly meals that i didn't pick. You know what I consistently order and i consider my favorites but you send some of the most unappetizing meals to me. Quality control could use improvement. I love the teriyaki ginger salmon but i almost choked on a salmon bone while eating it for lunch at work. When i take the cover off some of the meals I find my vegetables, desert, and meat seem to be mixed together in the different partitions. I don't know if this a process or delivery issue. Overall, I consider Factor one of the better meal services.

Horrible business practice

Horrible business practice. I went in their website to see what salads they have in partnership with Samara and clicking on automatically triggered an order. They shipped product I did not authorize without even attempting to verify my address. Then proceeded to charge my CC and send order to an old address where I no longer lived. I would never do business with this company again. Horrible and shady business practices. Thankfully I was able to fight the fraudulent charges with my CC company and have it refunded.

Too Expensive now at $20 per meal.Canceling..

My 4 plan meal package works fine.
The food quality is excellent. The portion sizes are right for me. But, the cost of $80 per week with no more discounts is TOO EXPENSIVE. A $20 per meal cost is not acceptable to me. I will be CANCELING my account shortly.

NOT HAPPY

I did not order from Factor. I was “browsing” on “Hello Fresh,” and the next thing I knew, there was a $50-something charge on my credit card. It was a charge by “Factor”. When I called, it was confirmed that Factor owns Hello Fresh, and when you browse, your previous account is activated, and there was no way to stop the order or reverse the charges. This is a deceptive way to do business. I cancelled Factor because I didn’t like the lack of variety in meal choices. The meals are okay, but too spicy and too heavy in cream sauces for my liking. I am not happy that meals were chosen for me and delivered to me without my awareness that “browsing another site” would trigger a “re-activation” of my Factor account. So BE WARE!
